I called less than a week out with a tiny window of availability, a fluctuating headcount, and designs that were basically shape-shifting in real time… all to honor my nephews’ and niece’s fathers. As their aunt, I made a promise and this shop made it happen. Huge thanks to Derek for the beautiful, meaningful work, and to Anne and Sean for calmly coordinating what could’ve been chaos. Ultra Shade tattoo shop promised to finish the work for what I’d already paid then demanded more money out of money and essentially wouldn’t finish the work. Chuck took me last minute, made it look better than the other artists work and didn’t even charge me as much as he could have if he wanted to. He did me a solid just cause another shop did my dirty but he didn’t owe me that and it’s appreciated

Experiencia fantástica: i got a custom tattoo of my own art, featuring an existing character by the name of moomin. it was my very first tattoo ever, on my 19th birthday, and i couldnt ask for a better experience. it was very clean, straightforward, and quick. it barely hurt (which i was very grateful for). im on day 2 of healing and i am keeping the initial bandage on until the 1st of october. but so far, so good, and it looked incredible from the moment the artist, chuck, finished the final line. thank you guys!! Yeah no thanks. Very unprofessional imo. Oh well taking my business else where.

All of us worked with different artists, all of us left extremely happy. Great experience and beautiful tattoos. Each artist was very personable and collaborative which made it a fun experience for us all. The only thing different about this shop is the 1:1 time with your artist (which can be both great and not so when you go with a “party”) other than the time at the desk our group was seperate the whole time. No plus 1 allowed in the rooms. It would have been nice to check in on my mom/ sister when one of us finished before the others, but it definitely wasn't a high price to pay for a great piece of artwork. Definitely my new favorite piece and I'm excited to go back when I'm ready to add on.

My original artist is no longer there, so Derrick was my artist who helped me out this time! I would add a photo my before and after photo, but the color added was yellow, and it won’t really show up until my current tan fades in the fall.
