Fantastic experience: i can’t say enough good things about louie. i hate needles (like full on pass out from anxiety)… louie made me feel comfortable from the moment i walked in. he was patient, calm, reassuring, & somehow managed to keep things light without minimizing how nervous i was. this tattoo meant the world to me. louie took his time, made sure every detail was right, & talked me through the entire process. i even asked about numbing cream and instead of making me feel dumb/dramatic, he explained everything honestly & helped me power through without it. (it was a very small tattoo but again, total needlephobe here!) the shop was clean & welcoming. louie’s energy made the experience so much easier than i ever expected. what i thought would be something i barely survived ended up being something really meaningful & positive. if you’re nervous or just want an artist who genuinely cares about both his work & the person in the chair, louie is your guy. i’m so grateful i trusted him with something this important.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience here. I came to get my peircing fixed because another shop had completely butchered my ear. I walked in and they assisted me right away. They were honest with me and so patient. They did the peircing the right way and it looks amazing now. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I had the peircing on my cartilage done. They were so fast and precise and the woman who did my peircing is incredibly nice and patient.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to sick ink because I needed to switch pretty fresh piercings that I had gotten elsewhere for plastic for surgery. They were FANTASTIC! The father-daughter-duo was accommodating, kind and patient. I was so impressed and they made a really stressful situation for me into a non-issue. I am so grateful. I wasn’t planning any more (post op) piercings but they were so great that now I’m trying to decide what piercing I should get next. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old daughter got her Ears Pierced. The place is awesome. Definitely would go back, very cool vibes. The Piercer was very professional and my wife called her very sweet.

Negative experience: Honesty is key. I ended up getting three piercings here. Two cartilages and one tragus . When I came in I originally wanted 3 cartilages but changed my mind in the room. the lady was very rude about it and gave a big sigh saying that’s not a cartilage it’s a tragus piercing which is completely different. I just sucked it up and kept it going. She was heavy handed doing my piercing. Never asking if I wanted titanium, hypoallergenic or basic piercing. My ear swelled up so bad bc she put a super short bar in for my cartilage. My ear had no space to swell so I had to have an ER doc remove it and replaced it when another bar from my previous earring appointment somewhere else. My ear could’ve got infected bc they don’t know how to treat people, lack of proper technique and understanding on how different people might swell during their healing process. I am a nurse so thank goodness I knew how to help my self. Saved my ear. Don’t recommend due to this incident.

The studio was clean, professional, and welcoming — everything you'd want when trusting someone with your child’s first piercing. The piercer used sterile, high-quality equipment and followed all safety protocols carefully. The actual piercing was quick and smooth, and our little one had only a few tears! Aftercare instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and we were encouraged to reach out with any questions or concerns. I can’t recommend this place enough for parents considering ear piercing for their young child. It was a positive, memorable experience from start to finish. Thank you for making it so special for us!

Negative experience: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE My Aunt and cousin just went to sick ink for a piercing and they were both hispanic (this would be their second time there, the first time they did service them, my cousin got a belly piercing), tried their best with their English and the lady that was in the front desk was not being very helpful. Refused service because she wanted to see a birth certificate, lets keep in mind they are not from this country, they are visiting. My aunt brought her id and my cousin’s passport. She was being dry and not even paying mind to them! Thank you for nothing!

Fantastic experience: Idk why this place as anything lower than 5 stars. We took our 8 year old to get her first lobe piercings and the piercer was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and sweet to our daughter. She then pierced my nose and my friend got her cartilage. They are very kid-friendly, everything was very clean and sterile, she was super sweet and patient and made our daughter feel very comfortable and she took it like a champ! And my nose (second hole) was smooth like butter. Definitely recommend this place if you need a piercing.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. The shop has a very cool vibe and super clean. Amanda pierced my tragus and it matches perfectly with the one I had done 20 years ago on the other side. Their jewelry selection is impressive. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Got my belly button re-pierced here and it’s been about two weeks since I have had it done. The top ball has now started to sink into the piercing. I’m a pretty understanding and reasonable person and just figured it may be my anatomy (although the first time I had my belly button pierced this never happened). I took a look at the reviews and now see that a week ago this happened to another client and the shop would not help her which is incredibly concerning. Do not recommend. Update: DO NOT GO HERE. Just tried to get my piercing fixed at another shop and they explained to me that it was a surface level piercing and not properly placed AT ALL. I now have what looks to be an open wound. The shop that I went to said they have MANY clients coming in from Sick Ink with the same issues - there obviously is a training/qualification issue. Beware.

Negative experience: i don’t normally leave reviews but if i could give 0 stars i would, i got my belly button pierced here and the bar they used was too short and even after i called and went back they wouldn’t help me and said it was fine. it wasn’t, the top ball was almost completely in my skin and the bottom one was about 1/3 and it was very painful almost constantly. i had to go somewhere else and they fixed it within minutes(@porupinepiercing). They also said said they used one of the longest bars they had, it was 10 mm and the new one i had to get is 14 mm sooo im gonna say definitely not. i was excited to get my piercing and i ended up having an terrible experience that im still having to deal with.

Negative experience: Place looks cute and clean, but staff does not give quite the same vibe. I have been to other piercing/tattoo shops that practice more intentional, careful, and mindful work. After my experience here, I cannot say the same about this location. You also cannot ask genuine questions without getting some sort of funny/jokey response first - after a few questions being answered this way, I stopped asking because it didn't feel like I was being taken seriously and that's frustrating. I know some people like to be funny to ease tension but when you feel like you can't ask a question and get a straight response, it feels like playing games. I also did not see the jewelry being sterilized or was told it was sterilized. It could have been (or it could not have been) - I wouldn't know either way. Other shops I have been to have explicitly told me when the jewelry was sterilized and ready to go which helps in trusting them. If you want fast, cheap piercings and you are the kind of person who doesn't question things, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place that is patient, understanding, willing to listen and answer your questions without making you feel like a dingus, I would look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I came in with a henna-jewel style tattoo on the top of my foot that was done way too light with another artist and it needed to be way darker to be seen. Luis made sure it was done correctly and with precision, it looks great and Ive gotten several compliments now that it can be seen!

Fantastic experience: My daughter got her 2nd ear piercing today. I Believe the guys name is Jeff. He was very welcoming, nice, did a good job with the placing of her piercing. Made great conversation with us. He was very professional. I 100% recommend.

Negative experience: Got my rook pierced back in October I believe. $75. The girl was very quick and unprofessional. She choose a barbell that was way too short to accommodate for swelling in my ear. I went back a week or so later, my ear was super swollen and the girl gaslit me and told me it was fine. I ended up getting a gold jewelry put in. Another $55. Fast forward a month or so, the jewelry broke on the bottom. I went to regular Sick Ink, the girl there was nice but had an attitude about giving me a new ring. She did end up changing it for me and giving me one for free. Fast forward a couple more months, the SECOND earring broke. I went back to sick ink, they told me since it’s been months I have to pay another $55 for another ring. This place is an absolute joke. I ended up gluing the earring after trying multiple times to put the ring back on, but it broke. The picture is the first piece of jewelry she put in where you can clearly tell my ear is swollen and pushing up against the balls. If you are reading this, hit up piercings by angi in Bethlehem she is so good and professional. Also good pricing and jewelry.

Negative experience: Girls were very rude and unfriendly. God forbid you have a question. Did not respond to email. Horrible customer service.

Negative experience: I’ve been here twice now and both times I’ve had some real trouble with my piercing healing process. The first time was my forward helix which eventually healed. Last weekend I got my tragus done and the flat back was so short that they used that my piercing completely embedded in my ear. I messaged them on Facebook as soon as it started and they responded quickly which is awesome, but they advised me to take something for the swelling and ice it. By the next day you couldn’t even see the jewelry. It was so incredibly painful. I had to get it removed by another piercing shop and they were astonished as the size of the flatback the post was SO short, shorter then the smallest one the have (which isn’t used for healing) What I will say is the shop is so cute, the staff is incredibly kind and friendly. I feel super comfortable with them. She even helped me change a piece of jewelry I was struggling to get out for awhile. I won’t be coming back for a piercing again, but I’ve heard great things about their other services. Here’s some pictures just to show the intensity, when I got it done, then 6 days later and last 7 days later.

Negative experience: I got my dahlia bites done here at a discounted price for an event. I was given jewelry that was way too small for my face. When I went back to get a longer bar, they advised me not to because it would give it more room to swell? They saw that I had no space even when I opened my mouth which is absolutely not supposed to happen. I ended up getting my second lobes done and the piercer who did them pierced them at the wrong angle and the jewelry started embedding forward into my ear. I had both of these looked at by 3 different piercers. Unfortunately these people have no idea what they are doing unless it's a more common type of piercing/mod from what I've seen. Please do not go here for piercings.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful shop! Decor is beautiful, the girl working there (forget her name, so sorry) was very educated and welcoming. My daughter got her vertical labret done here for her 17th birthday a week ago. Piercing was done quickly, very symmetrical, and is healing beautifully. We will be coming back soon for more. Fantastic experience: Amazing. Got my ear lobe and daith pierced... Then a year later, went back and got my conch done and changed my daith piercing. The woman that did the piercings both times was quick. It didn't hurt. She talked me through the process and explained everything to me. I feel very comfortable and safe there. Will definitely go there again and I tell more people about my experience. 21 days after my 2nd piercing. Had a little mishap with my conch and needed the ball to be replaced. The woman helped me replace it. She did it for free since I had just been there. She was super friendly and understanding. Very happy with my experience again.

Negative experience: I brought my wife to this tattoo shop to surprise her with a tattoo but as we entered we were completely ignored and felt extremely unwelcome and we waited for at least 10 minutes before we decided it was time for us to go since clearly we weren’t wanted there

Negative experience: So to start this off, I have quite a few piercings in my face, so I know my body very well, and how it reacts to them. So tonight me and my boyfriend when in to get our eyebrows pierced, his redone. The first time his bled a tiny bit but nothing crazy, we both expected a bit more this time due to scar tissue. Maya was our piercer, she was so very kind but was very shaky.. While piercing she couldn’t hold her hand still, and dropped the needle on my boyfriends lap. He bled quite a bit, lasting about 5 minutes each eyebrow which was concerning. So then my turn, none of my piercings have ever bled (slightly but never more than a few dabs with a paper towel that couldn’t fix it), not even one’s with clamps, but again when she went to do mine she was so very shaky, the first one was okay, but bled for almost 10 minutes, not exaggerating. The second one was even worse, when she went to pierce my eyebrow, she didn’t secure the clamp and it slipped out and she stabbed me where the dot wasn’t placed. She then proceeded to pull the needle slightly out and finished the needle through, this one bled for almost 15 minutes. I’ve never had a problem getting pierced here until today. I don’t know if she’s new or what, if so I feel like that should have 100% been clarified to us because if that was the case I would have waited for someone else, or went somewhere else, but by the time I walked out of the shop 2 hours after being there, my eyebrow was already almost swallowing the bar. I’ve always been told eyebrow piercings didn’t hurt, from everyone i’ve asked, I have a very high pain tolerance but this one almost had me out for the count. I can’t say that we’ll be going back, and I don’t know if I personally recommend going to her at all:/.

Negative experience: Receptionist couldn’t tell me if she had any openings for today she said I had to come in person drove freaking 30 min from Easton for her to tell me no openings how unprofessional

Negative experience: Everyone shows professionalism except when it comes to the lady answering the phone. Not only is she rude but she delivers bad communication, her information is always wrong she says one thing over the phone and does another once you walk in she is a hot mess and if this is the first person people speak to when coming in that’s going to be a problem .

Negative experience: I used to like them. Paco does great work but this last visit changed my mind about them. Paco is not the problem. Depending on who you talk to you get different prices. They have a credit card machine out but it's cash only. If it's cash only put the machine away. Good work if you want to put up with the attitudes as well. I went elsewhere and am happy, I won't be going back there.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! Very honest people and awesome staff. The artist that i went to, no longer works here and I had a deposit down for a future appointment with him. I went there to collect my deposit and without any issues they were able to provide that to me. I will be back to book a future appointment at this shop. Other artists here are great as well! Looking forward to reviewing artist portfolios.

Positive experience: My friends and I went here because it was kind of a last minute decision to get matching tattoos as one of the group was moving away and they are one of the few in the area to take walk in’s. After some research, the reviews were mixed but I figured I would go and if I got a bad vibe, I could always just go for moral support. I saw them do everything they need as far as cleanliness goes- wiping areas down, opening new packages in front of us, etc. We saw some awards on the walls as well and I was comfortable enough to go through with the tattoo. I will say, the reason I gave 3 stars is because the professionalism and attitude of the artist is important to me. When I walk in and am barely greeted, the artist didn’t even introduce himself before starting, I tried a couple times to ask how long they had been working there/etc and got 2 word answers, the tv is blaring to discourage conversation, and we weren’t allowed to even stand by the counter to talk while our friend was getting work done, all combined to make that part a sour experience for me. I’m so glad I was able to go and have this lasting memory of a meaningful part of my life, but won’t be returning. For others that don’t care about those aspects, they will be fine going here.

Positive experience: Sick Ink was the only open piercer that I could find last minute on a Sunday. Business is clean and I was seen quickly. Piercing procedure/aftercare was explained well. I had my daith and tragus pierced on the same ear. However there is no choice on piercing jewelry. If I had a choice I would not have gotten just the basic ball piece. Price of jewelry was included in the total price. I did not price out other piercing parlors but it did seem that Sick Ink was on the more expensive size, especially for not being able to pick jewelry.

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous I went in and asked if they could do a piercing an hour before they closed and the lady told me no I then proceed to tell her that my daughter wanted to get it done and specifically told her the age and she said all I needed was her school ID and birth certificate, I then go back a day later and have all of this info and she looks at me and says she won’t do the piercing because she’s to young. In the state of pa with a parents consent you are able to get a piercing. I do not live close and that is the second time I had to drive there and for what her to play games

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional tattoo parlor. The manager cursed and threatened me. Cancelled my appointment and wouldn't refund my deposit for a appointment that was scheduled a YEAR away. Practically robbery. They will be hearing from my bank/lawyer. BEWARE FOR FUTURE CUSTOMERS.

Negative experience: Theu double booked and refused to give back the deposit. The work is good, but the business is very unprofessional and will rob you.

Fantastic experience: I went here to go from 12 gauge earrings to 8 gauge. Gabby took care of me and she was awesome!!! Totally painless! And when she was done she explained aftercare perfectly! I totally recommend coming here for any piercing or gauging!

Fantastic experience: Took my teenage daughter for a bellybutton piercing. The girl who did it was absolutely amazing. She was nice and helpful and ADORABLE! The decor is absolutely phenomenal...this place is amazing on the inside you almost don't want to leave. There are so many details that you just want to explore every inch of it. They were busy which to me is a good thing when I'm looking for a piercing/tattoo place. They were clean. Had snacks and drinks. It was an all-around great experience. We'll be back.

Negative experience: My daughter has been to this shop multiple times before. Upon her last visit she went to get nose rings to change her current one. She was approached by a kind man who asked her what she was looking for. She told him she was looking for jewelry for her nose piercing. He made her aware of the fact that the piercing lady was busy and she would help her as soon as she was done. He said that in the mean time to check out some of the jewelry that they were offering. After they conversed he went to the piercing lady and told her that my daughter had been looking to buy some new nose jewelry. Keep in mind that she heard them speaking. After 15 minutes she finally came over and asked her what she wanted. She picked from the options that the guy told her to look at. She tells the lady which piercing she wanted and the lady gets the piercing out of the case. The lady asked her what the piercing was for and she told her it was for her nose. She said okay and checked her out. When my daughter got home she realized that the gauge was too big for her nose and went back in hopes of simply exchanging out the piercing for a smaller gauge considering she paid 60$ for two of them. She called before she went in. When she went in the lady asked her if she got her nose pierced there and she told her yes. She then proceeded to say that the gauge was too big because it was a cartilage piercing and not a nose one. This is the same lady who checked her out previously. This lady wouldn’t let her exchange it or give her her money back after she told her it was for her nose and she just said okay. When I called and spoke to the lady she was just blatantly rude. She tried to lie to me about what happened, told me that she wasn’t going to let her exchange them because then she’d “lose out on the money from the piercings”, and then hung up the phone. She knew what they were for before she checked her out. Do not go here. This was the manager of the store.

Fantastic experience: I went to this place yesterday. I had been thinking for years about getting my tongue redone. I saw they were doing a 50% off all piercings yesterday, so I decided to finally get it redone. Upon walking inside its immaculately clean in there. There atmosphere there is very chill and friendly feeling. I totally forget the lady's name that did my tongue piercing, but she was amazing. I can be kinda nervous in new places and she made me felt me like I've been there before. Experience was dope and I'll definitely be back.

Negative experience: It's been slightly over a year since I've gotten 2 piercings from here and even with proper care, they're still constantly infected and my parents have pointed out that they look crooked.

Fantastic experience: I worked with tattoo apprentice Abbey. She did amazing artwork and I was so so impressed with her portfolio. She does beautiful work and her color art is out of this world. I had a large piece done on my forearm and she worked with our ideas every step of the way. I am getting so many compliments for her art and I am just absolutely in love with my piece. The shop is very clean everything is sterilized and the decor in the in that shop is amazing. Already planning my next piece!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place and great artists. Give them some pictures to design and they won't just slap it together, they will ask you the meaning and history of it and do research themselves to further better your design.

Fantastic experience: Love my artist, Ellen! She was able to get me on the schedule despite being booked into Fall and it was a great time.

Negative experience: Piercer pierced me with a smaller bar and the bar could not come out because the ball was too tight and when I called back to have them remove it they tried to charge me $30

Negative experience: I had a tattoo of 3 straight lines around my hand .. its so simple , but the artist did a messed up job and his name is Barbados.. I think he was new and they just let him tattoo people.. the guy couldn’t even draw a straight line.. I hated this place and I will never recommend it to anyone.

Negative experience: Louis was awesome. Very nice and detailed work. But! The manager during the day, I think she’s also the piercer, is extremely rude. Talks down to you and is very arrogant. The morning receptionist is completely miserable and doesn’t help. She was completely apathetic when I would ask questions regarding my service. Absolutely unhelpful, the statues on the wall were better to talk to tbh. It’s a shame to say that I will not recommend this place to anyone and will tell them how unprofessional the manager and receptionist are because I would definitely go back to Louie.The manger/piercer and receptionist should probably find a different profession, being as that a lot of these bad reviews are clearly about them.

Negative experience: My daughter has an anxiety issue and requested me to be with her during the application of a tattoo. Sick ink would not allow it. Their assurances that "all is well" is unsupported because they did not demonstrate to me, the father, they were equipped to handle a medical emergency, should one occur. Since, the tattoo was prepaid we had no choice but to comply. Sick ink is not equipped to handle medical emergencies and their random policy is unacceptable in this case. The desk clerk first lied and said they were concerned about covid. Nobody was wearing a mask. Then the manager appeared and gave me a hard time over being there at my daughter's request. So, a random policy that does not address any support system, a manager who simply is more interested in a hallow policy than in her clients needs (I believe that is called greed) and who's disposition is far below what would be considered professional. Why? She makes potential and current clients angry by throwing them out. In the Lehigh Valley, there are many other tattoo shops that do not have this unwelcome atmosphere, I would take my business there.

Fantastic experience: I went to get a tattoo in memory of my late brother, Rusty. I had a design of what I wanted. Went in, made my appointment. And while I was there, I got my nose pierced. Small gem!! I love it!! Went for my appointment, and my artist, Chris, took my idea and made it even better. The angel wing is perfect. Just as I imagined. And while my mom was waiting, Snooki, she got her ear pierced at the top!! They loved her!! So, thank you Chris and staff at Sick Ink!! Mom and I had a great experience!!

Fantastic experience: Nat pierced my nose and she was awesome! She was so transparent with me about what was happening and very knowledgeable about aftercare, making sure she covered all bases. Not to mention she was very gentle, and it looks amazing on me! 10/10, Thank you Nat!

Negative experience: Experience was extremely unpleasant! My daughter's first ear peirce.We called ahead on Friday the day before explain to the girl that our daughter is only 7 she said about ids that just walk in no appointment is need . On saturday the day after phone call ,walked in the same girl stated that we needed an appointment ,$20 deposit, and Sundays were the only day for piercing. It took us 40 mins travel there.Cont. to say one person in the building at a time. My daughter is 7. She said you need to be 15 to be in here. Felt super unwelcome and creeped out. We left immediately . I guess our money is not good enough. Horrible. Honestly She looked out of it.I guess that's the luxury of being on McArthur rd. Will be Contacting owner.

Negative experience: What ashame because I really thought highly of this business until today! I came from Brooklyn to take my daughter who lives in Pennsylvania because she doesn't drive for a tattoo and three piercings! We spent a lot of money there $450 besides extra money for tips! The tattoo artist Louis was great and Amanda who did the piercings was super amazing as well! Today I called to talk to Amanda who was not there unfortunately I got a girl named Nat on the phone, and she couldn't be more rude and more unhelpful than anybody could expect, she wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise she wouldn't answer anything she wouldn't let me leave a message I will never go back because of this! My daughter seems to be having a problem with her piercing & I'm in Brooklyn & I can't get her there! My daughter can't drive and she wouldn't even let me leave a message or talk to her about it, what advice I should do about the piercing! She just cut me off!! The doctor said she looks like she might be allergic to maybe the metal?! What a horrible experience because of that I will never be back!!! UNFORTUNATELY SOMEONE LIKE THIS IS GOING TO COST THE OWNER BUSINESS!!

Fantastic experience: Want a piercing but scared or nervous??? Go see Kenny!! He is awesome! I went in to get my lip done and scared isn't even the word! My hands were sweating and I was a wreck. He made me so comfortable and talked me through his whole process. It was quick easy and painless. Less than a week later I came back today for another one on my lip and my nose. Absolutely amazing and super friendly. Thanks again so much Kenny!!!

Fantastic experience: Cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the experience that I had at Sick Ink. The staff is super friendly and all of the artists are equally talented. My artist was Ellen and she was super cool, super professional and took pride in her work and it showed in my piece in how great it was. I’m very grateful I chose this studio and recommend it to anyone!
