Fantastic experience: My 8yr old got her ears pierced for her birthday by Adam and from start to finish the whole experience was great. She LOVED them once he was done, it was fast and the studio was clean and everyone was friendly. Would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: I got my helix pierced here two years ago and it has still not fully healed. I was originally expecting to be pierced by Adam, but instead was pierced by someone new. After a year of ongoing issues, I reached out to Adam in 2025 because my piercing was swollen and red. I followed the basic aftercare recommendations provided and even sent photos of the piercing. When those recommendations didn’t help, I followed up again on 2/6/25 and have yet to receive any response. I eventually went to a different piercer for a second opinion and was told that the piercing was done at the wrong angle, which is likely why it never healed properly. Considering I paid over $100 plus tip for a single piercing, this was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place. It wasn’t worth the time, money, or frustration.

Fantastic experience: My son got his ears done for his bday, it's been about a week and he is doing great I decided to join him and get my nose done to show him how it was going to be like. I really enjoyed the process our awesome experience was reached by how calm a. D knowledgeable Madame B was with us as well BB being able to ask all the questions and not feel like an idiot helped, the texting before with Adam was smooth and awesome. Negative experience: I recently booked a tattoo consultation with Josh Robinson after being impressed by his portfolio of animal and landscape tattoos online. The appointment was a few months out, which I completely understood and was willing to wait for. As someone with very limited tattoo experience (my only tattoo was done 20 years ago), I was unsure of what to expect from a consultation. Unfortunately, there was no guidance provided ahead of time about how to prepare—whether to bring digital images, printed references, or what kind of ideas to have ready. Because of this, I spent months gathering examples and creating a document of inspiration pieces to help communicate what I had in mind. At the consult, I hoped for some discussion on how the collaboration process typically works. Instead, I felt my materials and ideas were dismissed rather abruptly, with comments about my examples being “all over the place” or “too graphic-designey.” The most discouraging part was being told, “at some point you came to me, because you wanted me to design a tattoo,” which left me feeling more foolish than supported. I absolutely respect that every artist has their own preferred styles and the right to decline projects. What I struggled with was the lack of dialogue, suggestions, or direction. Rather than exploring possible ways forward or offering examples of past work as guidance, the conversation felt one-sided. When I brought up my idea for a landscape piece, it was declined outright with “I’m sick of doing those.” In the end, we agreed it wasn’t a good fit, and I left feeling like I had wasted both his time and mine after waiting several months for the consult. More importantly, I walked away feeling discouraged and inept, when I had hoped to leave feeling inspired and excited. If nothing else, I can appreciate that he was honest about not being interested in these pieces, so that neither of us was uncomfortable. But, I'd encourage a little more professionalism and tact. That said, I recognize this as a learning experience for me in finding the right artist fit. I believe a little more upfront direction about an artist’s process and preferences could go a long way in helping potential clients know whether or not they’re a match before investing significant time. Negative experience: Got a belly and septum piercing. Appointment was done late because past customers came in late, I replied with yep thats ok its fine. Overall Brittney was passive aggressive and didn't follow what I asked to be done. I asked to be fast and she when extremely slow which increased pain. I was nothing but nice and respectful.

Negative experience: Brittany is not attentive and did not realize I was about to pass out after my piercing, she had also handled it roughly causing the lightheadedness and nausea. I was on the verge of passing out while holding on to the counter and was brought to the counter to pay and allowed to leave while still on the verge of passing out. Not professional with her service either as she acted like I was invisible.

Fantastic experience: Ariana pierced my nose and my daughter’s belly button today. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. She was very helpful with information about aftercare and let us know we can order the jewelry right from them once the piercing heals. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again in the future!

Negative experience: worst experience ever. Britney is who pierced me, They acted like I was invisible and wasn’t a paying customer, Took three times longer, Messed up the piercing itself it is not straight or even at all it’s not even close to the center of my lip and she knew she messed up.

Fantastic experience: I got a couple piercings today with Brittany (sorry if I spelled that wrong!). She was absolutely amazing. Made me feel comfortable and welcome immediately. Everything was very sterile and mostly painless ;) thank you for being so personable and helping me out with getting that “other” piercing out! Totally didn’t have to do that, but I was so appreciative! Would definitely recommend coming here. Pricing is fair, the attention to detail is spot on, and the culture is super welcoming and inviting! 1000/10 stars ⭐️

Negative experience: Don’t get me wrong, Sacred Heart does great tattoos…but I would not recommend this place for piercings!!! They not only messed up my septum piercing so bad, but after piercing it super crooked the male piercer tried to blame it on my “uneven nostrils.” Just take a look at the pictures below and see for yourself. They also pierced my eyebrow at the very end of my eyebrow?!?! Finally, I want to mention that the main guy Adam is not very pleasant. Every time I have been here he makes me feel bad about something regarding my appearance, as well as is just snarky about the littlest things. Instead of owning up to screwing your piercing up they will find a way to make it your fault. Spend your money somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend! The best place in Rochester! The owner greeted us personally. We got in the same day (by some holiday miracle) and everything worked out great here. The artist was very reasonable, nice, and hard working. I won't go anywhere else in Rochester!

Negative experience: I took my two daughters in to get piercings. Brittany was the piercer and was kind, comforting, and just an over all nice person. This would be a 5 star review if we would have only dealt with Brittany. Adam on the other hand as soon as we walked in the door was acting like we were an inconvenience, yelling at Alexa to play different music while we tried to make small talk with him. While Brittany was doing my daughter's piercings I was videotaping an Adam walked by making very snippy comments not only to us but to Brittany. Saying, "there's another person video taping in your face" when I was more than 5 ft away from the chair. I instantly stopped recording and said I didn't realize you couldn't record because it's not on the waiver. Then I looked further there's no sign posted in the shop there is nothing posted on the website. What it boils down to is he was just being rude to be rude. A much different experience with him than the way he's depicted on the website as a "safe, clean and welcoming environment"

Fantastic experience: I was so happy to be able to get in there quickly. The girl that did my piercing was very nice, calm and informative. She did a really good job and I hardly even felt it. She pierced my daith. I would definitely recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Adam put my friend at ease & was very friendly. She said it barely hurt- just a pinch & significantly less than the piercings she had done with a gun. Adam did an excellent job and they are healing nicely. We will be back.

Fantastic experience: I got some pretty sensitive piercings from Adam, and despite how much the actual piercings themselves hurt, he did a fantastic job and did really well at making me feel super comfortable. They’re healing well so far, and when I had a question afterwards I got a pretty quick answer when I reached out. I’d definitely recommend him and would go back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to get piercings 4 times in the past 2 years and every time is such a comfortable and welcoming experience. I have trouble with laying down to get pierced and they found a way to help me and offered support. The team is so helpful and Adam always seems to make every visit special. They do an expert job with their piercings. I’ll always suggest this place to anyone who wants a piercing or is planning on getting their first. Questions always have answers and they are so patient. Absolutely love this place

Negative experience: KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY from this piercer. Adam was so rude and hostile that I had to walk out of Sacred Heart without getting anything done. My daughter and I had appointments for piercings and were 5 minutes late. We live almost 45 minutes away from Rochester and I did not account for the terrible traffic at that hour. That was my fault. I rushed in feeling horrible and flustered and I was ready to apologize. I never got to do that because Adam started talking down to us as soon as we stepped in the door. He was rude but I initially ignored his attitude considering we were late and he had a right to be irritated. I tried to explain why we were late but he didn’t care. The shop was pretty empty and I did not see any other customers there. I informed Adam we had 2 appointments booked that day but they were scheduled 2 hours apart. I asked if he could possibly do both piercings at the same time (just in case he wasn’t booked or had cancellations). I wanted to let my husband know (who was waiting in the car) if he should stay and continue to wait for us or if he had enough time to leave to run his errand. Adam kept snarking at me that we were 5 minutes late over and over again. Basically throwing it in our faces. Then he became angrier and even more hostile when I asked about the appointment times. I understand places are busy and I figured they wouldn’t be able to fit us in at the same time. He never answered the question because he was too busy being verbally aggressive. While he was ranting I realized I didn’t have the right documentation for my daughter, which was my fault. Nothing was going right. Had things been different (normal) I would have rushed home after my piercing to get my daughter’s birth certificate and been back in time for her appointment. But we never got to that point because after several minutes of him being belligerent to us I didn’t feel we could stay even for my appointment alone. He behaved so unprofessionally and rude that it wasn’t worth it. Especially to be so confrontational to/in front of a kid and literally scare her was out of line. At this point I had enough and told him we were leaving and was canceling both appointments. He then escalated to screaming at us and told me we couldn’t cancel because we were already there. He was so aggressive that my daughter ran back to the car before he was even done checking us in. I ended up screaming back at him because I was pissed and done taking his abuse by this point. 5 minutes did not warrant all of that. That extreme reaction is a big RED FLAG. We left and will never go back. Honestly, I suggest people find someone else to do your piercings in Rochester. Any person that has no problem screaming at a customer and a kid should not be trusted with children. I’m sure there are other piercers in the area that treat people with decency and respect. People make mistakes but people should still be treated like human beings.

Negative experience: The initial piercing appointment was great and I was very happy with the service. When my piercing became infected and the stud no longer fit in my ear I reach out to sacred heart and the piercer directly to see if i could just come in and get a longer stud backing. I never received a response from the piercer and I had to go to a other piercing shop for help. Disappointed I never received any help from the piercer or shop considering how much I paid.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend getting any piercing or tattoo done here !!! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been here two times and I always feel comfortable and they were always super duper extra clean when they did my piercings which I deeply appreciate ! I was super nervous for both of my piercings but the lady who did my piercing was encouraging and it really helped ❤️ thank you!

Fantastic experience: Adam was great with our 14 year old daughter. She wanted to get her nose pierced. We asked around and he came highly recommended from many people. I have to agree he’s fantastic! Everything was extremely clean and well done.

Negative experience: I went in to buy jewelry and ended up having to wait an hour and a half just for a piercer to give me the jewelry which still turned out not to be what I needed. I explained that I needed a longer bar since the area that was pierced was swollen, now I’ve wasted my money and time.

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen many tattoo/piercing artists, they are usually nice, but Adam goes above and beyond. I took my 8 yr old in for her double piercing and my 14 yr old for nose and helix. Adam made them feel at ease. They barely felt any pain. The shop is clean. Great place.

Negative experience: Called. No answer and said to send a text to the number called, so I did. Had an inquiry about a price range on a small facial tattoo. NO return call or text at all. BAD customer service. They should change that voice clip...

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this shop. I’m personally dedicated to one artist here, her work is absolutely perfect. The shops vibes are welcoming, there’s cool music playing all the time and the inside is just so beautiful. There’s art work everywhere you look, little trinkets in every corner! Best thing is; I am never shamed or made to feel bad about my reactions to getting tattooed. I have a super low pain tolerance bc of health issues but no one has ever made me feel like I was being too much. Also never felt bad for needing a break when the pain was getting to me, I %100 RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

My daughter was very nervous but he explained everything he was going to do and I think that made her much less nervous. Fantastic experience: We chose to get my daughter's ears pierced at a tattoo shop because it is safer and more sterile. Sacred Heart did a great job. They were great with kids, friendly, welcoming and CLEAN. It was a great experience for my daughter.

Fantastic experience: So, the first time I went there it was great. Second time I had my nose ring fall out. They put on a new one for me. They tightened my noise ring so tight where my noise is starting to hurt. I am trying my best to take it out and it won’t come out.
