Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Weekend in Derry = great idea. Getting tattooed at Spilt Ink = even better idea. Me and my wife got tattooed by Dena — first time with her in this shop (we’ve been tattooed by her before) and she absolutely smashed it. Unreal talent and we love the tattoos! The craic in the shop was top tier. Class atmosphere, proper laughs, and special mention to Kev (blankey boy) who had us in stitches the whole way through! Cant wait to get booked in again!

Fantastic experience: Tattoos of the week, the month, the year, my entire Lifetime***** Last Thursday Sandija at Spilt Ink Tattoos changed my life! I got two new tattoos, one on each arm and both are real works of art. The one on my right arm is stand out brilliant. I was in that much of a hurry to get home to Claudy and start impressing my neighbours’ wives that my car almost took off when I hit the speed ramp in Killea doing about 80mph. Talking of wives, my own wife gave me a tattoo of her own when she saw them! She applied it to the top of my bonce with the heel of her stiletto shoe!!! It’s an interesting mix of black, blue and various shades of purple. One other thing, if you want to see someone use his TWO thumbs to speed type on his phone you’ll go far to find someone faster than the main man at Split Ink. Kev is in a league of his own. Oh, and finally, if you fancy a slice of freshly home baked Cinnamon Struddle, BRING YOUR OWN. The staff in Spilt Ink didn’t give me a slice despite the many hints I dropped!!!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter booked in for my Mothers day gift which we had matching Tattoos done. We had Them done by the lovely Susanne at split ink. We Absolutely love them. I can say from experience everyone was so chatty the whole environment was great they are like a wee family and it made the experience so much easier as i was a bit nervous.

Fantastic experience: First tattoo for over 20 year. Needn't have worried,, made to feel at ease straight away, all the gang super qualified to tattoo anything, did a excellent job on a cover up for me. on hand with advice or suggestions. Will defo return for another inking.

Fantastic experience: I traveled all the way from County Louth so that is how you know this place is good. Staff are so friendly and so nice, it’s like one big family. Got my tattoo done with Susanne and she couldn’t have been nicer and is so accommodating when it comes to changing any part of the design, she is an absolute pro. The place is also so clean and even provide sweets for customers which is such a nice touch. They also offer a pool table for the poor friends you might drag along while you get your tattoo .

Fantastic experience: This is the ONLY tattoo shop i will go to! From the moment you walk in the door Kev and the gang are welcoming and make you feel extremely comfortable. Theres never silence in Spilt ink tattoos, everyone is happy and chatty and full of laughs and jokes. A place where you can go and cant get enough of. The tattoos they do are absolutely fantastic and they always listen to what you want and where you want it without judgement.

Fantastic experience: I haven't had a tattoo yet but my daughter has had several. The workmanship and quality of her tattoos are next to non. I'm getting one soon.. very soon. The atmosphere and customer service is brull. They made her feel so at ease and where absolutely legends with someone who never had a tattoo done before to now having several done.

Fantastic experience: Spilt ink was the first place I ever got a tattoo and I haven't stopped coming here since. I was nervous to go in at first but I found myself greeted with a friendly environment and solid tunes. And of course the tattoos themselves are great quality, and the service is always good. And there's also a pool table. That should say it all.

Fantastic experience: I visited split ink in September this year.. the vision I had in my head was exactly what was tattooed on me. Kev is absolutely incredible at his work and along with that he brings ease and laughter, I was nervous not going to lie but he made me feel calm and ready. The staff are friendly and you can feel a lovely atmosphere, it’s like a family as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted and made to feel part of the experience. Kev changed every little detail infront of me in the iPad and I was amazed how he can draw just like that with his hands and his I pad? His reply was “ well what do you draw with?” He’s got a fair point but I can’t draw that amazing! The shop is clean, quirky & just a lovely place to get a piece of art would highly recommend. Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years. The best tattoo shop I’ve been in, I’ve had tattoos off all the members of staff and it has always been top class. Don’t let Kevin’s lack of ability to catch a salmon deter you from getting a tattoo from his as he is an absolute master of his craft. Everything from booking, getting the right design to getting the tattoo is perfect. The guys are always so accommodating I couldn’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Decided to jump into a last minute cancellation tattoo which I had been thinking about getting for a long time. Had previously had tattoos done by someone who had started to work there so was confident I would be happy. The tattoo I received was far better than any expectation I had thought of and everyone comments on it. From first meeting kev until I left we chatted throughout the hours I was there and it wasn't like just chatting to someone you had met. The place was warm and welcoming and the rest of the team were all nice and friendly too. It's not your "typical tattooists" in terms of building, people or atmosphere which personally I think adds to the charm of it all. 100% happy with the whole experience and will definitely be booking again (probably another last minute cancellation if I see it due to my work) and I'm sure I'll love that one too. Found out we both love the artist who the portrait was from so it led to the prodigy being blasted out for the duration. Have called in since to show the healed version and was given the same welcome as the first time I was in, so definitely go back and let the artist see the healed version. Thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: I've wanted a tattoo of how to train your dragon for so long and I knew there was no one that would do it as good as kev would..and he went beyond my expectations so much it made me cry when I saw it in the mirror. It's been a tough year for me but spilt Ink made it a little bit happier.

Fantastic experience: Split ink tattoo is a fantastic tattoo parlour.It had been 15yrs since I had my last tattoo. I was quiet nervous at the prospect of getting another one. The staff were all so welcoming and put me at ease straight away. They had great patience with me during the process of choosing my tattoos. I have since got 4 tattoos in a few month period. I got them done by a few different tattoo artists at the parlour and found each artist to be so professional and amazing at what they do. I want a few more tattoos and wouldn't dream of getting them done any where else than split ink.

Fantastic experience: I love going down to this tattoo shop everybody is as mad as a box of frogs but the crack you have is absolutely brilliant, you can just be yourself and have the banter. You'll never find a tattoo parlour.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly tattoo studio! I have been several times and gotten tattoos by two of the artists. They're always very inviting and always carry on with the clients. You feel comfortable and relaxed here so I have brought family and friends to Spilt ink because I trust their work and always enjoy seeing the artists also. Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved it. I went in one day with an idea of an Ace and king of spades tattoo with a Blue eye on it. The drew one up and had space available, it was all done within an hour and a half.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Kev and the team for a number of years for my tattoos. Started out when Kev was working out of a smaller studio where his father used to keep people entertained by tap dancing on the room above the shop before he progressed to Irish dancing.. No matter what was going on around him and no matter how many times Kev would bang his elbow off the wall as he was tattooing because the shop was so small you always left 100% happy with the work he had done. Now they are in a much larger shop with plenty of room and parking, Kev is like a big tattooed father Christmas with all his little helpers in the tattoo shop knocking out great tattoo after great tattoo. Will be out again soon enough for another piece but unfortunately the only thing the shop misses now is the sweet sounds of his father's dancing from above.. Anyone that goes to the shop won't regret it as the staff put you at ease and can speak to you as if you've known them a lifetime.. You'll have NO RAGRETS

Fantastic experience: 100% the only Tattoo Shop I'd ever choose. Got my 3rd tattoo here and it was the best experience of them all. Was a huge shoulder piece and it was 5 or 6 hours of work but it just flew by. Kev is great craic and there is just a great atmosphere about the place too Thanks again guys, I will definitely be back for more work in thr near future

Fantastic experience: Spilt ink is the best tattoo shop! Its in a great location between letterkenny and derry, it has loads of parking. Their waiting room is comfy and they always have snacks. The best part about spilt ink (other than Danny DeVito) is the artists, they are incredibly talented. They are also welcoming, funny and help put you at ease. The banter that they have is next level and it helps take your mind off of any tattoo pain. I especially love Susanne who has done all of my tattoos and is so down to earth and talented. I always look forward to going back in!

Fantastic experience: This studio has such an amazing atmosphere. Each artist displays great enthusiasm for the artwork they are creating and just all seem to really enjoy their job. The studio is always filled with a lot of laughs and great music. Plus there is now an in-house piercer, a pool table and great snacks available. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Got a tattoo at this tattoo shop was an outline of me and my son and his name and date of birth got home showed the husband and he said "where's the eye?" I said "what eye?" Turns out tattooist forgot to put in babies eye and I didn't even notice so went back no problem 2 seconds did it and my baby can see again . Deffo recommend here best bunch of friendly people and so talented wouldn't go anywhere else for work

Fantastic experience: Came to spilt ink for my first bigger tattoo, I didn’t know what to expect and was a bundle of nerves, But as soon as I walked through the door all that left. Everyone was friendly and made me feel so comfortable. For my next tattoo I really wanted it done for a certain date and the guys worked with me and took me late on, on a weeknight.
