Fantastic experience: Top quality work top quality staff to quality service. What more could you ask for

Negative experience: The customer service wasn’t bad and the piercing ladies were very nice HOWEVER. I went in with a friend to get my rook pierced and the woman piercing my ear accidentally pierced my daith, which is what my friend was there to have done. The lady immediately noticed her mistake and apologized. She offered to still pierce my rook and I did walk away with the piercing I wanted having not paying a single cent. I walked away with a story to tell, that’s for sure, but I think I’ll stick to my regular piercer for any future piercings.

Fantastic experience: I visited the shop around Columbus Day with a very irritated nose piercing and a noticeable piercing bump. The irritation was my fault, caused by attempting to change the jewelry myself and incorrectly inserting the new piece. I guess the main piercer was unavailable and I was assisted by an apprentice. I could tell she was nervous. She said that she wasn’t sure if she could help me after looking at my nose and noticing I was in considerable pain, but she handled the situation professionally. She managed to re-open the piercing and successfully install the correct jewelry. Within a few days , the pain was gone and the bump was down. Thank you so much, girl! I feel bad that I forgot her name.

Negative experience: My friends and I came here to get pierced, all of our piercings have rejected after being pierced with a hoop. I’ve since learned that no reputable piercer will pierce you with a hoop in a rook! Do your research before coming here!

Negative experience: if i could give zero i would. extremely rude staff, they were even rude to one of their piercers. seemed like none of them wanted to do their jobs and felt the need to take it out on the customers especially the older lady. extremely rude and passive aggressive.

Negative experience: I got my eyebrow pierced here. I came in as a walk in late at night so understand not being super jazzed. The two people who helped me were very passive aggressive and honestly made me uncomfortable. I’ve been to many other piercing shops and have been greeted and shown respect. I don’t recommend this place! Id recommend the electric crayon they’re amazing and make you feel welcomed and comfortable

Negative experience: My friend and I came here on Tuesday just for walk in piercings. We were then poorly greeted and told there was no piercer in most days and turned us away. So then we called ahead today(Thursday) and they said they had a piercer in and to come in. When we arrived the piercer herself said she could do ours after she does her next clients. We said perfect then not even a minute later one of the other staff at the desk told the girl before us she will have to wait and come back another day. Confused but we still were just looking at piercings then 2 min later the lady at the desk was asking us again what piercings we’re getting and then abruptly walked away from us just to return and say come back tomorrow. Her only explanation was the piercer did not feel up to it because of the weather hurting her back. How do you only have a piercer a few days out of the week and she turns them away on the days she is working?

Negative experience: Most unprofessional place I’ve been to in my life, was playing around with my family member when piercer was not even touching her face or had any needle on her hand. She screamed at me to get out and take my kids outside. I told her that I was next, and explained that this was it not towards her but my family member which we all laughed about but she remained to scream at me to get out with my kids. All I did was say “boo” so my friend could lighten up, we ended up all laughing while the piercer was being very unprofessional and started raising her voice at me when she was not even ready to fully pierce her nose nor near her nose. I will never go back to this place. My kid was in his seat and my daughter was standing just watching, there was no need to include my kids or kick them out.

Negative experience: A year ago in december on my birthday i had turned 16 WITH MY PARENT THERE, i gotten my nose pierced for my sweet 16, which they did amazing on! but when i returned in january of this year, now 17 and still had a parent, a birth certificate and my id of successfully needing another piercing till they said we need a “plastic copy” of the birth certificate because it could be “edited”, my parents or let alone any other adult even my new piercer(at Vibrant Body Arts) has ever heard of such thing. Never will return, stupid change of rules.

Negative experience: Literally the worst piercing I’ve ever gotten in my life and the two girls working were some of the most off-putting, rude people I’ve met and I’m a nurse lol. Safe to say I’ll be sticking to my usual place for piercings which is not here. Electric crayon is the way to go.

Negative experience: Got my cheeks pierced here in 2020. The piercings were done completely wrong. Could not figure out why I had so much pain in my face after I took them out. I now have been living with severe chronic pain in my face, called trigeminal neurolgia. That means my trigeminal nerve is so damaged there is no fixing it. I have had to live with this every single day for 5 YEARS!

Fantastic experience: This place has done all my tattoos and piercings. Today I went in for a memorial tattoo, not only did Ricky do such a great job I got my car crying because how well it looked. I absolutely love this place!

Fantastic experience: This five star review is for J.D! I know I didn’t get to know you man but the fact that you your family and everyone at outlaw are welcoming to people trying to change their lives around should be recognized by the world! This comforting establishment shocked this little city boy. I went in to get an estimate on a tattoo removal and possible cover up. To my surprise they said that it was going to be for FREE! That’s right I said outlaw tattoo is removing my prison tattoos for free!!! because J.D wanted a spot for people like him trying to change. This fine establishment is ALL for growth in the community and in peoples lives! If y’all haven’t been to Outlaw and are going somewhere else I would really encourage you to come check this place out. Oh I was also talking about possibly getting a tattoo over my removal area and I’m biiiiggg on letting an artist just do what they feel and a lot of tattoo shops nowadays need a stencil or a pre drawing. I was assured that if I wanted an artist to just do what they wanted it was okay and idk bout anyone else but if an artist is excited about something they wanted to do that tattoo becomes a beautiful piece of art. In my opinion this is the absolute best shop from here to Los Angeles! Thank you for being such a blessing and J.D I hope this review has you smiling up in the clouds because things like allowing someone to get free removal so they can do better in life is more of a blessing than most people receive their whole lives! Negative experience: Poor customer service. Unsure I'll ever return I didn't get what I asked for and got jewelry. Since when do they charge a "5$ service fee?" For switching out jewelry

Negative experience: These guys suck. Dont let them sucker you into putting your gauges in when you buy them. They will charge you. I had to walk out a few weeks ago because they didnt just want me to buy the guages but they wanted to fit them like they are the only people who know whats right.

Negative experience: Took 17yo daughter for her 2nd piercing there and suddenly they want a plastic birth certificate? Knowing several people with newborns who have also never heard of a plastic birth certificate we won't be back there and neither will anyone I know.

Negative experience: I had peircings done here and they ended up never healing so i went to a different piercer to get them checked and confirmed they were done wrong and i have to let them heal and get them repierced. Originally went in for a belly button piercing and was told they couldnt do that for me because of my "collapsable stomach." Went to a different piercer and told me that a belly button piercing would be completely fine on me. Yikes.

I also ended up getting a new tattoo from Jess and she was as equally amazing. I have had good experiences with tattoos and bad experiences with getting tattooed and she was honestly the best. Negative experience: got my helix done there and ended up having to take it out after trying to let it heal for a year. it was getting rejected out of where it was pierced because of how the piercer did the piercing. never going back.

Negative experience: Piercer is incompetent. Showed her my piercing already in my ear and said I was looking for a similar replacement for it which I bought there originally. She sold me one that was way too long and a screw top. Then I was told I couldn’t get a refund for it 3 minutes later after I realized it was too long. Also most piercing places at least ask if you want them to put it in and she didn’t even offer and I tipped her before because normally they put it in for me. Been a customer for years will not be back.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place!! I've both arms done here and so seemed fitting to take thy son here for his first tattoo!

Negative experience: Was told they only take reservations in person. Called twice to confirm telling her we were coming 4 hours away and didn’t want to drive that far for nothing. She said mid-week shouldn’t be a problem. Went to the store and tried making reservations for that day or the next and they couldn’t make me an appointment. I explained I called twice and that is not what I was told, she didn’t care or try to be accommodating. Was getting a simple tattoo that took another very helpful accommodating shop 10 minutes to do. If you are coming from out of town and want to make sure you can get in during your visit this isn’t the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I've gotten four piercings from here so far and all of them turned out amazing. I have my septum, labret and double lobes done. Bob and really knowledgeable and chill. Definitely recommend this place for a piercing. Plus the prices are way cheaper than other shops in Sioux Falls.

Positive experience: I don’t like bashing on places. I absolutely love this place. I got my septum here a few years back, obviously a different piercer. But this time I wanted to get a birthday piercing that I was so excited to get. It wasn’t the best. BOB has to pierce it TWICE because the first time it was slanted. The second time I saw after and they said the swelling would go down and it will be even. I don’t think this looks even. Made me so upset. So I had to take it out cause I didn’t want a piercing that was crooked. :(

Negative experience: Very rude lady unprofessional in demeanor when it came done to information had different stories on what was actually needed for a piercing for a minor. Then when we found an artist to pierce it she refused to sell jewelry to any of us also when piercing another person in our party she completely missed the markcausing 2 holes. If I could Rate a ZERO I would I should have listened to all the people that told us not to go here learned my lesson

Negative experience: Called ahead of time to make sure I had everything I needed to get my daughter's ears pierced. I specifically told them what piercing she wanted the helix and daith. After driving almost an hours to get here they tell me the person that does both of those isn't here until Wednesday. Why would the lady on the phone tell me that. I could understand if I had just said I was bringing her in for a piercing but I was calling to make sure those specific spots could be pierced on a 17 year old with a parent and legal documents. I will not be coming back.

Negative experience: It's been months now but I still can't believe how freaking RUDE the piercing lady is- name started with an X?? I mean from the start, she was snappy, mean to her super nice coworker who was there and scrambling to save the visit, wouldn't listen to what we wanted and I just cannot believe how genuinely unkind and indecent she was. Honestly looking at the other reviews, I am amazed she still works there. Wish I had gotten my money back. Do NOT go here for piercings unless you want to deal with the worst customer service ever.

Fantastic experience: My daughter came in for her 1st tattoo and right away we noticed how clean and well kept it was. Staff was very welcoming. Jess was amazing with my daughter who was a little nervous. She explained everything before she did it and that helped keep her calm!

Negative experience: I have no idea how the piercers still work here. I have been telling people to avoid this place. I had to go to electric crayon to get my piercing fixed and they immediately knew that outlaw messed it up. Some of the rudest employees as well. Don’t know anyone who’s had a good experience here. Negative experience: The piercing lady was rude, I'm pretty sure I just lost 60 bucks cos their ATM doesn't work and wouldn't let me cancel the transaction! Also my mom got her nose pierced there and they admitted when she went back to find out why her jewelry was rejected, that whoever pierced it, had pierced it in the wrong place!! Don't recommend they don't want your money, go somewhere else it'll save you the headache and discouragement.

Negative experience: I live quite a ways away and I'm literally just trying to talk to an artist and book something and the lady was rude and they weren't willing to work with me at all. Glad you guys been around for over 10 years. You need to come in and book an appt but when you live an hour and a half away and are trying to establish doing something special for your son... well not ok.

Fantastic experience: I just went there to get short letter tattoo. The place was very classy and cool, very decent price and very outstanding care of customer.

Negative experience: Friendly staff however the jewelry I got was the wrong size for my piercing they did. It ended up getting infected because of it. 4 out of the 5 people I've talked to had a similar experience

Negative experience: When considering getting a tattoo/piercing diffently would NOT recommend Outlaw Tatoos. What a HORRIBLE experience. The workers were extremely RUDE, especially the lady that does the piercing and the place is NOT up to OSHA compliance. However, the young lady with short/dark hair, who is the apprentice, seem to be decent. The Electric Crayon, diffently would recommended .

Negative experience: I went to just grab some plugs before I went to work one of mine fell out. She wanted me wait around. I don't think it would've taken a min to sell me a pair before she did a piercing or tattoo or whatever she was doing. But eh it's cool.

Negative experience: Terrible service with extremely rude staff which I would not expect from such an establishment. If you need specific documents they will not specify what is needed, and will continually disrespect you while telling you, you need to come back with something different for the fourth time. I truly hope people do not make the same mistake I did by nearing this business.

Fantastic experience: I love outlaw. If they don't have what I'm looking for, for jewelry, they are more than willing to order it. I went in a while ago and my Daith pierced, and was going to buy a rainbow industrial bar, they didn't have one, and the piercer said they should be getting some when the next shipment comes in. Piercings aren't too expensive. And they tell you how to care for each one individually for best healing results. Even provide a printed copy of how to care for fresh piercing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Sent a message 5 days before I was going to come down there with some pictures for some ideas that I had as I live quite a ways away from them and Facebook showed that they viewed the message ,they completely ignored me , never even bothered to respond. Moved on to a place that actually wanted my business.

Negative experience: Rude, bossy pushy lady did the piercing. She didn’t listen to what we wanted - interrupted us and talked over us as we attempted to describe what we wanted. She belittled us for not knowing all the business jargon of the trade and tried to make us feel like we were inferior and stupid. During the piercing she seemed more obsessed with killing flies than being a professional piercer. After the high stress - high anxiety piercing process she gave us a half used bottle of eye drops to clean the wounds. Eye drops? No. She used too short of a bar so when the piercings swelled they sunk deep into the cheek flesh creating intense pain and an inevitable infection. We had to go to Vishnu Bunny to get them fixed. Bad bad experience from beginning to end. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
