Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came in for a very sentimental tattoo for my kids both hands and from the start things felt off. The artist chose to freehand the tattoo instead of using a stencil, was extremely heavy-handed, and did not clean my hands afterward. At the time, I didn’t feel confident enough to speak up, which I regret. Once I got home and washed my hands, I could clearly see how bad the work was. The lines on the stars are uneven and messy, and the hearts on my left hand honestly look like a child did them. I went to another artist to see if the tattoo could be fixed, and they turned me away, saying it looked dark and blown out and recommended laser removal and starting over. Thankfully, a second artist is willing to try to help but this never should have happened. I wish I had done more research before trusting this shop. The experience felt very transactional, not personal or professional, especially considering how meaningful this tattoo was to me. We agreed on $160, yet I still paid $200 my mistake but there were red flags throughout the appointment that I ignored, trusting the artist to do quality work. Now I’m stuck with this until it heals and possibly beyond. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: DO NOT get piercings here!!! My daughter got snake bites done I tried telling the piercer Korey they were uneven he said he would fix it that it was because his marker was too big, like what the heck, that was a stupid reason. I should’ve just got up and walked out then but I didn’t and after it was done they were so off we had to go to a different place have it taken out and re-done and they’re perfect now, this was my daughters face and he could care less the place itself was just unfriendly. We went to Electra Art the staff was friendly the place was clean and the piercer Elizabeth did a phenomenal job she took her time made sure the placing was perfect she didn’t just start piercing with no care in the world they’re only open until 9pm but it’s worth the wait to get the piercing you want done the right way! Trust me !! This was a horrible experience I regret. A day that should’ve been exciting for my daughter getting her first piercing turned out horrible but I’m happy to have it fixed by a more professional place that care about there clients. Go see Elizabeth !!!!!!! for your piercings.

Negative experience: I really dislike the place of my piercings (my fault for giving the ok) and they didn’t use a traditional needle. They use some sort of little plastic hickey thing, Like a stapler. And then they put butterfly backs on the backs of new piercings, which are some of the worst that you can have and then they advise you to use antibacterial soap on your new piercing, which is not correct either. I really debated whether or not to write a review, but I wish I had known all of this before I went.

Negative experience: I went in to get two ear piercings and paid $60. They used a disposable piercing gun, similar to ones you can buy on Amazon, and the earrings were cheap my ears started turning green i had to take them out. I would recommend going somewhere else for a better experience.

Fantastic experience: Spent the weekend in Corpus and decided to get my second piercing. Looked up the reviews and asked around from a few people. I was referred to Tattoo Nation to see Kory. The atmosphere is nice, people are very friendly and the facility is very clean. Kory has a gentle hand and explains everything before starting the process. No long wait time or appointment needed like some of the other places. The price is very reasonable. When I return to Corpus again, I will ask for Kory to do my third piercing. I have had no problems with pain, inflammation or infection. This place is very clean and the place to go for any piercing. I didn’t get a tattoo but the artist there is very talented and friendly as well. He takes his time and does good work.

Negative experience: My wife got a tongue piercing and they pierced her vein. I wouldn’t go here for piercing. It’s a terrible experience.

Negative experience: I got my vertical labret pierced not too long ago from here, I was told to lay on my back and move my face to the side instead on just sitting up to mark it correctly and the I had to tell the lady to move the pre marking multiple times and then when she finally pierced it, it came out crooked and not where it was marked.
