Fantastic experience: Hannah is the absolute best! I went just about a week ago and got a morning glory vine on my arm and I have gotten so many compliments! She really takes her time to make sure everything is perfect and talks you through it the whole time! 10/10 would recommend, can’t wait to go back for more !

Fantastic experience: i’ve been going to golden spiral for a little over a year now and i’ve gotten a total of 5 tattoos there so far. 4 from justin and one from hannah. i’ve also gotten my double nostrils from wendi. everyone there that i’ve interacted with has been incredibly nice and the overall vibe of the shop is so comfortable and welcoming, unlike a lot of other shops. every time anyone asks me who does my tattoos i get excited to tell them about this place. i genuinely recommend it to everyone i talk to. it probably is one of my favorite places in the entire world :) 10/10

Fantastic experience: This is not my first time getting tattooed by the very wonderful Hannah Lawson and it most definitely will not be my last. I had approached her in September to help me create a memorial piece for my grandmother who passed earlier this year, and Hannah did an amazing job with this piece! She was very flexible with my requests on the design and reconfiguring it to accommodate my vision. She was so nice and walked me through the process and constantly checked on me to make sure I wasnt uncomfortable at any point. I had expressed my worries about getting my first full color piece and reassured me that if i take care of it right it will still look just as good fully healed. It also helps that she is just all around very funny and easy to talk to!! Thank you so much to Hannah, this tattoo means so much to me and I am so in love with how it looks!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Golden Spiral for several years and have always been really happy with the results. Hannah Lawson has done a couple of pieces recently and they are amazing. Hannah does really nice color work if that’s what you’re looking for. I’ve also had a couple done by Sam King and couldn’t be happier. Plus it’s clean, staff is courteous and professional.

He was easy to schedule with, accommodated me with back to back days (so grateful), & responsive! Even during the consultation, I felt at ease that I would get the quality tattoo that I wanted. I reached out to book a sentimental tattoo of my angel kitty’s nose print and she was so supportive and took such great care, not only with applying such an important tattoo, but she continuously handled the keepsake print of his nose so gently. Fantastic experience: Wendi is absolutely amazing! I had a Daith piercing done yesterday and she made sure that I was comfortable and talked me through everything. She was constantly checking in with me to make sure that I was okay, and I really appreciated that. I will definitely see Wendi whenever I decide to get another piercing

Negative experience: Horrible place went to get my cheek dermal change regardless what she said it smy face and i should change it she was telling me i shouldnt even tho its my choice my face-and say u can ask my a thousand time im not gone do it how can yall tell somebody what to do with there face loosing out on money i wouldn't recommend

Fantastic experience: Wendi is the only piercer I'm going to from now on! A few years ago I went to another studio to get my helix done, but it never healed properly and I had to take it out. When I went to Golden Spiral, Wendi explained to me that I actually didn't have the anatomy for a helix, and that the other piercer had done it as a flat piercing (which they never explained to me at the other studio). Wendi took a look at my ear and knew which piercings would work best for me and which ones would not. She was very upfront and clear about the healing processes and explained everything to me. I had walked in to get one piercing, and came out with something I never would have thought of getting before because of her expertise. She also explained what she was doing throughout the process of the piercing, which was helpful!

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo with Hannah and she was AMAZING!! it was a sternum/stomach and although painful, totally worth it!!! She was beyond accommodating, and made everything so calming and fun! I have already recommended her to all my friends and family, I truly can’t speak highly enough about Hannah and her work!

Took my youngest in for a double lip piercing and Wendi explained in detail why she could only do one side in terms a teenager could understand. I appreciate her honesty and professionalism, a lesser person whould have done the procedure and taken the money. She choose to take less money and do the right thing. I have been tattooed and piecered for 28 years and I highly recommend her. She is miles above everyone else and if she's busy and can't get to you that day do yourself a favor and wait, don't go somewhere else. She is awesome!!!!

I have 4 wonderful adult children now. I was very nervous. Justin did an amazing job of designing what was in my head for the tattoo and it turned out beautiful! Negative experience: I was a measly walk-in who wanted a tattoo of a possum hanging from my ear. I even brought the exact image I wanted. The person who graciously took me was Justin. He had a person come in and I totally understood and waited patiently. When he could finally get to me, he showed me the drawing he worked on (which, if you remember, I brought in an exact image of what I wanted and showed it to him). It was LITERALLY a Clipart of some generic possum that looked like it got cartoonishly ran over by a car. If someone brings in the exact thing they want and you downgrade it because of your inability as an artist, then don't take on the project. I only gave this a two because I loved the tat I got from Hannah a while back. I hope Justin reads this as a moment to grow and not as a brutal criticism.

Fantastic experience: I came in recently after falling in love with Hayden’s work. The studio is really clean and nice and Hayden did an amazing job. I am looking forward to booking more sessions with her in the future.

Fantastic experience: A mind blowing experience. Hannah went so far above and beyond any expectations I could have ever had. She turned my 30 second clipart chop job into a work of absolute art. Of the 10+ different artists I've been to she is absolutely number 1. The entire shop, all the other folks working, every single thing about the place and those that filled it deserve this 5 star review. Such a light working hand and such clean lines, use of color was a concerted effort to make not only this piece pop out but to compliment the others next to it. I don't see a world in which I would ever go to another artist to have work done. Aftercare instructions were on point, the shop is immaculately clean, and even though I have plenty of other tattoos; Hannah walked me through the process step my step to make sure I knew what, when, and why every detail was being done. This was such an amazing time I couldn't walk out the door without booking another appointment. It can't come soon enough.

Fantastic experience: I ADORE my most recent tattoo from Golden Spiral! Most want to know about final result and price above all: Hannah Lawson's design, color enrichment, and line work are fantastic and the pricing is extremely reasonable. 4+ hour tattoo and the artist made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I appreciated that she thinks about the client and their pain level by alternating sensitive areas to give the body a break. Cannot wait for my next session!

Negative experience: got a conch piercing here two years ago, and the experience I had at the shop was professional and convenient, so they get a star for that. however, wendi gave me a bar for my piercing that was wayyy too long, like just a ridiculous length. unsurprisingly, the bar kept getting caught on my hair, bumped in the shower, bumped when I took my glasses on and off, etc, and I developed an irritation bump at the site of the piercing. I went back to the shop looking for help, only to be told that I have a keloid (which was not correct) and that there was nothing they could do, refused to put in a shorter bar because it had only been 5 months and they needed to wait 6 months. I actually ended up going to the doctor about it and was told that the bump would go away on its own eventually, which it did, thankfully. the whole experience left me thinking that these people don't really know what they're doing.

Fantastic experience: I came in to do a rook piercing 2 years ago and came back recently to get some help with my navel piercing. Wendi is the best and a literal blessing in the life of anyone who wants a piercing!! The prices are very reasonable and it includes jewelry into the price. I felt very comfortable and left with valuable information.

Fantastic experience: Hannah is a fabulous artist and super talented tattooer! I’m lucky enough to have four of her pieces, and every time, she knocks it out of the park. She is super patient and takes time to get design, size and placement just right for each client- working really well with different body shapes, sizes, and anatomy… and explains in depth each step of the way. She’s not afraid or offended to make changes to fit each individual. If you have positioning issues (bad back, bad knee, etc), she works hard to make sure you are comfortable, providing extra pillows and continually checking in to make sure you are doing well during the tattoo, and takes as many breaks as you need. In a personal level, she’s definitely a bright spot in the day, something we all need. If you are looking for an amazing piece of artwork to wear proudly on your body, Hannah is one of the best around. Go get yerself tattooed by her!

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife have gotten multiple tattoos with Hannah. She does great work with clean lines, and is very engaging with making sure her clients needs are met without compromising the quality of the tattoos. Will absolutely be going back for more in the near future.

Negative experience: I got my (definitely last) tattoo here a couple of weeks ago. The review is not for the whole shop, but for one artist who possesses artistic spirit and knowledge, but is very bad in business decisions and evaluations of his works. I was told one price before and then after the tattoo was done the price was higher by $$$, and the only thing I got was "sorry". The shop is generally very clean and the others are very friendly, but since the artist is part of this shop, I only give two stars...
