Fantastic experience: I have had multiple sessions with Nicole Clemance and will continue to return. She has impeccable standards, the studio is always immaculate and accepting of queer/LGBTI persons. Nic has a calm, friendly and welcoming manner about her which makes you feel safe and looked after. I found she listened to my feedback and thoughts about designs she’s prepared. She also happily moved my stencil around to find the perfect positioning without making it feel like a hassle or inconvenience. I’ve never felt rushed or embarrassed when asking questions or discussing designs. She can do a variety of different styles and is well skilled with delicate line work, shading and smaller/intricate details. She recently did a cover up for me which has come up beautifully. Will continue to highly recommend her to others.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Bee at Dark Days to get a large shin tattoo. Throughout the entire process which included booking a consult, rescheduling, sending through my reference photo etc, Bee was exceptional with her communication and always responded promptly and was very flexible. During the appt itself Bee was calm and intentional in her presence and obviously hygiene and stencil application etc was on point. I have several tattoos and have found working with Bee to be one of the best experiences I have had with any tattoo artist. Cannot wait to get tattooed by her again.

Negative experience: Bonnie O’Brien is the absolute worst business woman I have delt with in my life. Her communication skills are zero. It takes weeks to reply she refuses to talk in person or on the phone. I’ve given her $400 that she won’t return due to HER MISCOMMUNICATION involving appointment rescheduling. Give my money back Bonnie this is theft. You can keep the non refundable deposit but I want $300 back. I’m in the same business and have been for 4 years and I know for a fact this is not right! Never ever would I do this to anyone. Completely unprofessional and disgusting behaviour. SHOW ME THE EMAIL WHERE SHE TELLS ME SHE HAS RE BOOKED MY FIRST BOOKING TO WHERE THE FOLLOW UP SESSION WOULD HAVE BEEN! When I emailed to rebook she ONLY GAVE ME THE 9th of December. My legal team literally confirm that this is not okay and is infact her miscommunication. Emails about her personal life are irrelevant, not once did I share anything in my life to make an excuse.she also was very rude in her emails and only acted a victim once the refund was confirmed. I have found so many negative feedback regarding her communication I suggest a booking system such as timely rather than assuming clients can read minds. ✌

Fantastic experience: Had some beautiful work done by Bonnie, which has healed flawlessly, excited for my next appointment in March! The studio is private, clean and very professional, the artists always do their utmost to make you feel comfortable. I've had work from Kim also, they are both highly talented people who care deeply about their work. Can't fault them. ✌

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic work from the team, its a rare treat to meet someone as skilled as Kim. Hard work, attention to detail and natural talent sit him at the top of his Game. A master of Absolutely any style but in particular large colour Japanese tattoos. Well worth the wait.

Negative experience: Been waiting months for my tattoo to be done, I would have gone else where by now if I didn’t pay the $100 deposit, Bonnie is hard to contact as she contacts via email, phone calls would be a lot easier and quicker!, she takes days to contact you back. she’s re booked me so many times, been waiting far too long. Not happy.

Negative experience: My experience with Bonnie at Dark Days has been the worst i have ever experienced with any tattoo artist. Quite unprofessional. I have been trying to arrange a suitable time/date with her as she needs to do quite a few touch ups on a tattoo she did in May and i am just being ignored. Would not go to again.
