Fantastic experience: This was my very first tattoo and I was kind of nervous. Miles walked me through everything and answered every question that i had. He was very professional. He did a great job on my tattoo and didn't mind adjusting the design for me. He explained all the aftercare with me and was very thorough. The office was very clean and had a very good vibe to it. I would definitely recommend this place and if i decide to get another tattoo this is the place i will go.

Fantastic experience: I was tattooed by Emily, and I cannot speak highly enough of the shop and her work! She met with me for a consult, and listened to my ideas in depth. When I met with her for my tattoo, she had a lovely design that incorporated all my ideas! I got a floral leg piece, and her line work is bold and lovely.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic! I had an old ugly barcode tattoo on my bicep that desperately needed a cover up. I decided I wanted a mourning dove, and thought about a least the broad of the wing covering up the barcode, and a top-down view of the bird. Emily, my tattoo artist, then talked about how a greyscale tattoo was the best to cover up the black bars, and her stencil worked out perfectly over the old tattoo. She also told me how long it would take, (from 10am till 6pm with a lunch break) and that was the exact time it took to do with an extra 30 minutes to spare! You can't tell there was another tattoo under it. Very beautiful and awesome job!

First off, the shop itself: it is spotlessly clean, the front desk is so friendly and helpful, every artist is friendly and professional, and it's such a comfortable setting. Regarding my specific artist, Jordin Lauterbach: all I can say is WOW!! She far exceeded my expectations regarding my piece. I gave her a glimmer of an idea and she ran with it. I am blown away by her creativity and the quality of her work. Every single time I go in public, people stop me and ask who did it. I went to get a massage and the massage therapist said it’s the prettiest and most realistic she’s ever seen, and she’s seen a lot. lol. It is absolutely stunning and I couldn't be happier. I definitely plan to have another piece created/tattooed by Jordin in the future. Bonus: she is such a kind, sweet person and is a pleasure to spend all those hours alongside! I can't recommend Jordin and Rebel Muse enough! 5 stars across the board!

Negative experience: Please don’t get a tattoo here. I got a cover up and instantly hated the cover up more than the original tattoo. I hesitated on this review because I liked my artist but every time I look at it I can‘t get over how wonky the circle looks. Also the lack of shading on parts of the angel and inconsistent linework… felt lazy. I understand circles are fairly unforgiving shapes but I wish I would have just kept my old tattoo. Now I have to live with this mistake or pay more for a removal or another cover up which will be hard because it’s so dark. Don’t trust this place enough to come back and get a touch up. Was $850 also. Really not proud of it.

Fantastic experience: This was a shot in the dark I have old tattoos that I’ve been trying to get covered and had been turned down by a lot of shops but not this one. I walked in Emily greeted me with great energy and began going over the process. It took two sessions for the white out and we just got started on the cover up today and I absolutely love it. The shop is inviting, everyone is welcoming and professional. Emily is a one of a kind artist and I can’t wait to do our next session left is before right is the work in progress and a full days work of tattooing. I am so happy I found this shop after relocating from Virginia and love it

Negative experience: Shop around before going here! Prices are 4 to 5 times higher than ANY other tattoo shop. I made the mistake of trusting them as a reputable shop only to find out that they are price gouging. Please do your research by visiting other shops and by talking to other people before giving them a crazy high deposit.

I was getting a memorial tattoo and it came out *beautifully*. Emily took the ideas I had and worked with me to make something even better than I had imagined. Her work is precise and beautiful (dealing with an all the way around the arm band + filled in blackwork + some really delicate shading really showcases her artistry) - even my mom, who is decidedly NOT a fan of tattoos was really impressed with how beautifully it came out. Negative experience: I urge everyone to check around to get estimates from other tattoo artists to compare pricing before you make the same mistake I made. I came in with another person and we both wanted tattoos. We sat down with the artists to go over the designs and were placed on the schedule for full day sessions at $1500 each. We assumed that was just the cost of a tattoo so paid the deposits and left. We trusted them since we haven't gotten a tattoo in over 20 years. One of us was charged a $250 deposit and the other a $400 deposit. We didn't know there was a difference until we left and discussed it. After talking with several friends that have tattoo's, we were told that price was WAY too high for what we were getting done, one tattoo on the upper arm about 4-5 inches big. We decided to get some other quotes and we were told by other reputable shops that our tattoos would take 2-3 hours to complete and the price was $300. We were shocked that Rebel Muse was charging 5 times higher than others. This isn't just a little higher, it's a HUGE difference. We decided to go back and talk to them, 10 days before our scheduled appointments to discuss pricing and the deposit difference. They did not care and said that's the price and we would have to forfeit the deposits if we cancelled. I asked if they could at least refund me the difference in deposit amounts ($400 vs $250) and I was told they would check and get back to me. I never heard back from them. This was a very bad experience and the customer service here is non-existent. I get that prices can be different at different locations/different artists but this is ridiculous. I'm not doubting their work may be good but price gouging is where I draw the line! This was a huge and costly mistake on my end. Unfortunately, this establishment won't do anything to make this experience right. Don't let this happen to you!

Fantastic experience: Everything from the consultation to getting the tattoo was a breeze! Everyone was polite, professional, and wonderful to talk with! It was my first tattoo so of course I came loaded with questions and some nerves, but Emily answered all my questions and did a fantastic job navigating me through the design phase/consultation, getting the tattoo, and the aftercare process. She did an amazing job with the line work and I didn't run into any problems during the healing process. I look forward to going back to Rebel Muse for my future tattoos!

She did an amazing job! she’s kind and approachable, and has a very precise and gentle hand- much less pain then i’ve had with tattoos in the past, but still a great result! We were able to discuss and modify the design, while also accounting for future add-ons/embellishments. The studio, in addition to being well sanitized, LOOKS bright and clean. Would definitely recommend for any first timers intimidated by studios that look like a punk rock concert restroom hallway (nothing wrong with those, but I like the Rebel Muse vibe). Miles fully cleaned his station before switching to my brother after completing my tattoo. The conversation was light and fun throughout the process and getting to know our artist was a treat. Fantastic experience: I will let my husband put a review in for his experience with the booking process and having to deal with the very unpleasant receptionist, Kelly. I will speak on my fabulous experience at the Dallas location from the moment we walked in to the moment we were back in the parking lot. I walked in with a vision for a cover up and redo and found out the area I wanted to use wouldn’t accommodate. But that didn’t stop Dax. He was determined to help me find a solution. And boy did he! He worked that iPad and cam up with art that was better than I had envisioned. The execution was seamless. And the end result made em speechless. He had taken my mom’s handwriting and recreated it to my skin. I will definitely be speaking in my experience and letting people know of his talents. It was over before I knew it and the lines are super clean. I'll be coming back here to get more tattoos from Dax in the future.
