Fantastic experience: I recently visited MD Tattoo Studio in Thousand Oaks (for the first time) after researching several local tattoo shops within a 25mi range of my home, I decided to book a consultation with one of the artists (Ani) and then decide on placement and size for the piece(s). First of all, the staff at MD Tattoo Studio is very professional. There are no drunk, high or other issues in front, or in the shop. Upon walking in, I was taken back by the elegant, spa vibe. The studio is clean, bright and open. The artists share a large workspace, and the machines are eerily quiet (gone are the days of high buzzing across the entire shop). The floor is a clean laminate hardwood, and the waiting area (although small) is just as clean with a tan leather sofa to relax. I was warmly greeted and completed waiver/consent forms at one of the kiosks located near the front. After that, I was asked if I was ready to get the tattoos the same day, I replied “yes, of course”. Ani walked me back to her station, and the consultation for the pieces was completed. The pieces were of sized, adjusted and sent to the printer/stencil for application (a seamless process). Ani was very knowledgeable in Norse runes and researched the pieces herself before completing the design/stencil. Ani completed the stencil application, ensured I was happy with the location and size of the pieces, and began the tattoos. The needle was painless, quiet, and fast. After a little over an hour, I was all done. Needless to say Ani’s work was flawless. These pieces are my first fine line tattoos (I have 6 other tattoos, including a full arm sleeve). I will definitely return to MD for more work. I already have several pieces in mind, as long as the wallet is ready, so am I . Thank You MD staff, you guys rock!!.

Fantastic experience: The artists are wonderful, talented and super nice and the other staff are also great! I came with my girlfriend to get our first tattoos and even though I came late and without a reservation they squeezed me in and banged em out in an hour! And they look AWESOME! Angelique did my Toothless and Star, and Ani did her Skyrim Dragon tribute to her late father as well as her Yahweh tattoo! Both super nice, made us feel very comfortable and the shop has many accommodations available to buy for tattoo/piercing care! Also considering we both got multiple, the prices were very fair!

Fantastic experience: I just recently had to say goodbye to my girl Meemosa It was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through I’ve always had an envision of getting her tattooed when she passed. Kyle’s page came across my Instagram. We started talking about this envision and he had an opening on a Sunday I sent him a ton of pictures he picked the one he thought would give me what I was looking for I trusted him and let him do his thing I could not be happier The void that this tattoo has filled is unexplainable I own my own business as-well and have a high attention to detail. Their shop was very clean, very organized. Everybody was friendly and involved in all of the tattoo work going down. My tattoo consultation was great, and we're now a couple of sessions into an awesome half sleeve. I had such a good experience with my tattoo that when my daughter wanted her first ear piercing, we went to MD Tattoo. There are undoubtedly less expensive places to get tattoos and piercings, but the quality, care, and vibe here is so good that it's worth every penny because this is stuff you don't want to get wrong. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted kindly by Mike and filled out the appropriate paperwork. We had an appointment and only had to wait shortly. The studio was immaculate and popping off Ani has a very gentle touch doing my tattoo, didn’t hurt at all like I thought it would. She did exactly what I wanted. The studio is bright, modern, and neat. I went for a consultation first a few weeks prior, then my tattoo appointment last weekend. Amelie was attentive to what I wanted and offered great ideas on how best to execute it. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. The shop was busy, but not chaotic. The ambience was relaxed and all the artists were friendly, kind, and helpful to each other. Such a great atmosphere! The tattoo came out beautiful and I am happy with how it's healing so far. The environment of the shop is very clean and inviting, and the artist herself was focused, steady handed, and very thorough with the exact art i wanted. Would come back again without question and would recommend flora 10/10

Fantastic experience: I’ve had some bad tattoos recently done here in California. I found a good artist in Simi that did does some great work on me. I found an artist in Moorpark that was not so good and made me decide to try out MD tattoo. Angelique, as soon as I saw the drawings with a small idea, I gave her Wowed me right away. The different way she sketched it and applied it on me still the next day I still have a rush. She does amazing work with a light hand and works quick. She even added some detail on me after the sketch was already applied. I look forward to the next time I see her to have some more work done.
