Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service! I walked in without knowing my size at all, and the staff was incredibly patient and helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me figure out what size would work best for me. Unfortunately, they didn’t carry my size in store, but instead of just saying no, he wrote down the exact size I needed so I could look for it elsewhere. I really appreciated the effort and honesty. Truly great service！highly recommend!

Negative experience: Would give zero stars if I could… absolutely horrible. Helix piercing was down very wrong and at a clear angle, this meant the piercing wasn’t able to heal and instead got very irritated with both bumps on the front and back. I had another piercer confirm it was pierced completely wrong. They also pierced my belly which rejected because the neglected to check if I had the anatomy for it or not. Complete waste of $100. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have my nose piercings removed immediately. After going to 3 Tatto shops, I found Tomy Russell, who was able to efficiently remove withn a minute! He is skilled, professional and knows his craft. Great job. You should check them out.

Fantastic experience: Went for a walk in rook piercing and was in and out in 10 minutes. It was quick and one of the most painless piercing I have ever gotten. It is a Cash only location, luckily an ATM was not too far away. If I want to get another piercing I’d definitely come back!

Fantastic experience: Got my Daith done Thursday by Scotty. Super nice, everything was sanitized and clean. He talked me through the whole process and was very thorough. I’ve been here before to get my ears pierced and they are the only piercings I’ve never had issues with. They have lots of options for jewelry. Staff was nice and wait wasn’t long!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here! I called and was able to get a piercing the same day. I got a forward helix and all the guys in there were super friendly and sweet. I was talking to my friend about having a bad day and one of the guys behind the counter cheered me up and just had a great personality. The piercer was very knowledgeable and did a great job with the piercing. Very reasonably priced and a great environment! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Super bad service, I went in for a belly piercing on Thursday. First of all everyone looked annoyed, the guy who did the pircing when straight to it, he didn’t disinfect anything or measure. The pircing looks awful is all crooked after he finish the pircing he proceeded to say “Done” and gave no further instructions lol.. I don’t recommend it!!!!

Negative experience: I'm not even going to lie the place is too dark for me. Went in because I wanted to price a tattoo for me and my husband. Walked in and just because we had our son with us who was under 18 they were very rude to us. Nothing was posted he couldn't be in the building first of all. Second it wasn't like we getting it done that day anyway we just wanted a price. I think that's why we got crappy service because they weren't gonna make any money. And third there was nothing in the lobby that would've hurt him while we took turns getting tattoos done. There are only a bunch of stools and a pool table. Overpriced a simple tattoo that the artist said it would take an hour for and upwards of $200? Not a chance I will take my business elsewhere thank you very much. Heard some good things about these guys but I will not be doing business with them ever. Being rude gets you nowhere in life.

Negative experience: Never get a piercing from this place. Went in for snakebites and when I asked for them all the guys in the shop sighed and just seemed annoyed I was asking for snake bites. Both of them were pierced horribly wrong. (I didn’t know this at the time and fought to get them to heal) i eventually had to take them out and it’s left me with a horrible scar and a crooked lip. I’ve gotten them done recently and they are still refusing to heal because of all the scar tissue

Fantastic experience: I have been to Twisted Sixes a few times for piercings..piercing changes... and piercing removals...always been happy and pleased.. I went there today after having an unfortunate tattoo experience this morning, leading to me not getting the tattoo i have been waiting for.. This would turn out to be my first time getting a tattoo at Twisted Sixes... I walked in and talked to the guys up front, all had such great attitudes and vibes as they always do, kept the energy great! I showed them my tattoo and they got me in a chair right away with Pat, and I got my tattoo! (PSA..Neck tattoos... next level lol) Pat wasn't great... or good at all.. he was AMAZING! And I mean that! He walked me through each step of the tattoo and kept checking to make sure I was good throughout! This was a particularly painful tattoo and I preferred to keep quiet and focus on my breathing, Pat caught on to the vibe and kept the vibe strong and minimal small talk here and there! I highly recommend going to Pat for your tattoo needs! I will be returning very soon! Truly an amazing artist and the vibes were great! Thanks to the Twisted Team! Y'all kick ass all day erryday! Negative experience: Came by for the first time looking for jewelry I was asked what i needed by a gentleman and i told them what i was looking . one of the guys asked another worker to assist me and he made a comment “no hablo ingles” . I decided to just leave take my business elsewhere where unnecessary racial comments. From the older gentleman who was asked to help. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Negative experience: I came here to get my septum pierced against the better judgement of my friends and their experiences with the place about 2 weeks ago. I don’t remember my piercers name but prior to the piercing he didn’t clean the inside of my nose at all, and he harshly told my friends who were in the room with us not to record. He put the clamp for my nose on very hastily, and I told him it didn’t feel like it was lined up but he assured me it was fine and he knew what he was doing, he proceeded to pierce directly through my cartilage (not the area that should be pierced). Overall the whole exchange was less than 5 minutes and cost me $80. it was clear to me that he just wanted to get it over with and wasn’t concerned with really anything he was doing. my nose was severely swollen and I developed a fever within 2 days of the piercing, I went to another shop to get it checked out and they told me that this piercing was probably never going to heal and I should take it out immediately. PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER SHOP IN DURHAM! do not spend your money here you more than likely will regret it.

Fantastic experience: I got my helix done and my friend got a nose piercing. Tony did both of ours. He talked through everything, was super nice/fun, and experience was good. Definitely recommend Tony!! :) the other guy in the front who also helped me pick out my jewerly to chose the best one for healing and less irritation was also great!

I come in and it’s straight to business, not much wait even if people are in front and they take care of you and tell you everything no waiting around no need to schedule an appt. Negative experience: My sister, my daughter, and myself came here to get piercings and tattoos. Everything came out great. However the customer service was not the best. The guy at the front desk had good customer service skills. however, the guy in the back that did the piercings was not to customer service friendly. I probably would not go back because of that.

Negative experience: i went to get two small tattoos - one of them was fine but the other didn't turn out like the picture i showed them. It was supposed to be a dainty shooting star with light shadow, but instead I got a thick dark shaded tattoo. I included both the inspiration picture and the one on my arm

Fantastic experience: So I called to be sure I could do same day services and I was able to. When I got there the place was clean I love the aquarium by the way and the fish that's in it. The guy that checked me in was very transparent and nice although i didnt get his name. Daniel took care of me and he was just as pleasant really into what he do. Get conversation great energy. I will definitely be back for him to do my upper lobe.

Fantastic experience: I should have gone with my initial instinct and waited until I returned to NC for my tongue piercing but I didn't. Therefore the instructions I was following cause my tongue piercing to begin closing sooner than it should have. Today l, I couldn't get my tongue ring back in, so I called them immediately after work. They took me right in, they were kind and gave me proper instructions to follow for the healing process! Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I'll be coming back again for my next tattoo and suggest others come here too!

Fantastic experience: I went here about a year and a half ago to get a tattoo which I wanted same day. They were so helpful and worked me in between their already booked appointments. I told the guy what I was looking to get and he sketched a tattoo on paper and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. My tattoo turned out perfect and I am planning on going back to get another one in the next week.

Fantastic experience: Friend went here and they were so calm and cool when things went sideways. She passed out from her piercing, and they were by her side till she woke up. So patient.

Negative experience: i got a very very simple semicolon tattoo with a turtle as the dot on top instead. he barely stayed in the lines of it. it's lumpy and lopsided and i hate it. never going back there again. total waste of money.

Negative experience: I wanted my flat and conch pierced. He did not sanitize my ears but the needle was sanitized and freshly opened. The flat was placed and I didn’t like the location so he repierced and it was fine and I got the first one free. The conch was pierced on the other ear but he gave me a rook. When I tried telling him, he and the other guy were both saying it’s a conch. I paid $70 and tipped 10, but honestly I’m not satisfied and I won’t be back. They are extremely nice people though.

Fantastic experience: I wanted my double forward helix piercings as well as my industrial bar jewelry changed. Cecil was very professional! He marked the spots for the piercing and let me look at them to make sure of correct placing. He made me feel comfortable and calm! Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I got a belly button piercing and the piercer didn’t clean my skin off before piercing he didn’t rub anything down with any kind of cleaning solution just stuck the needle right through. Everyone was very kind and I felt very welcome however I felt as though it was very unprofessional or at least my piercer
