Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience! My piercer, Jocelyn was the best! She made sure my anatomy was correct and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed! I got angel fangs and she did so good! She gave me a ton of information about healing and made sure I did my research too! Edit: I came back and I got my septum pierced by Jocelyn, today. I've had bad experiences with different shops and Jocelyn is literally my go to piercer! I even called to make sure she was working so I know that I am getting pierced by someone who not only is great but also makes sure her clients are comfortable! Seriously, she's awesome!

Fantastic experience: Went to get my right nostril pierced today, I had my left side done by Chris which he did an amazing job, quick and painless, healed perfectly too! Barney did my right side today and he did amazing! he is such a bright and energetic person who made me feel very welcomed and super comfortable I could tell he takes his job very seriously to satisfy his clients!! he matched my new piercing to my left side perfectly on the first try which was very impressive and he was so happy about it lol, I definitely enjoyed my experience there and love my matching nostril piercings thank you Barney you the best!

Fantastic experience: Stopped by on the way back from LA to get a second ear piercing (since I forgot I wanted to get one in LA) and I'm so glad we found this place! $30 for ear piercing, not including tiop. Jose helped us out and he was really cool and comforting. My first ear piercing was when I was a bebe so didn't know what to expect. He explained the pain level of the spot I wanted which helped calm me down. He also asked if I wore earrings with a big face so he doesn't add a hole that would possibly get covered when I do wear my larger earrings, which I appreciated because it's a detail I didnt even think of myself! He was very informative on what to use to clean it, how long it would take for it to heal, and the do's and don'ts while it heals. Very professional and helpful. The shop itself was cool to be in. Filled with artwork you could flip through for days. Definitely would love to stop by again.

Negative experience: Used to come here for piercings. I’ve gotten 9 piercings here and the piercings were all good and done professionally and I felt comfortable except for one. I kept coming back here because the placements were always good and the piercers were professional with me and I wasn’t uncomfortable until I came to get my tongue done. I waited like everyone else and ended up being skipped for my turn and waited till last no biggie maybe the order got mixed up. I went to the back with the piercer and it was uncomfortable from the start. I didn’t feel comfortable at all as I’m getting my tongue pierced by this man and he’s wiping my mouth when I most certainly could’ve and was going to myself. There was a no handshake policy assuming because it was still kinda covid time and he was saying we could do a handshake back here since it’s just us. Then he writes me my slip on how long it will heal and writes his personal number and tells me to come back next time for him. Never went back again.

I went with all my friends, meaning there were 5 of us at the shop. Each of us got a piercing. He treated us with respect and made us feel comfortable. I get dizzy from needles, but he helped me calm down and gather myself. 10/10 experience. I'll be coming back here to get a tattoo as well!

Fantastic experience: A very professional tattoo shop that has been in this location for over 20 years. I had another tattoo done for me yesterday. My artist was Scott. He did an awesome job and I was extremely pleased with his work skills. The tattoo looks outstanding.

Positive experience: I liked Mad Dog. I was a walk in and Adrian tatted me up. He had great freehand and it was done in less than 5min. Keep in mind, I did just walk in. But I had to wait over an hour for an artist. Then they have tattoo groupies over there. Not a surprise just weird to open my eyes and have 2 strangers staring at it being done. Overall, fully what I expected from Mad Dog Tattoo. If you want that old school downtown tattoo experience come here. You just might have to wait a bit. Thanks Adrian!

Negative experience: We went to get ear piercings and called the day before and the guy said the piercing guy would do it but when we went there had to wait 1.5 hours to be told no. Will never refer anyone here

Also, he charged an unexpected $80 gratuity after the work was done. Ask many questions but, shop around before making a finally decision.

Negative experience: Such a disappointing experience, I’ve gotten my nose pierced here before and had a great experience the piecer explained everything in detail and it didn’t hurt at all however this time it was the complete opposite, I felt so uncomfortable and the piercer kept pushing and pulling the needle into my nose which made it worse. I literally cried in pain in my car afterwards, never coming back
