Patrick at the front desk was incredibly helpful, taking the time to walk us through everything and even setting up our appointment for the very next day, despite it being so close to closing time. The following day, Bryce was our artist. He was knowledgeable, patient, and more than willing to adjust the size, refine the details, and add the colors we decided on at the last minute. Throughout the appointment, Bryce made sure both my niece and I were comfortable, checking in regularly to see if we needed anything and ensuring we were happy with every step of the process. He truly made the experience enjoyable. The shop was spotless, and we appreciated being able to watch the setup process—something other places I’ve been to didn’t allow. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I’m already planning to get two more tattoos in the next few months, and I’ll definitely be going back to Bryce!

We had a hard time finding someone comfortable piercing a little one’s ears, and from the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease. What made it even more special is that this was for my daughter’s birthday, and Desi truly helped make the day unforgettable. Her patience, kindness, and professionalism really stood out. I’m so grateful we found her — we couldn’t have asked for a better first ear-piercing experience!

Experiencia negativa: I had a bad experience with this studio’s manager. I got a $50 Friday the 13th tattoo on 2/13, but they mistakenly charged me $100, and after calling they are refusing to fix it by adjusting the charge to $50. They’re saying I “booked through the wrong link” even though I was in the shop with the front desk guy when I booked the tattoo on 2/13 minutes before getting my tattoo (he was very lovely, he really made our night great). I do love my tattoo - Camille was amazing and laughed at all my wife’s bad jokes. So thank you for that. But unfortunately I just can’t stand a “bait and switch” or when people can’t treat each other like humans and instead use technology as an excuse to capitalize on more revenue.

I walked in without an appointment since I was traveling alone on vacation, and they still treated me with so much patience, professionalism, and great energy. Bryce took the time to truly understand what I wanted, and the result turned out even better than I imagined. His talent and dedication show in every detail. I needed a cover up on my forearm and was also nervous about how it would turn out. She was so nice and I loved how much she loved what we were tattooing. She gave me plenty of breaks and even though it was a long day, she and the receptionist Sam were so accommodating; making sure I didn’t need water or candy or anything else. Experiencia positiva: Really awesome crew at this location. Bryce did a great job on matching tattoos for my friend and I, and everyone seemed happy to be at work. I found the scheduling process to be a little cumbersome due to multiple different points of contact and automated directories, in the end we got an appointment booked so that was fine. The only other thing that seemed odd was our appointment was set for 11am on a Saturday (we arrived at 11:01) and our artist was not ready to go until after 12pm. Once he was though, he was a pleasure to talk with and did great work. If we lived in CO we would definitely come back. Another positive thing was that we were able to get second skin re-applied the next day after the initial layers came off in the crowd at Space Laces that night!

Experiencia negativa: I went here I believe back in 2023, so few years back. I still remember how upset I was literally a week after I got my tattoo, I started to overthink of how much I would have gotten more from the amount I paid... Look at the tattoo and think if that was actually worth $600.... It is a line work tattoo with not much details in it. When I set up my appointment, I spoke to this lady on the phone, showed her the art and asked for a price, given that this was my first time getting one, I wasn't really good at prices, and so I said I can do $600 for a LARGE tattoo, that can extend all the way down my back. It is a line simple tattoo and I asked to get my back covered with it. The day of the appointment, the tattoo artist unfortunately didn't have a larger printer? to print the tattoo so she printed the tattoo on a regular printer paper which was 2x smaller size than what I was asking for.... and I had NO choice but to agree with it... I could not even think straight at the time because I was only focused on the excruciating pain I was going to endure. The tattoo took about 2 hours.... 2 hours for $600 is actually insane, given that this was a simple tattoo, and it wasn't even the size I was asking for. I asked specifically to get my back covered and I didn't get what I want because I didn't know the shop has "complications". The one thing I am more upset about is literally the size, this was the reason why I offered $600. But the shop didn't deliver what was promised. This was my first time ever, I had no friends or experts to tell me what to expect and literally advice me. So I put trust to the person on the phone and the tattoo artist and I think that's where I messed up, because I felt like I was taken advantage for... I am happy to how it turned out, but thinking about it, this tattoo isn't worth $600 for how small it is and the less details it has and it only took about 2 hours. The lady on the phone even knew it... I suggest doing hourly instead, because then you can actually get your money's worth by time. It's been 2 years and here I am still upset about it, knowing I could have gone somewhere else, or possibly if I was more experienced in getting tattoo's, things would have been different. Bring a friend, talk to an expert. And when I mean expert, don't talk to the shop or tattoo artists, talk to experienced people that gets tattoos because they are the ones that knows how to play with prices.

Experiencia fantástica: My partner and I were celebrating our commitment to each other and wanted to immortalize it with ink. We decided on Certified Tattoo after first meeting their artists at the annual Juneteenth celebration and again at the Denver Tattoo Convention, where we were impressed by their presence and professionalism. When we explained our idea to the front desk staff, they recommended Camille, and we are so glad they did! From the very beginning, Camille stood out. The moment her name came up, she personally came to greet us, welcomed us warmly into the space, and sat with us to really listen. We explained the size, colors, meaning, and the personal significance of our tattoos—plus the tight deadline we were working with—and she immediately reassured us that it was no problem. Camille designed two similar tattoos for us—connected in theme, but unique to each of us. We booked what we thought would be a single full-day session, but the tattoos ended up taking two days to complete. Camille was incredibly understanding about our deadline and rearranged her busy schedule to fit us in the very next day so we could finish. That kind of commitment meant the world to us. A very important note for us as melanated people: not everyone with a tattoo machine knows how to properly work with our skin. Camille is excellent with melanated skin. Our tattoos healed beautifully—no raised, scarred, or keloid skin at all. She is gentle, patient, and incredibly empathetic. At one point, when my skin had had enough and became painful, she was so kind and understanding, which made the experience much easier to get through. We loved her work so much that my partner came back the following week for a memorial tattoo, and we even brought our daughter for her very first tattoo—done by Camille, of course. This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Camille is not only a talented artist but also respectful, compassionate, and deeply skilled at her craft. We cannot recommend her enough and don’t plan on letting anyone else touch our skin besides her. If you’re looking for an artist who is professional, creative, and truly cares about her clients, Camille at Certified Tattoo is the one.

The person at the front talked to my oldest daughter about apprenticeship/tattoo academy/school that was offered. Which is very interesting.

He took into account that the tattoo was my 1st tattoo and a very special one. I will highly recommend not only Dustin but everyone at Certified Tattoo.
