Fantastic experience: Got my daughter’s ears pierced last weekend from Jashi. What an amazing experience, my daughter was nervous, but they took such good care of her - Within an hour after we left, she asked, When can I go back to get my second holes pierced in my ear? The staff was so kind and patient with her even through her nervousness. Fantastic experience: I recently got my first cover up tattoo by @the_tattooed_girl. One of the best tattoo experiences ever. She took the time to work on my tattoo design to my liking and explained the whole cover up process. After my two sessions with her, you cant even tell where my original tattoo was as the cover up is so flawless. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo about a week ago now with Heena and she did an amazing job! She was so patient with me and answered all the questions I had to help with the nerves. She will also work with you until you are completely happy with the design and placement as well as she will be completely honest with you on what may or may not work when it comes to certain details. Fantastic experience: After a long while of choosing what tattoo I wanted as my first I finally came up with a fairly large realism piece that I knew would take a while. And after hours of searching for an artist that I could trust do this piece, I came across Heena at blackwork. The studio itself was very clean, and the process in booking an appointment was smooth and easy. Overall, I had an extremely comfortable experience with this studio, and I absolutely loved the tattoo I left with.

Fantastic experience: Blackwork Tattoo Studio never disappoints me! I am always greeted with the best energy the minute I walk in, and everyone that works there is so nice. I went there a few months ago for advice on an infected conch piercing (done at another shop I won't mention) and they were very helpful. They recommended different jewelry and gave me tips on how to keep it clean- it eventually healed perfectly. I recently went to get my rook changed to a hoop and asked for advice on what piercing I should get next. Mergo was so enthusiastic and patient despite me asking a million questions. She even explained what piercings would go best with the anatomy of my ear, and we went with a forward helix. It is the cutest piercing ever and definitely my new favorite!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place. The last time I got tattooed was several years ago in California; so when I moved to NJ, I was cautious and did my research prior to committing to a new place. This place accepts walk-ins, and I was impressed with their cleanliness as well as their approachability. The artist Heena is quite talented plus her professionalism was amazing. She was also very light with the needle; it was not painful nor was she heavy handed nor did she overwork the tattoo. They were very informative about the healing process (which I appreciated despite having like many tattoos for over the past decade or two) - shows their commitment. Plus they also emailed me the tattoo aftercare list. I think I met with the tattoo owner too? She was quite lovely and engaging. Attached you will see my tattoo fresh and wrapped with second skin to the left; and right is about 2 weeks post tattooed. Highly recommend

They were able to take myself & best friend last minute … I had Heena who was able to guide me & my friend of 20 years in our matching tattoos (each others birth flowers) both a custom design. Fantastic experience: Nelio is my guy, he’s done 4 pieces for me over the last few years and is always down for a creative challenge. He excels with black line, all fonts and characters (like the Jersey Devil on my back) he tattoos with great self focus and control, you can tell he is comfortable in what he’s doing. The collaboration Nelio prefers with his clients really stands out, you do not get this at most places. He will take your ideas and create masterpieces. He’s an extremely skilled artist and great dude, fortunate to have him as a a friend and my artist.

Fantastic experience: Heena did such an amazing job on the second of three Phoenixes I have for a half sleeve and a small tattoo on my other arm. She is such a talented artist and so easy to talk to. I provided her a sketch/idea each time and she completely exceeded my expectations. Rob finished my last Phoenix for my half sleeve and is such an amazing artist as well. He is extremely talented, detail oriented, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I will definitely be going back to see both of them.

Fantastic experience: I drove 1.5 hr to get a tattoo from Heena . She is very patience and put my nerves at ease when she did my lotus for my birthday last year and she did my cherry blossom over the summer. I am tempted to get another one but I was told I am becoming addicted. I also went to this shop to get my targus piercing about 5 years ago I can’t remember the guy that did it.

Fantastic experience: Blackwork is a great shop with friendly employees! I've gotten two tattoos from Leg and a second lobe piercing from Mergo, who are both great at what they do! I always feel comfortable in this shop and cleanliness is a main priority during appointments.

Fantastic experience: I went in to get my nose repierced and had the most wonderful time. They did a great job of making me feel safe the whole time and I was blessed with getting Mergo as my piercer! They explained everything as they did it even when they were simply putting their hand on my face! Everything was completely professional and I love my new piercing!

I’ve been there so often she immediately recognizes me and makes me feel welcomed. I go to Jashi and Leg for my tattoos. They’re such dope and talented people. Positive experience: Great execution from greet to leaving. I did find it pricey, but then again. I had my own in 07 and my sons in 2024 on his 16th bday Mehul was sweet and full of grace. We had an incredible experience. I would recommend bringing cash to avoid extra fees and make sure you bring ur cell. Ascthe form has to be completed online. I'm one of those ppl who tend to leave their phones behind so bring it, fill it out and otherwise it's an easy process.
