Negative experience: Extremely upset as we asked the front desk if apprentices worked here and that we did not want one tattooing us. Front desk woman stated that they would not be, and they would “tell us if so” as it is a learning parlor. Totally fine, get it, but we said no to any apprentice. Well, once the tattoo was almost finished it was brought to our attention the tattooist IS in-fact an apprentice (she brought it up herself). Talk about complete dishonesty. We get inked often and know the questions to ask and they deliberately ignored our request of no apprentice. Will not be returning for other reasons such as… artist almost didn’t wrap the chair/arm board prior to starting tattoo: sharps container was/is hanging off of a table (told owner does not allow nails or things attached to walls). Artist rubbed face constantly with lower arm making it questionable if it was near the open wound. I would not recommend this parlor to anyone. I never write reviews, but a tattoo is forever so trying to look out for anyone. If you opt to go here, request to see their certifications and ensure they aren’t an apprentice despite being verbally told so.

Made sure the art was exactly what I wanted, proper placement and i was completely comfortable! The studio was spacious, private and very clean! I will definitely be back and will work with Eli in the future! I would absolutely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I spent a good bit of time here the day after Christmas, on a whim. My piercer was funny and engaging and made the process very smooth. The receptionists was kind and efficient in getting me through the paperwork. I also got a last minute small tattoo and the owner was quick and had a very calming presence. Honorary mention to Deangelo who cracked jokes the whole time. 10/10 experience would definitely go back.

We stopped in and spoke with Allie and Jerome. Allie did my tattoo and Jerome did my wife’s and they were super friendly and very talented. Fantastic experience: Very kind! Got a second opinion on if I should downsize (new to cartilage piercings) and the person who went over everything with me was awesome! Ended up not downsizing today and got some really good advice. Also let me know I could get nice jewelry for one of my newer lobe piercings for almost the same price of a new post when it came to getting a shorter post for it (sorry if that wording is awful!) All in all very kind people who know their stuff! Also saved me from downsizing too early :)

His skills are amazing! He is priced reasonably and is so patient with designs. I also decided I wanted a piercing and Logan was amazing during my piercing! Very gentle and professional and walked me through the whole process. Literally could not recommend Just Ink About anymore! Amazing place with great talent!!

Fantastic experience: I booked last week for an appointment yesterday. As always, they were professional, communicative, and on schedule. I gave Davien about 5 inspo pics and a favorite pic of my dog that passed, requesting to start on my 3/4 sleeve. The inspiration was admittedly scattered, with a lot of overlapping elements, but I had a vision. What Davien turned it into was more than I could have described, he was able to turn it into a stunning and cohesive design with clean, solid lines, beautifully placed flowers, and fitting the contours of my arm. My daughter got a tattoo there when the Hardscrabble Shop was fairly new (inner forearm, Shy Guy, bold colors, 3D super nice) and when it was time for us to go together in early 2024, we went back to Davien. We got Studio Ghibli related tattoos and love them so much. I'll do a separate review for my husbands first tattoo because it deserves it's own 5 stars but I will say that the 7 hours of work Davien put into his arm peice again showcased his talent and ability to make tattoos look almost alive, if it's fitting for the tattoo, which it was. Anyway, as for yesterday's session, he laid the outside foundation that will continue and wrap into my inner arm, where my pup will be. I look forward to these sessions ahead because: #1. Obviously, it's going to look amazing when finished so I'm excited #2. Vending machine on Main at least is only a dollar - it's the little things. Like not paying 7 bucks for a can of coke and skittles. #3. The vibes at both shops are high energy but chill at the same time. I feel calm when I'm there even if there is music, convos and all that going on around me. Most importantly, #4, I feel so at ease and confident that what I can imagine, they can create. The conversation with Davien, and all the staff, is welcoming and easy. I can only speak for Davien since he is the only artist I've used, but either he is gentle or I am a masochist - because 5 solid hours in the chair and I was practically napping. Like just leave me here to sleep and I'll lock up on my way out. But seriously, rave review, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough how much I appreciate Kris for taking on my request. I already had 1 arrow, and I wanted to add another arrow, but I didn't want it to take away from what l already had I wanted it to compliment, ea h other. What he did was amazing because not only do both arrows stand in their own, but they work together. In Native American culture a broken arrow means that the battle has come to an end, and you're at peace. He gave me something that I'm so proud of and grateful for.

Negative experience: This place will have you coming back for SOMETHING 1. I got my tongue pierced by Stephanie she asked me if I wanted a gold or silver ring for my piercing I picked gold. She told me that gauge was smaller so if it swells and come back and she was size it up with the standard silver gauge. As she said it did swell so I came back to switch it out thinking it's my fault I should have went with the silver. She then asks me if I would like the gold in that biggie size . I asked her why didn't she use that bigger size originally when she offered me gold versus silver the first time .. crickets .. she proceeded to change my piercing out and charge me. If the gold was available in the size that the silver ways why did she give me a smaller size ..for me to come back and pay to change it and pay for another gold bar ? 2. I got matching tattoos with my friend who lives in a diff state on my finger . I am aware that finger tattoos fade. I have one and have gotten it touched up 2x since I was 17 years old . The artists Davian cautioned us that the tattoo would fade , given my own experience it does fade but this tattoo completely is gone as if I didn't get a tattoo theres a difference, my friends is also completely gone. I complained because a tattoo faded but for there to be no trace is not a proper application. I was informed that they would do a free retouch for 90 days ... so of Course I have to go back. And they don't do refunds . Needless to say take your money else where. It's a money grab.

Fantastic experience: Absolute THE BEST tattoo experience! It was my first tattoo ever! It was a total impulse decision. I stopped in at Just Ink Bout It just to ask a few questions. I had it all prepared in my mind that I just wanted a simple blue cancer ribbon on my wrist. A blue ribbon represents colon cancer survivor! Then the most amazing tattoo artist Keel introduced himself to me! I told him my idea and he tok it to the next level. I have a ribbon that is half blue for colon cancer and half pink for breast cancer in honor of my mother. THEN he added a black curve to the ribbon to represent a heart. I was full with tears of joy! Keel walked me through the process and prepared me for my first experience. He was so gentle with me , focused and accurate!! I was nervous and he calmed me and engaged with me in polite conversation over the 30 minute procedure. This guy is A 1 with his artistic talent. I could see in his eyes and smile that he has a true passion in his career. Keel and I even have my second tattoo planned out in the next few weeks. I can’t shout out enough about the amazing experience I had with Keel and Just Ink About It! The saloon is professional and trendy. And not to mention the sounds of great vibe tunes! Check Keel and his staff out. It’s a tattoo experience that will keep you coming back!

When I tell you that this establishment was super friendly and super clean!!! Stefanie did one hell of a job!!! Negative experience: Just dont go. Horrible service, we called ahead and were not even told we needed a birth certificate for a piercing. We were basically ignored, and we took it upon ourselves to leave. We asked if they'd accept a picture of ID or birth certificate, and we were told we'd be talked to but never were. We will never be returning, that's for sure.

Negative experience: We were never greeted, were told we could be taken right after filling out the paperwork and never were taken back to be serviced. We waited longer than we were told it would be over the phone. We were also never told that a birth certificate would be needed until we arrived at the location. It was just a waste of 40 minutes and we will not be returning. The employees basically just waited for us to leave so they wouldn’t have to service us, even as we were leaving they said absolutely nothing. I’d put zero stars if possible.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a special tattoo a portrait of my brother who is no longer here. It was a special piece & I wanted it to be perfect!! I came in trusting Davien with the honor & he fell nothing short of perfect with my piece!! Yall please check out just ink about it tattoo & piercing. All the artist are very nice & supportive!!

Positive experience: Return customer. Got some ink by Pat a while ago and loved it and still do! It still looks great! It was just a random spare if the moment drop in for a friend's birthday. She got a piercing and a little ink as well and is satisfied. I stopped in again on June 13,2024 to have a piercing fixed I had done a while back that didn't take so well due to a shallow piercing in my Dathe However you spell it lol it's ok, it happens I guess. Found it odd I was never offered anything in return to make it right. (As a business owner I correct my work) but it's cool no biggie, whatever.. But as I was getting 3 new piercings randomly and had the pleasure of getting help by Stephy which was great BTW. Buttt my only complaint is the pricing was a bit crooked. And the needle seemed dull compared to other piercings I have had. No one has ever had to rip through through my skin. The piercings stated each Orbital, Flat, Helix were $50. ok, cool, no biggie. Stephy showed me some cool earrings I thought came with my piercing, but did not. I was charged $20 extra dollars per piercing and the jewely is not even real gold or silver so I think personally that was a rip off.. I was not told that I was going to be charged $60 extra dollars ($20 added to each piercing). My total purchase was $245.70 and I tipped $40 cause she did a great job. She was patient, friendly, and did a great job placing my piercings. She was patient and helpful while I was figuring out what I wanted. My only complaint and the only thing I would change is to be more open about prices and what your offering people so people don't feel taken advantage of or have a shock at the end. The price was a bit over board in my opinion and I seen better jewelry than what I was offered for the price I paid. They have a full wall with a big selection of jewelry. But all and all I still give them 4 stars. Clean facility, friendly staff, and professional. **UPDATE had to take 2 piercings out due to not healing properly. Guess that's what happens when you force dull needles into people's ears. What a HUGE waste of money!

I was so nervous for her and how she would react, but they made it a breeze. I thought my own existing, problematic piercing was a lost cause, but Stef worked some magic and it’s healed wonderfully.This is a great place with good vibes and fantastic people.
