Experiencia fantástica: Took my daughter in on Friday the 13th for a nose piercing for her 18th birthday the staff was awesome very accommodating and made her feel very comfortable, came back on her birthday for her first tattoo and again the staff was awesome!! Will definitely be back!! Thank you guys for a great first tattoo experience.

Experiencia negativa: I feel my tattoo was a bit overpriced for the simplicity of the design being a circle and 2 straight lines with 4 four letter words being $140 pluss tip and then not quite having proper fill in

Experiencia fantástica: Just got the cutest tattoo done by Serenity! I also got some flash tattoos done by Crash on Friday the 13th and they’re absolutely perfect, super clean work. My boyfriend got tattooed by Damon too, they hit it off really well and he loves his tattoo. All staff and artists I met were very funny, personable, professional, and great at what they do. I will definitely be coming back here!

Experiencia fantástica: I didn’t get pierced here but I had a piercing that was constantly flaring up and getting irritated to the point I was afraid of infection. I came in to check with a piercer if I should get it removed and although they said yes, they told me that if I wished to keep it I could try their sea salt spray solution that works for washing piercings. And listen, I normally don’t buy stuff from piercers because it’s overpriced and doesn’t work better than regular store-bought stuff but I was incredibly desperate so I gave in quick and 2 weeks after, there’s no bump on my piercing anymore! It’s genuinely their holy grail and they’re super friendly and cool about it too, I’d recommend this place to anyone. :)

Experiencia negativa: I got a tattoo done here and I paid around $90 for a single butterfly (no color and no details just line work) and I didn’t like how it looked, so I went back inside and was discreetly trying to let the people at the front desk know that I wasn’t feeling it too much. Let’s just say by the end of my visit the whole shop knew what was going on. I had people all around me and I felt that I was put in a very uncomfortable situation. The manager told me I could get my tattoo fixed, which I did. I ended up getting it fixed by Carlos he proceeded to whisper to me, “Man you shouldn’t have went to the manager that’s not cool you could’ve came to me”. 1. I didn’t even know who I was speaking to at the time was the manager and 2. I just felt like the situation was handled very unprofessionally. I already decided I’m never going back. Their prices are ridiculous and overall just very unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: I've gotten several tattoos from Damon, and I've been happy with EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very easy going. The place is clean and every artist is professional. They really take the time to make sure that you're getting what you paid for. A big shout out to Damon and his mentor Crash. You can't go wrong with this place.

My piercer finished both of my piercings quickly and they look great and are healing perfectly. Experiencia negativa: Staff was nice unfortunately after two days of having my tattoo there is so many things wrong with it. I couldn’t tell at the time bc they were closing. Dug way too deep into my skin and very uneven, shaky lines,and can see all the mess ups. Not satisfied at all. I even tipped decent to apologize coming in a hr before close.

Experiencia negativa: I went to infamous Inc. last month to get my second earlobe piercings. I asked for gold. Within a few days, my ears were green, and my jewelry has rusted and turned green. I now have Infected piercing holes.

Experiencia positiva: The two women at the desk were super kind and helpful, helping me get setup with an artist as a walk-in. I think for sure, had i inspected the tattoo a bit more before leaving, I would’ve told the artist where I thought it could’ve maybe been done better. Mind the glare from the hair on my skin but, I do think it’s odd that the two upper half’s of the heart aren’t filled in all the way, leaving space between the red ink and the black lining. I could see if maybe it was intentional, but even then, the sides aren’t filled in symmetrically. There’s also a random black ink dot sitting at the top of the left hand side. I promise that’s no weird birthmark of mine. My last nitpick is that on the bottom of the “V” shaped part of heart, the line on the right hand side isn’t all that straight like the left side is. I got this tattoo in jest, so these things don’t really bother me as much as they have the potential to, I do just think that they are worth noting. Still a decent experience overall :)

Experiencia negativa: I went to get my tongue pierced with my friend and seen the piercer was a girl that had previously pierced my friends nasal ring wayyyy above the dot so I was nervous and honestly it’s probably my fault i didnt just leave then but she did my friends piercings first and they came out good but then she did my tounge ring and pierced it above the dot and to the right making it way to far back and just ugly. after this experience I told my friends about it and they told me horror stories about her also messing up there piercings like hitting the nerve of my other friends tounge and causing him to have a seizure and his tongue turned temporarily black… i dont know im js saying yall be careful getting piercings there bc she never actually pierces the dot

Experiencia negativa: I don’t know if this place was recently bought by someone else or just a bunch of new staff but really disappointed in this place after years of being a customer. This was my go to spot for the past 8+ years for piercings and jewelry. I no longer live in Waco and drive over an hour when I come through so I usually call before heading out to confirm what they have. The person who did my latest piercing said at least twice before doing it “sorry, I really do know what I am doing” after almost piercing my ear and realizing she had forgotten something multiple times and going back and forth from my ear to her shelves. She also had already put her gloves on and proceeded to touch multiple things with said gloves on before finally piercing me. She also assured me that the paper towel that was out “had not been used and was clean” which wasn’t something I questioned until she mentioned it. The blonde front lady was unhelpful this last time I tried to come in. She said they could do flat back nostril jewelry and told me they had silicone tunnels for stretched ears. I asked to be sure before I came in and she said “we have thousands of jewelry options, I am not going to go through and tell you exactly what we have but I can say we absolutely will have silicone for stretched ears.” The flat backs they had are for ears, no where near small enough for basic sized nostrils. And the piercer proceeded to tell me they “don’t make flat backs for 18g and 20g” which is absolutely not true. It just seems you don’t order them. And no, they didn’t have silicone tunnels or any silicone for stretched ears. They made me come into the shop and wait almost 20 minutes to tell me they didn’t have what I wanted after I had been told they did have it. Needless to say, I will be ordering from Urban BodyJewelry and/or making my trek to Dallas in the future.

At a follow-up, I watched them refuse tattoo service to an underage even though his mom was there and "well, another place did it." So? We also spent a long time finding the right piece of jewelry fit for me, and they were really patient through that. So yeh. 5/5

Experiencia fantástica: Took my daughter here today for a nose & rook piercing. The lady at the front (I think she's the manager) was very nice & welcoming. I have always heard good things about the quality of the tattoos here so when my daughter said she wanted these two piercings I thought of this place immediately. The piercer was very knowledgeable. I had a few questions about whether the anatomy of my daughter's ear (she has small ears) would allow for a rook & eventually an industrial on the opposite ear and the way she answered the question made me trust that she knew what she was talking about. If you're looking for excellent quality & great customer service definitely give Infamous Ink a try you won't be disappointed!

Experiencia negativa: I stopped by the shop on 7/5/24 as soon as they opened with two pictures of the tattoo I wanted since I don't have Instagram or FB. The shop manager explained to me that one was AI and there was no way they could do that much detail because once it healed it would blob over (completely understandable). BOTH pictures were a half butterfly/half wing made of daises which I then showed the artist (Emily). Emily told me she could do it and to send her the images via Gmail so she could recreate it. We set on an appointment for Tuesday 7/9/24 at 5 pm and I paid a deposit. She told me once I arrive we would just do final details and could get started. Come 7/9 when I get there she tells me, "Let me go pull up some images and you can pick what you like." Emily brought up some Google images of COMPLETELY different flowers than the ones I had sent her an image of. She stated the picture I sent her was "blurry" which even if that was the case I showed her in person and she had all of Friday and Saturday to re request the image as I have the timestamp of when I sent it to her (7/5 at 1:39 pm). I was literally just expecting almost the same image with a little less detail/flowers since the the shop manager had said they could not do that much detail! Emily had nothing ready for us when we arrived to our appointment time and after about an hour of her trying to "recreate" the image she says she can't do it and tries to pass us on to another artist. So at 6pm we leave, I try to go back in for my deposit back since it was not honored properly and they treated me like a walk in basically. The manager talks me out if it though saying Carlos can do the tattoos (sister tattoos) and he texts me. He apologizes, and was truly great, but when he asks when I can reschedule, we both couldn't come up with a good date because I am a grad student in the last 3 weeks of summer classes and have SO much going on and he said he was working on a big project/tattoo for that weekend. I tell him let's try for next Tuesday which I then messaged him on 7/15 to tell him I can't come in due to having to go out of town to work with my partner on a group project. I tell him let's try for Friday but by this time I just feel like the whole process is a hassle (i had set an appointment, my deposit was not honered and it just felt so overwhelming having to reschedule when as a grad student i dont have much time) and I start looking for other shops. From my experience I would not bother putting down a deposit as you'll just be treated like a walk in anyway. I also second a comment on here that states, "If you're not all tatted up, they'll treat you like you're stupid." I may not be all tatted up but my sister and I do both have ONE tattoo from Infamous (mine from 10 years ago when I turned 18) but I will never be getting another one here. Thank God for new shops opening up in Waco!! Editing this to respond to the shop managers comment: My "vibe" and my tattoo was SIMPLE...I am a simple person and I made sure to CLEARLY communicate what I wanted in regards to my tattoo at our initial meeting (clearly she forgot over the weekend). I showed her TWO images that were very similar. One had an ugly butterfly wing and I made sure to tell her I do not like that wing, I want a wing like this with daises (since the pic I showed had "too much detail"). She could have taken 30 minutes out of her Friday and Saturday that she was at work to make sure she had an image ready for me when I arrived. On top of being a grad student I am a TEACHER so I know very well that we should not work outside our scheduled hours bit of course I do. Carlos had TWO days Tuesday and Wednesday (7/16 and 7/17) to respond while at work before I messaged him again today 7/18 and tell him I decided to go with another shop due to no response. The LEAST they could do is give me a refund on the deposit I made since clearly she put in no effort to make sure my image was "recreated" like she stated until we arrived. My design was simple and she blew it. There goes the $600 you were going to charge.

It was a last minute thing we just walked in checked in and Crash was my Artist he was so nice and I did mention to him it was my first tatt so he took care of me so well he talked to me and had me distracted so I won't feel the pain which I really didn't it was more of a sting here and there I got my Brothers last heartbeat so this tattoo ment a lot to me at the end I loved it Thank you so much Crash I will definitely be coming back for 2 more

He took his time drawing the tattoo exactly as my stepson wanted it, and took extra care making sure the placement was perfect. Liked his work so much, we’ve commission two more tattoos from him! Can’t wait to get them!

Anyway, my pa passed away a few years ago and recently I found his signature on some old papers. Steve helped me realize what I wanted by patiently taking me through different options and I appreciate that so much bc I hadn't know I could do that. Thank you so much for being so great.

Experiencia negativa: I have had all but one of my piercings done with infamous ink and have never had a bad experience but recently I came in to have my labret ring removed for a passport photo. Removal was easy and comfortable and I had no problems. I came back later to have a new ring put in and was met with a long wait (which I expect coming to infamous- high quality yields high demand) but the jewelry they used on me was a captive bead hoop that they pried closed without the bead. All felt fine and I paid for the jewelry and left. A few weeks later it became irritated and swelled but had no room which only made it worse. I went to a different tattoo shop (also highly reputable) and they were offended by how infamous ink had left me. She began to explain how a captive bead hoop should never be used on a lip because of the sizing and especially shouldn’t be made smaller without the bead. My lip had ripped down the center and segmented into two half’s and I would have needed to go to the er had I left it for a couple more weeks. I was advised to never come back to infamous, because no knowledgeable piercer would’ve let me walk out with a nose ring on my lip. Infamous is expensive and waits are long, understandable for high quality but unacceptable now realizing I was not getting the quality and knowledge reviews claim. Very sad to be writing such a negative review about one of my favorite waco businesses :(

Experiencia negativa: One day, I came in with a group of my girlfriends who had been there before. I was treated fine and didn't really get to talk to any staff. But the experience was fine, went to accompany a friend to a tattoo. However, I went in by myself the following day because my septum ring had fallen out, and I lost it. So I needed to buy another. I asked to get one out of the case, and she said the piercer would be with me in a moment. I told her I didn't need it pierced. She asked me more than 5 times in different ways if I was sure I did not need it pierced. I've had a septum ring for over 5 years. Finally, she says that the piercer needs to "size me." I go back to the room. She looks at me for all of two seconds before giving me the biggest septum ring I have ever seen. That did not fit my anatomy and was not measured to me at all. I paid 15$ for the ugliest septum ring I've ever seen. All while they wouldn't listen to a single word out of my mouth. If you come here with regulars or a group of people. You're fine. However, if you come alone and aren't covered in piercings and tattoos. They will treat you like you're stupid.

Experiencia fantástica: Place was amazing, the woman at the front desk was so welcoming and you could tell she knew what she was talking about. Me and my girlfriend both got tattoos by Emily and they came out perfect. The whole experience and all the artists were so fun.
