Fantastic experience: I have been skulking around boro tattoo shops. I am a trauma survivor and Matt at black diamond is the first artist I felt comfortable enough with to ask for a hug. I'm a disabled veteran with trauma. I cannot say how much this means.

Fantastic experience: Went in today on Friday the 13th and walked out with 3 amazing new tattoos! The shop was very nice, cozy, and overall a great atmosphere. Cyann did amazing on helping me figure out placements for the 3 pieces and making them work with the other tattoos on my arm. She made the whole experience smooth and easy. Overall, everyone at the shop communicated everything with me, wait and all. I am so happy with the work done today and will definitely booking here in the future!

Fantastic experience: This will be my third time getting a tattoo from Keith. It was an amazing experience. He was very patient while we made sure I got both of my tattoo placements the way I wanted. He also touched up some writing on a previous tattoo from a different artist. It was a very nice and calming environment that made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years now. I won’t go anywhere else. TJ is a cool dude & always handles all the front end stuff to keep the shop going. Matt always knocks the art out of the park no matter what I bring him. It’s hard to find a shop that the art is dope & the vibes are cool. I’m always getting compliments on my ink too. Fantastic experience: I had a custom dog tattoo done. In honor of my sweet Australian shepherd of 10 years. His piece turned out just as I expected and more. The structure and flow of the piece went perfectly. I was able to adjust the tattoo as needed. My artist as extremely helpful. He made different pieces of the tattoo allowing me to visualize the placement until satisfied. He made sure everything was perfect and explained everything. His mastery of the art is impeccable. He’s portrayed my sweet boy very elegantly. I’ll definitely be returning and requesting him by name. The atmosphere of the studio is calm and friendly. I experienced no judgment of what I wanted done. Other staff/artists was very compassionate to my piece. All good things were said. General conversation amongst client was appropriate and clean.

Fantastic experience: This was my first tattoo and I was nervous. Everyone (staff, other customers, & especially my chosen artist, Izak Blanke) made me feel completely at ease. The studio is clean, easy to access, friendly, and professional. Izak took his time and answered all of my questions. I love my tattoo, and after this, Black Diamond is the only place I’ll ever get a tattoo. Thank you, BD, for a wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: Izak was great first time!

Negative experience: Very disappointed in my reink touch up and after several attempts to reach out to the tattoo artist I finally gave up. Switched pricing after I was quoted. It went up $200 after I was done. Not a professional way to run a business. Considering they did less work from the original design because they didn't want to put the strings on the guitars that was too hard for them. I don't appreciate the comment I wasn't there. Clearly I'm leaving this review because I was.

Special K (Kim) is phenomenal to work with. I have tortured her with multiple coverups and she kills it every time! Every artist at Black Diamond is professional, knowledgeable and their work is second to none. If this is your first tattoo or your hundredth this is the place to go.

Everyone is so welcoming, helpful, & kind. I went to Special K for a flash deal & ended up returning to her for several other tattoos due to how amazing she is. Fantastic experience: My friends and I had been talking about getting tattoos for years. When we were visiting from Memphis, we decided now is the time. It was kind of last minute, but they were able to get us in within a few hours. Matt did an incredible job and was so patient with us, when were were slightly indecisive. Fantastic experience: Matt was great. We were from out of town and went in to get a tattoo. Everyone was booked for the day. Matt came out and said he could work us in the next day. We emailed him a picture of the tattoos we wanted. He had everything ready when we got there. He did a wonderful job!! Fair prices and great work. I highly recommend him. Everyone was friendly. The lady at the front desk and the other tattoo artist were friendly. Everyone there was so welcoming.
