Fantastic experience: We had the BEST experience at **No Egrets in Clarksville**! My daughter Kalynn has been asking to get her ears pierced for over a year, and we finally decided to make it happen. She was nervous (and maybe threw in a few fake tears ), but **Mary Jane** was absolutely incredible through it all — so kind, patient, and funny! She took her time explaining everything, helped Kalynn feel totally comfortable, and even managed to turn a few tears into laughs. By the end, Kalynn was smiling ear to ear (literally ). If you’re thinking about getting a piercing or taking your kid for their first one, I 100% recommend Mary Jane and the team at No Egrets. Fantastic experience: My husband and I met Cory (madx.ink) and Tyler (calijoker_) at AnimeInk Richmond this year. As a wife who was waiting around as my husband was getting tatt'd by these two fantastic artists, they made me feel welcomed in their booth!!! I initially contacted Cory because my husband was extremely interested in getting a Dandadan piece by him. We browsed his artwork for a long time and Cory was very reasonable in his price. We didn't know we were in for a fun journey when Cory asked my husband if he was ok if Cory and Tyler both worked on his large piece! Cory and I were in full communication on Instagram and in person up until the event was over! He will get back to you despite of his busy schedule. Cory and Tyler are both personable artists who will treat you like they've known you for a very long time. The support I received from both of them as someone who only had 2 tiny tattoos at the time made me feel super comfortable. I appreciated the support they gave me when I mentioned I was also going in for a large piece at the convention! I pay super close attention to detail and noticed how clean they kept their area, making sure they wiped everything down and wore gloves. 10/10 recommend both of them. If you are near Clarksville, TN and looking for amazing tattoo artists, go check Cory and Tyler out. If you come across them at a tattoo convention, keep their handles in mind. Fantastic experience: I’m not one to leave reviews but my man Scotty changed my life with the most badass chest piece I could’ve asked for. Went above and beyond any expectation I had. This was not just a regular tat, but a pretty rough scar cover-up. He was able to give me my body back. 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: I would probably go elsewhere for your piercings!! I went in to get 2nd’s pierced. They were not even. I called them & they said to remove the side that I didn’t like & wait a few weeks and come back in to redo. The next try was not even either. So I called back & explained, they said to come back in. So I went back in yesterday & a different employee pierced me again! Guess what, it’s still uneven, & they charged me full price, which I wasn’t expecting, since they haven’t managed to get them even. I don’t think I’m being unreasonable. I have given NoEgrets 3 opportunities & paid twice! Still don’t have piercings that are even. Maybe don’t measure with paper towels next time. Do better! I was considering going in with a friend to get tattoos together, but I don’t have any reason to think they will do a competent job! Beware!!

Fantastic experience: Just recently got my very first tattoo and I couldn't have picked a better place or artist. I took the idea of wanting a cardinal and an iris together and Crystal created this incredible piece of art and I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect. I was pretty nervous going into the appointment and didn't really know what to expect but she instantly put me at ease and made sure that I was happy with the design, size and placement. I haven't even had it for a week and I have already gotten so many compliments. I can't stop staring at it - y'all, it's beautiful I can't recommend Crystal enough! I will DEFINITELY be returning for my next one :) UPDATE JUNE 2025: I just had Crystal do my other arm with a tattoo of my sweet Lily Mae and oh my goodness - I love it. My vision was to have my cat looking at the cardinal that she did for my Mamaw last year and she brought that to life so beautifully!

Fantastic experience: I just want to say, Jason absolutely killed it! I’ve been waiting to write this review because I wanted to wait longer on the healing process. I went in really scared before getting my septum pierced and the staff were super comforting and friendly. Jason was very knowledgeable, he walked me through every thing I needed to know prior to getting my septum done. The piercing came out symmetrical and straight . Not to mention how fast the healing process has also been, nothing but a breeze.

Fantastic experience: Michelle is very cool and knowledgeable about her craft. Told me details I had no clue about and reopened my piercings in no time. Definitely a great piercer, she’s the best. (Mitchpierces) on ig.

Negative experience: Decent outcome, but wildly overpriced *EDIT* 2 years later I came back for the first time today, gotta change the 3 star review to a 1 star. I called and asked if they carry 1G (7mm) tapers, got told yes but I'd have to come in to talk with the piercer. I made the drive across town, waited in the lobby for a hot minute just for the piercer to come out and tell me they didn't have any tapers in that size. Complete waste of my time.

I more specifically recommend tattoo artist Crystal Rose (@crystal_rose_art_ on instagram) whom with her light hand makes any 5+ hour long tattoo bearable let alone a 30 min one. Crystal has transformed a meaningful concept into a reality and I am beyond pleased with the art she has provided. Although this chef themed sleeve is far from being done, I continue to find beauty in every piece. Her attention to detail is impeccable and, 1 year into her professional career, I believe she is just getting better. I also believe she has won a few awards for some of her pieces? Fantastic experience: Had a great tattoo experience with Crystal. This was my first tattoo and all of my siblings have had allergic reactions to theirs. Crystal reassured me they use vegan ink, so the risk of allergy is low, and so far I've had no issues. I'll be back for more!

Fantastic experience: It’s been a month since I got my septum pierced by MaryJane and I cannot recommend this shop and her enough. They pierced my septum perfectly and it couldn’t be healing any better (little to no discomfort/crusties and feels like I’ve had it forever). MJ explained the process from beginning to end and gave me their contact if I had any follow-up questions or concerns. I will definitely be back to replace my jewelry and start working on my ears. Fantastic experience: Went to get some ink with my best friend the day after Christmas. The place was busy! But the staff were all very organized and accommodating. Plenty of seating out in the lobby. We were walk-ins, but even though it was busy, we were in the chair getting ink within 30 minutes of walking in. The tattoos came out great and were exactly what we wanted. Would definitely recommend No Egrets to anyone!

Fantastic experience: No Egrets has been a very welcoming shop! Cory (@madx.ink on insta) has been my artist since the beginning of my Ghibli piece starting back in April with Princess Mononoke. It's bittersweet for it to be coming to a close but there isnt a better artist for anime tattoos you'll find in Clarksville. And for having only been tattooing for about a year and a half, his work is mighty impressive. Highly recommend, flexible, great personality, and easy to work with! 5 stars isn't enough for Cory.

Fantastic experience: I visited Crystal at No Egrets for my birthday! I had her cover a tattoo I got from another place in Clarksville many years ago. I always hated the original piece and was afraid to give anyone a chance to fix it, but choosing Crystal to design a piece and tattoo it on my body was the best decision I could have made. I am extremely picky when it comes to my artists. Not only did Crystal do a FANTASTIC JOB covering a dark lined tattoo on my ankle, she gave me something I LOVE. The environment she created at No Egrets—both in the style and aesthetic of the room/building AND in her personality, I felt safe, respected, and really enjoyed my time. I will be visiting again!

Fantastic experience: I've been to no egrets many times in the past few years and the experience is always excellent! Michelle has done both my septum and central labret piercings my best friend's septum, and my sister's nostrils, septum, and medusa. The environment is so comfortable and the shop is GORGEOUS. Michelle is great at explaining aftercare and the process and makes all of her clients super comfortable. Everything is super clean in the shop. I can't wait to get more piercings at no egrets. Fantastic experience: Jason pierced my nose on Monday 9/23 and I am IN LOVE with it. He was so friendly and chatty the whole time. He’s sarcastic but the good kind!! Never once was I nervous while talking to him. 10/10 I will definitely go to him for future piercings. I was nervous about the piercing just because needles near my face don’t sound too pleasant but it’s something I really wanted to do, he did amazing with keeping me calm and distracting me so I wouldn’t totally freak and wimp out lol

He was a saint from start to finish by being very flexible with my schedule and also going above and beyond during the process to ensure i was relaxed and comfortable during our long session. The studio itself was very clean and welcoming. The front desk was helpful when I arrived and when I finished. Fantastic experience: The best tattoo shop! Crystal is an amazing artist. She cares about her clients and does beautiful work. I took my dad in for his first ever tattoo at the age of 75. As Grateful Dead fans, we were getting matching dancing bears. When we walked into Crystal's room, she had a Grateful Dead playlist playing, took the time to evaluate my dad's skin to place the tattoo in the best possible area, and answer any questions he had about the process. It made our ink session that much more memorable. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and they love what they do. I've had several pieces done by her, and I will have several more!

Fantastic experience: Overall was a great experience. Kristofer did a wonderful job on my daughter’s first tattoo. I know she will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Jason pierced my Ashley and was kind, funny, thorough, and professional! The service was quick and to the point. He went over the procedure, pros, cons, and after care. After about 10 days, I had to go in to get a shorter bar after swelling went down. Again, he and the girls at the front were amazing. 2 weeks after, I went to get a shorter bar so that it was more flushed, this time I had Mary Jane. She was awesome! She quickly resized my jewelry, even showed me some other jewelry they had on hand. I didn't get the girls' names at the front desk or over the phone but each of them not only exudes excellence in service and professionalism (I'm talking from hand washing procedures down to after care), but are all very personable as well. 1000/10 recommend this studio for your piercing needs! Now I'll have to come back for tattoos!

Fantastic experience: I got my tattoo over at No Egrets and it was amazing! The staff there were all nice, easy to talk too, and Crystal did a fantastic job on my tattoo. She helped me plan out what to do and laid out different options incase I wanted to try other ways it was perfect! I'll for sure be going back there to continue my tattoos!

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo from Crystal a few days ago and I am super happy with it! Crystal really took the time to make sure everything was to my liking (design, placement etc.). She is very friendly and personable and a very talented artist!! Super clean shop and staff was very friendly.

Fantastic experience: The place is definitely intimidating if this is your first time going to a tattoo shop, however, it wasn’t as scary as I assumed. The staff were very kind, relaxed, and chill. Not only that, but the staff themselves answered all questions posed with thoughtful and informative answers! My piercing came out great and I got detailed instructions, a card with a date to change the bar, and wound wash. Really lovely place and in love with my piercing ❤️!

Fantastic experience: Crystal did an amazing job on our tattoos! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to work with. She made sure we liked the sizing & placing and made sure we felt comfortable with making any changes. Definitely would recommend!!

Fantastic experience: me and my sister went in to see kaialya and had the best experience!! she was so sweet and informative and made sure to talk us through everything! she did an amazing job and has beautiful line work!

Fantastic experience: Crystal did a HUGE leg tattoo on me and although it was painful, crystal made it the best experience possible. Seriously though she tattooed me for 5 hours Her creative touch helped to make it cohesive with the other tattoos on my leg. Anyone would be lucky to get tattooed by her, highly recommend!

Positive experience: Good work! We had Kaialya, and she did a great job on our tattoos. My friend and I were both walk ins and got small fine line tattoos. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the professionalism shown. I understand that most studios have a sense of causality, but while I was in the chair another artist from the studio was getting a stencil done by our artist. She did a great job! But it felt like she was very distracted by her coworker for most of it. Overall, I would definitely recommend! 8/10

Negative experience: I’m posting pictures! I was there in march 2024 and My experience at this shop was terrible! Scotty did my tattoo and what should have been fairly simple work for an artist with over 25 years experience turned into a big disappointment. When he was done he didn’t even clean the area really good and wrapped me up with a paper towel as bandage and an ace wrap. It took forever to heal and got infected 3 days later the shading is awful missing color spots and I now have terrible visible scars on my hand where he was so rough and going over the same area more than several times. It’s just altogether a bad tattoo and I will never go back there and wouldnt recommend anyone to see him. I don’t know anything about any of the other artist but I hope they are better than him I wish I could get a refund ! I hope everything is visible in the pics
