Experiencia fantástica: Went and had my Medusa/philtrum pierced for a 3rd time yesterday and honestly? I was terrified. I thought with having scar tissue from being pierced multiple times already it would be super painful but out of all 3 times, this one was by far the easiest and least painful. Landon is an amazing piercer! He was super nice and easy to talk to. Very educated and passionate about what he does, and he made me feel comfortable while getting the job done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting a piercing! Also want to add that the ladies up front are also super sweet and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE this place! I’ve gone in twice for piercings. First I had my lobes done by Victoria. I did 2 sets of lobe piercings done. They closed up years ago and it was time to have them redone. She was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted. A week later one of them somehow came undone and I lost it, I went in for a replacement and a man helped me, I didn’t catch his name but he was just as awesome! A few weeks later I went in for two hidden piercings , Shana did these and I am OBSESSED!!! She was quick but made me feel super comfortable!! All 3 times I went in I waited no longer than 20 minutes and that was going in on Saturday each time. I highly recommend!! The front desk attendant was also super sweet and welcoming which immediately made me comfortable.

Experiencia negativa: I’m disappointed with my recent experiences at Tatu. I stopped in three different times just to get a replacement for a screwed-in earring I originally purchased there, and the wait was extremely long every time. It was frustrating since this was a very quick fix that could have taken less than a minute. I understand that the front desk staff aren’t allowed to handle jewelry, but the process doesn’t seem set up well for small, simple requests. In the past, situations like this were handled quickly and efficiently, so this was surprising. I’m also confused as to how a screwed-in earring from Tatu keeps falling out. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not what I expected.

Experiencia fantástica: My partner and I got our septum’s done here. It’s about $40 a piece for a piercing. I believe Shane pierced ours and he was very professional and informative about the aftercare. I bled a bit but it was not that painful. They have a bunch of awards for tattoos and certifications so if you need anything done, this is the best place to come to. It’s a couple-owned business, and I also met the owner’s wife & she was really pleasant to talk to. I would definitely come back and get some other work done ✔️

Experiencia fantástica: I got a nose piercing, my first and was a little nervous. My piercer was Landan, he talked me through the process, was very friendly and accommodating since I brought family to accompany me. He helped me make sure I was happy with my placement and that it worked with my nose, did me right. Gonna follow up with him to make sure it’s healing right in about 4-6 weeks. Also was interested in Indian piercing culture and significance which was chill. He will do you right.

Experiencia fantástica: We were searching for a place that would pierce my four-year-old without a piercing gun. (If you’ve done your research, you know there’s a lot of reasons for this.) We used Shane Jacobs and we would recommend him to anyone. He was professional, easy to understand, thorough with aftercare instructions, and gentle with my baby girl. Having a second person help to tandem pierce both ears at the same time was super helpful. We’d choose to go back to him again for future piercings without hesitation.

Experiencia fantástica: I walked in for a daith piercing and Landon was my piercing specialist, which I was happy about cause he received a lot of good reviews and one was from a client of mine. He was knowledgeable and courteous, and talking to him was like talking to my homeboy that knows piercing () The piercing wasn't painful at all. He gave me thorough after-care instructions and a timeline on when I can get a hoop earring, which I can't wait for but I will. I will be going back soon and hopefully he'll be the one doing it!

Experiencia positiva: I got my ears pierced here. Everything was great until about three weeks later when one of the earrings fell out, and my ear became very sore after my attempt to put it back in. I went back to get the jewelry replaced and Shane saved the day--he informed me about what type of jewelry would have been a better option, gave me better information about cleaning, and handled the situation very gently, patiently, and professionally when I began to feel lightheaded and sick while he was replacing the jewelry. I wish I had known everything Shane helped me with at my initial piercing. If you come to Tatu for a piercing, I would definitely recommend requesting Shane specifically.

Experiencia fantástica: I went there to get my 3rd while redone. I called ahead to check on wait times. It was pretty slow so I was seen rather quickly. My guy was Landon and he was extremely knowledgeable. Once he started talking about bonnet juices and how they can breed bacteria, he spoke my language. He also addressed my concern about my second hole that I had gotten done somewhere else and how he could correct it. He broke down the price points if each type of jewelry type, maintenance and how to properly remove them. I will definitely be back.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in today to get a piercing , they got me back pretty quickly considering piercings are walk-ins only. Ashley was super professional and made me feel very comfortable and confident getting it done. The placement looks great and considering the piercing I got, she made it as painless and easy as it could be! I will definitely be back for any other piercings in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: Let me tell you about a piercer named Landon. I went in today at Tatu to get an industrial piercing that I've dreamed about for years. Landon was kind, gentle, and an expert with a heart as he explained to me that the type of industrial piercing I wanted would not be possible. He didn't give up hope. Experimenting with an idea, he was able to custom make the bar to fit my ear and gift me with a floating industrial. Landon stressed again and again how important it was to make sure that I left him with what I wanted and not just get paid for a service. He wanted the job done right and to last. Landon took pictures so he can compare the healing when I return in a few weeks. He's knowledgeable, an artist, and truly focuses on the client. He's also straightforward as hell and really cool. He's got a great vibe. He listens, and I'm so very grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in today to get a new nose ring. It would be my first time changing it since I got it pierced. The young lady (Victoria) was very patient and knowledgeable. I expressed to her my nervousness and she was more than willing to do it for me! She also encouraged me to give it a try. Needless to say I am no longer scared of changing my own nose piercing! Experiencia fantástica: Victoria did my septum yesterday and did a great job! she did kinda poke the side of my nostril when she did the piercing though which i only realized later when i picked off the scab, but my septum ring looks and feels great so it was worth it. everyone was nice and we talked about Tokyo Ghoul and it was a good time. if i get another piecing, I'll return for sure!

Experiencia negativa: i like getting piercings here but it’s always so slow. i just waited an hour and a half (after i was told 40 minutes) just to get a ball replacement for my industrial piercing. made me wait in the queue even though i wasn’t getting a piercing. like, it’s a ball. just go get it. idk. saw at least four people working and no one could’ve done it?

Experiencia fantástica: Took our 3yo today to get her ears pierced for the first time and for the life of me I can remember the piercers names but they were wonderful! The main piercer explained everything in detail and walked us through each step and included my daughter so she knew what was going to happen. This isn’t our first experience but I really appreciated the way they handled a smaller child :)

Experiencia negativa: Got my nose pierced by Shane beginning of April. Not the kindest (but didn’t matter much to me as doing a good job.) developed a bump inside my piercing that is red and pus filled almost about 2 weeks afterwards. Thought a piercing bump and would go away. Went back to have him check 6 weeks into it being pierced, told me to do apple cider vinegar and that it will help. I did not do that as some reputable piercers elsewhere instructed me to NOT. Well, now 11 weeks in and still same bump and very aggravating. And pretty sure it is because of the surgical metal and being allergic to it and an infection. When he pierced my nose, his hands reeked of cigs through his gloves also. Do not recommend this place. Seems like a fast place and not caring at all for the customers. Highly disappointed considering I had my nose pierced 15yrs ago here. And no issues. The same spot and piercing..

Experiencia fantástica: My son got his ears pierced for his 6th birthday by Shane. He was super awesome about calming my sons nerves and explaining everything to him. My son loves his ear piercings! I also got a piercing by Shane while I was there, what I originally wanted, he explained wouldn't be a good fit for my ear anatomy, so I went with something different. But Shane was willing to miss out on taking any more money from me instead of giving me something that might be painful/reject/etc, and I totally respect that!

Experiencia fantástica: i love tatu! i went in around 3pm on a weekday to get my septum pierced after having had it closed for a couple years, and the check in process was so easy! shane was absolutely amazing, and made the entire process as seamless as it could be. my septum is placed perfectly, and the healing process has been great too! so clean, friendly people, great work - i could not recommend this place more!

Desk person acknowledged me immediately and she was on the phone with another customer, but let me know she would be with me in a minute. To me, being acknowledged is a sign of true professionalism from a business. I have left businesses that can't take the time to at least acknowledge me, I will wait, I don't mind, just let me know you see me. Now let's talk about the personnel...everyone that I encountered was professional and very conscientious about their job. Crystal did my double piercing and was meticulous, and described every step of the way. Described the aftercare in detail and sent me on my way. Over the weekend, I noticed that one piercing had come out, I immediately called on they said, "No problem" come back in and we will put it back in for you. My piercing was done on Thursday and I went back in on Monday. Landon took me back and again, the attention to sanitation was so evident and he also was so pleasant and just made me feel like a valued client. Keep it up you guys, you are Rockin' It!! Well done.

Experiencia negativa: I got a helix piercing here 3 months ago. I went to a different place two days ago and that piercer (without knowing where I had received the piercing) commented that the helix was pierced at an angle and would never heal properly. I called Tatu and they looked at it, admitted it was crooked, and asked who told me there was a problem. When I shared the name of the other piercer the guy at Tatu started to insult her and said she probably just assumed I got the piercing there. This was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I’ll never return. Update: I still have a piercing bump and it's 4 months old. I have many cartilage piercings and I have never had an experience like this. I cannot emphasize this enough: I will never go back and I will refer all my friends elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter got her third piercing in her ears this weekend. They look awesome and she had a great experience. This is her second time coming to Tatu for ear piercings and we can’t say enough good things. Shane did her piercings this time and he was awesome and everything was very clean! We highly recommend going to Shane at Tatu for piercings. We don’t recommend getting the threaded back earrings though, hers already came off which he warned us could happen and thankfully she caught it right away but it was scary for us and that it came off like that. I can’t remember what the other post earring option was called, but if you want post backs get the one that isn’t threaded!

Experiencia negativa: I wish I had read the reviews about the reviews of crooked piercings before I had gone here. If you are considering getting a piercing here please reconsider. I went to get a nose and monroe piercing. They monroe piercing was done so crooked it is straight up and down so you see the side of the piercing. Every time I eat it digs into my lip. I wwnt back to see what could be done since this was obviously done wrong and the extremely rude front desk lady said I had to wait for 2 hours and someone would look at it. She was pretty much like oh well we have your money now so sucks for you. Please please do not go here they mess you up and don't care in the slightest.

Experiencia negativa: Went there on 11/16/24 got my Tragus pierced - paid extra for a gold moon - woke up last night and my moon was gone- like my skin ate it- it was sore and swollen and I freaked out. Went to my normal piercer in Cinci and she said - the post was way too small , the piercing was too deep and was done at a horrible angle. I would not recommend this place. The pic is what the moon piercing looks like vs how I woke up and my skin ate it. Don’t go here. I’m $100 out from getting it done right. I never write reviews but I had to on this one.

Experiencia negativa: Back a couple of months ago I got my 3rd set of lobes pierced and the piercer offered to pierce me with curved bars. I agreed because I thought it would be okay but now my ears won’t heal and I’ve had to switch jewelry multiple times since I’ve gotten them done. I’ve gone to two of my more local piercers for a professional opinion and they have told me my piercer did it wrong. So just a little warning to people going there don’t let them pierce you with a horseshoe like bar

Experiencia negativa: i got my nose pierced a year ago there and she told me that a nose ring would heal the best so its what i went with even though it was $20 extra. it still has not healed over today and she should not have pierced it with a ring. my eyebrow piercing worked well and healed well so i have mixed feelings.

Experiencia fantástica: Tatu was recommended by several people I spoke to. Went in for a septum piercing. I would like to to they are absolutely AWESOME!!! Shane did my piercing and WOW he is FANTASTIC!!!! Walked me through every step he was doing. He is so fast and great at what he does I didn’t even know the piercing was over!!!! I’d highly recommend Shane for piercings and his tat work I saw was also amazing. He will be assisting us with a couple tat corrections 5️⃣⭐️

Experiencia negativa: I went in to get my septum pierced. I called ahead of time and asked if they take walk ins and they said yes. Came in and was told that their piercer isn’t there and I’d have to wait 30 mins. Which i didn’t have a problem with. I guess they decided not to wait for the actual piercer and so one of the tattoo artists took me back and started prepping. Then the actual piercer walked in and they asked if he would do the piercing and he said he would in just a second. I guess the tattoo artist decided to pierce my septum himself anyways. He told me he’d done hundreds of piercings so I didn’t think it would be a problem. He ended up piercing my septum insanely crooked and using jewelry that was so crazy big that I couldn’t even flip it up in my nose no matter which way I tried. I just ended up taking it out because I couldn’t get over how crooked it was. UPDATE: I went to another piercer to find out it was pierced in the complete wrong spot. The man pierced through the very bottom of my septum. It looked ridiculous. I was able to get it repierced that same day because the position in which it should have been (and was eventually) pierced was a completely different spot higher up in my nose. I’m so disappointed I wasted $40 to have this horrid experience. Seriously so unprofessional and unqualified.

Experiencia fantástica: went there for my olympic rings tattoo and it turned out incredible. i went for a walk-in when they opened and was taken back pretty much right away. the staff is great and the tattoo artist (john q) did an amazing job with my rings. i ended up getting another one as well, both were perfect.

I did have to wait a little bit but it was all worth it cause I have chubby ear lobes and I can't go to Claire's so to be able to get the longer posts for an amazing price especially since I'm from out of town and this was the first place that came up when I searched for places but overall I had great experience and I would 100% come back and recommend it.

Experiencia negativa: Been getting all of my piercings here for three years now and I can finally say today was the last time i'll ever come here. absolutely loved this place for the entirety of the time I was here but that really is only because of a couple of piercers. molly is the most insightful and helpful piercer ive ever had and she was my only reason for coming back. today on a sunday i go in for a nose piercing and the receptionist was snarky and blatantly rude to me and everybody else in there when asking how long the wait would be considering there were people standing and sitting around the entire shop. molly was also the only piercer so i hope she didnt have to deal with the receptionist's attitude alone all day. honestly molly i hope you can find a better shop soon.

Experiencia negativa: Whoever is working the front desk needs to work on their customer service and social skills. Also stop telling people of false wait times!! If it's going to be longer than expected just say that! Was told it would be 20 min wait for a piercing change out…. I waited for an hour and even had to get up to say something before being called back. Absolutely not busy at all on a Monday after noon. (2-3pm) Ridiculous & an inconvenience.

When I came in requesting assistance changing it out, Lexie was extremely friendly and I was immediately comfortable with her demeanor and skillset. Experiencia fantástica: We went into Tatu on 7/12/24 to get our 3 year old daughters ears pierced. Shanna and Molly provided amazing customer experience, they were incredibly personable, and great with kids. I can’t imagine having anyone else having done her piercings and received a better experience. The shop was clean, they were very thorough in explaining everything as they were going to do it, prior, during, and aftercare. My wife got her nose pierced after hand and received just as wonderful of an experience. Hands down 5/5 experience. Anyone who visits here won’t regret it!

Experiencia fantástica: I took my two daughters and myself for piercings and Molly & Lexie were amazing! My 5 year old wanted her ears pierced and they were fantastic with her, even though she decided against it in the end. My older daughter (12) got a second set of ear piercings and loves them, and I got my Monroe piercing redone and it looks fantastic and is healing great! I would absolutely recommend them for piercings. They were great with my kids and I'm glad I got my daughters ears done properly at a place that explained proper aftercare.

Experiencia negativa: Each time we have been for a piercing, or have a peircing switched out we are told 20- 30 minute wait. It's never been less than 2 hours wait. One time the girl that does the piercings never even showed up and we had waited 2 hours for her. Just ridiculous. If it's going to be a couple hours, just say so ahead of time so we aren't just sitting waiting.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in to let Damien do a tattoo for me. He nailed the design I was looking for! The shop was very clean and the staff were very nice. I will definitely be going back for more ink soon. I also got to see the work of other artists that day. They were all just incredible! One of the tattoos that someone got was a portrait. It looked exactly like the photo.

Experiencia negativa: Called ahead on a Thursday to make sure they did piercings for A little girl on Friday and they said "yes, we have two piercers available so both ears can get pierced at the same time" My intention was to take my daughter there for her 8th birthday present and they said they could accommodate us. We showed up and waited outside for 45 minutes. When we got up to the desk they said sorry nobody under the age of 10. I informed them that I'd spoken to somebody yesterday who said eight was fine and they said well somebody must have called in because we're not doing anybody under the age of 10 today. No sign up saying this was the case for this particular day, no regard for the appointment time that we set up, and telling them that it was her birthday and this was the one thing that she wanted for her birthday which is why we scheduled it for that day had no impact on the very rude receptionist. For a place with such a high review and advertising piercings for little ones as young as 2 years old I would not recommend this place to anybody

Experiencia fantástica: I would 100% recommend this tattoo shop to anyone! Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable through the entire process (tattoo or piercing). Keri did my tattoo today and did a phenomenal job and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! I also met a couple of the other tattoo artist and the piercer Sarah. If you’re in the area and want some ink or piercing therapy go to these guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely loved this place!! Got my first tattoo with John who was absolutely amazing, super nice guy and made sure I was okay throughout the entire visit. Also got 2 piercings with Sarah and she was also the best! She made me feel comfortable even when getting a more private piercing 10/10❤️

Experiencia positiva: Love the atmosphere of the shop, everyone is super friendly, just wish I had a different piercer! Got a monroe piercing the girl, not sure her name, screwed it up. It was too angled and I can't wear the standard 8mm length bar, so have to wear a 10mm bar which isn't the norm so not the easiest to find and the jewel sits on an angle and it just looks bad. Piercer gave me this excuse that "they're supposed to point up when it's freshly pierced" which I know isn't true. I don't want to give up on my piercing but feel like I might have to. If I do, and decide to get it repierced, will be going somewhere else to not risk getting her again.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 6 year old daughters in to see Sarah today to get their ears pierced. Both were nervous and Sarah was phenomenal with them from start to finish. She put me and the girls at ease and really worked with the girls on understanding what was going to happen and making sure that they were making a decision that they were comfortable with. Sarah and Lexi pierced both ears at the same time so that the girls only had to experience the poke once and my girls are thrilled. I even went back the same day and got my septum pierced and Sarah followed up with the girls to see how they were feeling and asked if they had any questions for her that they had not thought of earlier. Her knowledge is clearly expert level and it was the most thorough and comfortable piercing experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend Sarah enough for your kids and/or yourself.

She’s so full of knowledge and making sure he knew everything he needed to know to have the best healing process. She even was the lucky gal that got to deal with me being a crybaby attempting to get my nose ring back in. She was such a sweet soul and can’t wait to get pierced again.

We walked through in and was greeted by a sweet girl with a friendly smile who helped us get the process started,, My sister had an appointment with shawn, he did so amazing I was talking about getting one and he did it right there. He is so gentle handed I would definitely choose him for a tattoo,, especially lettering(that man can make it look like the font itself.)I am beyond satisfied I will be a client of shawn’s forever!

I have my double helix, conch, three lob, both side of my nose, labret, and belly. Definitely never going to anyone else for my piercings! We love how they have her a choice and how they explained the process to her as well as the after care. They treated her with so much respect which made the experience even better!

Experiencia fantástica: Got my daith and my daughter (13) got her lobes pierced by Sarah. I have 8 piercings, this was my first at Tatu with Sarah. She is absolutely the best piercer I have been to. She is gentle and explains the entire process which eased my daughter’s anxiety. We will definitely be going back to Sarah for future piercings.

She was super knowledgeable about both the services and aftercare. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and was super personable. I've gotten my snake bites , septum , and a daith done there and all have healed beautifully. I regularly stop in for jewelry changes. I saw Sarah Jean today and she's just amazing. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always came here for piercing whether it’s on my ear lobe or my nose piercing and they’ve been amazing. But today Molly went above & beyond. She was so sweet and comforting through the entirety of the process even complimenting me when SHES the prettiest sweetest being! She was very professional and informative regarding the piercing and my sensitive ears. She kept her environment clean & was overall the best. 11/10 experience I would definitely recommend if you’re getting your first piercing with her! Hopefully I see her soon!

I had to wait a little while to get some help with a new piercing but once I got back to the room with Sarah I didn’t even care about the wait anymore, she was sooo sweet!! Experiencia fantástica: Took my 11 year old daughter to get her ears pierced today. She has sensory issues, ASD+ADHD and struggles to remain still, but she really wanted to get her ears pierced and has talked about it for 2+ years. Shanna and Sara (not sure on spelling, sorry) were absolutely amazing. They were knowledgable, had great suggestions on what type of earrings would be best since she wears headphones frequently, and were not pushy. They asked my daughter for consent 3 times and told her she did not have to do it if she did not want to. They did both ears in tandem and were calm and quick. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Sarah has also pierced me multiple times and she does magnificent work as well, the staff overall very friendly and helpful .

The piercer I had today was Sarah, and she was extremely nice, and very thorough with explaining the entire process, as well as aftercare. She made the whole experience easy, and stress free. I truly do not have any complaints about this place and I highly recommend it! I have not been disappointed the 3 times I have been here.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter and I got lobe piercings today. We interacted with several from the staff, and everyone was so lovely. Molly did our piercings and she is one of the most precious human beings I’ve ever seen. She was so nurturing and informative to my 12 year old. My daughter hasn’t been able to stop talking about how great she was all day. This was her first time at a tattoo/ piecing shop and I she had such an amazing time. Molly took her time as well; going over the jewelry options, ensuring the piercings were as symmetrical as possible, etc. The shop itself is very clean, and Molly had a great practice with making sure everything was sanitized and clean for us. If I could give more than 5 stars; I would.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited Tatu for the first time today. My plan was to upgrade my Daith piercing & discuss pricing for a tattoo idea I've wanted to finish for the last 3 years or so. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my prior research of the best tattoo/piercing place near me actually turned out to be this place. The receptionist was really nice. She listened to what my goals were & got me connected to the perfect artists to meet my goals. I first met with John Q. He helped me bring my DREAM tattoo to Life. After doing the rough draft & discussing pricing, he left to draw up the final creation. While waiting, I met with Ashley. She was very knowledgeable & relatable. She helped me find a piece of jewelry that would be stylish yet sustainable & I decided to enter my Reputation Era prior to the new album being released. I Love my new Daith ring & I'm OBSESSED with my Beauty & The Beast themed tattoo. Before & After pics attached as well as one of my new Daith Jewelry. Thank you TATU! I plan to return to them for all future piercing & tattoo needs! (Fresh tattoo/2 hrs old..- shading may look a bit dark, but it'll fade to look natural over time) **Update: I went back today & had John Q refresh the rose & now my DREAM tattoo is officially complete. Seeing it truly come to life made me really emotional. ❤️
