Fantastic experience: I’ve gotten four tattoos here with Doyle and Johnathan they’re always so professional they take their time Make you feel super comfortable the healing on all of my tattoos has been amazing and they still look brand new and I’ve had them for almost over a year I can’t wait to come back for more

Fantastic experience: I went in spur of the moment on Sunday afternoon and was welcomed and helped swiftly. Tracy was fantastic from start to finish on my triple forward helix piercings. I love them. I’ll go back in a few weeks to get a shorter backing for my top one but I love her bedside manner, how clean the shop was, friendly staff and awesome results.

Negative experience: I came here over the course of 2+ months to get multiple lobe piercings. The first two were a little off from my primary piercing, but it wasn't that noticeable. Going in to get my 3rd lobe piercing I specifically asked Traci to make sure that it was the same spacing as the other two. She didn't come close and she knew it because she commented on the fact that I could balance out the distance with larger earrings. I took all three piercings out (a waste of $300), and I will try again with a more experienced piercer after they heal.

Fantastic experience: I will never go anywhere else for a piercing again! I just left after getting a couple pretty personal piercings and Tracy made me feel so comfortable. Not only did she calm my nerves, but she made me feel so confident as well. She is picky about placement which is obviously a necessity and it wasn’t nearly as painful as my brain was building it up to be. I am so grateful. Thank you guys!!

Fantastic experience: TRACY WAS AMAZING! I came in needing help getting my septum clicker back in after it being out for a few months. I did not make a jewelry or service purchase. Tracy was happy to help me. Her attitude was so kind, welcoming, and comforting! My piercing hole was still open, but had shrunken slightly, and so there was a moderate amount of unavoidable discomfort involved in the process. Tracy was very patient and talked me through every step and made sure I was okay! It was a long process but she had never ending patience and made sure I left with jewelry in my face. I will be coming back! Thank you!!

They are patient, sanitary, quick with their hands, and very nice! the wait and price overall are better than most. I would definitely recommend this place not just for piercings. The waiting chairs are super comfy!

Negative experience: I have gotten 4 piercings here over the years and had difficulties with all of them. I had to take my septum out because it never healed. I got my helix over 2 years ago and it’s still having issues. my conch took nearly 2 years as well. I got my second lobes done here as well and the piercer pierced one of the second holes way too close to the first one to where I had to take it out. It was so uneven. When I got my helix and conch at Just Another Hole, the healing has been great with no issues. I would recommend there instead. They are cheaper as well.

Fantastic experience: I went here for helping getting out a piece of jewelry that hadn’t been removed for 20 years (I had to have it out for an MRI). Even though I didn’t get the piercing here originally, they were super nice and helpful and got me all fixed up. The place seemed very clean and well put together and the staff was very pleasant. I’ll definitely give them a chance the next time I decide to get a tattoo or piercing.

Negative experience: I called in july to hook up with a tattoo artist so we could go over my design and price. Im from another state and wanted a tattoo on vacation.They gave me a number to send my designs and no one ever got in contact with me.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist is so helpful and kind and helped me a lot! The piercer there is hands-down the best piercer I’ve ever had. I got my nipples and my nose pierced and she did them so quick that I barely even felt the pain! I totally recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Took my 5 & 6 year olds here to get their ears pierced. It was $90 each. Staff was great! Super friendly. Service was fast. Johnathon did the piercings & was super informative & nice. Talked my kids through what was going on & what he was doing. Shop was clean. Definitely recommend this place! My kids are thrilled!

Fantastic experience: I recently came to this facility this past Saturday with a bunch of my friends to all get piercings. First off the ladies at the front were super nice and welcoming. It was a quick process to get set up so that we could get piercings. Kayla was not only extremely friendly and professional, but also did such an amazing job. We were shocked at how fast she was. I think her speed alone is what made most of our piercings not hurt at all. I would highly recommend her. My daughter whole group said they would love to come back and ask for her in the future!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this shop and team of professionals! Went to Brookside Body Piercing and Tattoo yesterday on a whim while out with friends for a Galentine's day. Everyone in the shop was super friendly, warm and welcoming to a troupe of 8 gals 6 of which all wanted different piercings. Lol Kayla our Pierce Queen was incredible! By far, the fastest, painless piecing I've ever had and I have several different piercings. A true professional, she was efficient quick and accommodating and was nice enough to let us all come hang out for each others piercings and pics. She made it such a great experience for everyone and I will definitely be going back for all future piercings! Shout out to Kayla and Brookside Body Piercing Tattoo team for making it such a great memorable bonding experience for all of us! :)

Negative experience: This is the worst tattoo and piercing shop I’ve ever been to. Do NOT go here. My friend and I came here an hour before close. And the owner said he was in a rush to pick up his kid. He didn’t even ask my friend where she wanted her piercing placement and didn’t use any sterilization. Also, my sisters and I got tattoos here, and they were so small, somehow the owner still messed them up and my sister had to get hers redone because the lines were uneven. I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. My friend had to get her triages removed because it was so infected and the jewelry was put on wrong. Worst experience ever!!!!

Negative experience: Horrible communication from the lady that works the desk. She knew my daughter was a minor, had us drive almost an hour (one way) back to our house to get her birth certificate to prove she’s my daughter, which is totally fine, I get that, but when we returned, she said since she’s 14 and a half and not 15, they couldn’t do the upper ear piercing, which she knew we were having done when we came in initially and she knew her age. Completely rude and unacceptable not telling us that up front. Completely unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: Brought my younger daughter in to get her ears pierced and Kayla was awesome. She was very kind, professional, and explained every step to my daughter so she would be prepared. You can tell she’s experienced. My daughter still didn’t handle it well once it happened but they were so patient and reassuring and my daughter wants to try again as soon as she can. I think a big part of that is how composed Kayla was. I’d definitely refer her to anyone kid or adult that wants to get pierced. All the staff was really nice too. Ive gone there for piercings before and the staff really cares about the job they do and are all such friendly people.

Negative experience: i got my septum pierced here about a month or so ago, and it was less than five minutes with barely any consultation. he did not mark my nose, and it was pierced crooked. you couldn’t tell it was pierced crooked until i put in a hoop. it was like 60 bucks for a crooked piercing.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 would recommend. When we arrived there was at least 6 people ahead of us. The front person Tracy rocked getting people checked in while giving everyone all the information they needed. She even made time to hype my daughter up for her first ear piercings. Jonathan did the same. He was super quick, patient, and gave clear aftercare instructions. Even with 6 people ahead of us, we were still there for the same amount of time I’d expect if there wasn’t a wait.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful place, I didn't get any photos but the ones in the other reviews do absolute justice for this place!! We happened to come here after searching for a new place to go for a girl's day getting piercings done. The staff was super sweet and friendly on greeting and very helpful and answered every question with politeness and knowledge. Myself, daughter and daughter-in-law all got piercings (8 total between us) and considering you get a little cleaning kit for aftercare, the price was very reasonable! It was just a little over $300 for all 8 piercings for what we had done and the jewelry we picked out and I would say that it was Very reasonable, especially since they do the first change out for free if you wish! I absolutely hate that I didn't catch the name of the lady that did our piercings, but she did an outstanding job and made sure everything was exactly how we liked with her own expertise included. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely be back again!

Fantastic experience: I've gotten tattoos and piercings here for years. Most recently I got a belly button piercing, and after a couple weeks it was still really swollen. I went into the shop, and within five minutes they had changed out the bar to a longer one that would allow for it to heal easier, plus they didn't charge me for the new bar. I'm incredibly grateful for such friendly and helpful staff!

Fantastic experience: This place is beautifully decorated! My daughter took these pictures while waiting on her turn for her first ear piercings! The staff was so kind and friendly - I came here a few years ago, and they pierced my rook, tragus, and first forward helix. They handled my daughter with all the proper care, I highly recommend going here! They are cash only, but do have an atm inside.

Negative experience: My experience with Brookside Tattoos has been a nightmare from start to finish. After receiving a poorly executed tattoo on my hand, I returned not once, not twice, but three times to have them fix it. Each time, they assured me they would correct the mistakes, but unfortunately, the results were still subpar. The lines remained shaky, the colors were uneven, and the overall appearance of the tattoo was far from what I had initially envisioned. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of professionalism and competence, and I would strongly caution anyone against entrusting them with their tattoo needs.

Fantastic experience: the wait wasnt bad at all, the way theyre set up is, is very organized and i enjoyed it. the wait wasnt bad i expected way longer honestly and it took 5 mins for my piercer to do it and no pain. 10/10 would recommend coming here

Negative experience: I really wish I could give this place a higher rating, but after my experience last weekend, I simply can't. I came in at about 2:15 for a basic lobe piercing. I signed in, did all my paperwork, paid up front, and found a seat in the waiting room. Now, to be fair to the business, they were extremely busy, and currently only have 1 piercer on staff. I knew there would be a wait, but I didn't have anywhere to be until 5, so I had plenty of time. Or so i thought. It was around 3:45 noticed that all the people who were in the store when I walked in had been attended to, and they were calling back people who had come in after me. At 4:15 I said to the rest of my group thatt if I was not next, we would have to leave. And of course, another person who should have been behind me in line was called back. I went to counter to see what exactly we could do about the situation. I was meant with standard customer service script. Another 15-20 minutes, we're very busy, we only have one piercer, etc. No attempt to empathize with the position that I had been put in. I was eventually offered a full refund, but I even had to wait for that as the piercer had already taken my paperwork back and was in the process of a closed-door piercing. The last thing an employee of this establishment said to me was "We hope you'll come back and give us another chance." and I'm sorry to them, but that simply is not going to happen. I should not have to give them a second chance. I shouldn't have to have spent my entire afternoon in their waiting room listening for a name that had been forgotten long ago. I should have been able to get the piercing I wanted within the 2 and half hour window I had available on a Saturday afternoon, but it just wasn't meant to be, I guess.

Fantastic experience: I got my septum pierced here and the ball fell off while I was walking to my car I couldn’t get it back on so I went back in and they were so polite they popped it right back on for me. I plan to use this shop in the future

Fantastic experience: Came here on a Saturday at 12:45 as a walk in after having a scheduled appt at another shop fall through due to the artist double booking. Brookside immediately got me in. Doyle is AMAZING at what he does!! He took my photo idea and made it to where it was completely my own. The conversation was great, the vibes were great.. it was an all around good time and I can’t wait to come back. Again, cannot recommend Doyle enough! The staff up front was also super helpful and had great customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing piercing experience at Brookside Body Piercing Tattoo! Brought my Daughter in last Saturday afternoon 1/20/2024 to get her industrial piercing. Was in and out in no time. The owner Jonathan is a cool guy and the lady that did her piercing, she is cool too and very informative about how to take care of the piercing and all the do's and don't's with the piercing. She did an amazing job with the piercing, and being thorough. Am very satisfied with her process. Their shop is very clean and cozy. It's a very cute shop. Negative experience: Not a place for everyone, very down graded and a bit dirty. Customer service was not good. I wanted a nose piercing so after filling out all this no nonsense paper work I was offered some of the cheapest jewelry that looked like a nose ring for toddlers. The young lady was not attentive to my needs they charge 75$ for the service but are extremely limited on choices the jewelry didn't look clean or real.. So I passed on their services, I told the lady that I need better options and that I felt a bit uneasy with the environment. She shrugged her shoulders and said ok ripped up my info and walked away no thank you for coming no can we help on another way. Just ripped up the paper and walked away.. Honestly I don't have a bad review it's just that some places like this should just close down or do a complete renovation if you think that you're going to do business in filth than count me out!

Fantastic experience: I visited their location to have my nose ring reinserted, as I had caused it to become a bit tender by attempting to do so myself. KAYLA was the Tecnician who assited me. I was very impressed with her professionalism & her level of concern overall for my general well-being. She explained her moves beforehand which in turn aided me in being more calm when I felt any pain. Kayla was also very nice. My experience there today was a pleasant one, therefore I highly recommend using Kayla & patronizing BROOKSIDE TATOO!!

Fantastic experience: I love this shop. A couple of years ago I took my 7-year-old and 16-year-old to get ear piercings here. We were all pierced by women, and it was a great experience. Today I went in to get my second earlobe piercings done. The women at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and Jonathan did an excellent job with the piercings. The shop lobby is beautiful and comfy, as an added bonus. I’m sure I’ll be back!

I recently had my septum which is going to get repierced, and the piercer told me they can just keep redoing it until I’m happy with it which was so sweet I’m also planning on getting my nostril pierced here as well. Fantastic experience: First, the two individuals upfront were so incredibly kind and insightful! They answered all my questions and made me feel heard and like they really cared about my situation. I had one piece of jewelry changed out and then had my flat pierced! The piercer was super kind and patient with me and made sure to answer all my questions. Negative experience: I went to get a lip piercing and the lady pierced it off center and crooked inside my mouth, the jewelry wasn’t long enough either. I took the piercing out and went to try to get it re-pierced and she made it crooked again. I wouldn’t go back here, it was a complete waste of my money and time.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!! I have a lot of piercings I have never had an experience like this. 1. Nothing was layed out and sanitized when I got into the room so there was no way of knowing if it was even cleaned. I got my lip pierced yesterday. The man pierced it from the inside to out with no clamp, very odd. At first the jewelry was too small. He took it out and put another bar in. I had to remove the piercing today because the bar was still to small and started to swell over the jewelry.

Negative experience: Don't go here for your piercings!! They seriously messed up my best friends tongue piercing and I got my industrial on the same day. I apparently don't have the correct anatomy for the industrial on my right ear, which is the one we did it on, but the lady said it would be fine and did it there anyways. Now I've googled correct vs incorrect industrial piercing and have realized just how bad mine was done! 1/10 I would not recommend you go here for your piercings!!

Negative experience: Don’t go here!!! They could of seriously messed me up for life. I paid $75 for my tongue for them to put in the wrong bar and place it wrong. I’m glad I went and got a second opinion. They also wouldn’t even refund me even though they seriously messed up. And told me they could redue it.. but I’m not trusting them again. Also the girls don’t have a good attitude honestly traumatized for life. I’m sticking with my norm cause this could of ended so bad.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Brookside Tattoo for piercings for almost ten years. They have been my trusted shop for their professionalism and well trained staff. However, their new piercer Kayla impressed me beyond expectations during my most recent piercing. They were personable while maintaining professionalism and were extremely knowledgeable about their craft. It was clear that they took their job seriously which made me feel comfortable and at ease. I had a septum piercing and not only did the piercing itself not hurt due to their precision, but I never even felt them touch my face in the first place (how did they do this??? It’s still a mystery to me!) I hadn’t mentioned this to them since I have had other facial piercings and knew what to expect, but I have a facial sensitivity that makes touch uncomfortable to experience on my face and I felt no discomfort at all during this experience beside the quick pinch of needle. The piercing was so clean and accurate that I have virtually no swelling the day after and soreness only at touch of the piercing site. This was the best piercing I have ever had. Additionally, a piece of the jewelry that was put in fell off within a few hours of the piercing and I was unable to recover that piece. The workers there were so understanding and replaced it immediately, no questions asked. Brookside Tattoo will continue to be my only piercer. Fantastic experience: I went for my first piercing as an adult. Everyone was so friendly! Absolutely loved the esthetic of the place and the energy of the people.
