Fantastic experience: I got my tattoo done here with my mum we was both booked in I went first and was very nervous..but the tattoo artist and the scenery made me feel comfortable it’s a very welcoming place to come get a tattoo done..very chatty and open person and I felt funny after It was finished and the tattoo artist let me lay down and take a minute and checked back asking if I’m okay..definitely come here if you want a tattoo!

Fantastic experience: Getting my tattoo done here was such a nice experience. Matt designed a replica of my nan’s tattoo while also fitting it to the aesthetic of my previous tattoos! Lucy was extremely hospitable and Matt was gentle. both lovely people and I will definitely be back and recommending :))

Fantastic experience: Lovely atmosphere - and the dogs were unexpected but a very good surprise :))) everyone was super friendly. I got in the chair and since I already had a lobe piercing Matt made sure to line it up with the original. He used two separate needles which I was very happy about. The place looked really clean and I felt comfortable and in safe hands. The piercings themselves were super quick and painless and I got to choose my jewellery out of a selection of 3. Will definitely be coming here again for more!!! I was also given a bottle of cleaning solution which I have never gotten before with any other piercings!

Fantastic experience: I had my special tattoo of our beautiful cat Smudge's pawprints done yesterday by Matt. Both Matt and Lucy were absolutely amazing, welcoming, understanding and friendly. Matt was amazing and made me feel at ease, as I was a little emotional, as it is a year since our Smudge went to sleep. The studio is exceptionally clean and has amazing decor. Their doggies are so cute too. I highly recommend Voodoo ink for your tattoo's, and I will be back soon.

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo yesterday at voodoo ink and it was such good experience, Matt and Lucy where so lovely and they made me feel comfortable and at ease when getting it done, defo recommend, as well my line work looks so good and is defo what I want and place perfect, will defo go back to get some other tattoos.

Negative experience: Had a tattoo done (and redone here a couple days later due to forgotten elements and shading) here in 2018 and 6 years later, I can confidently say this tattoo was done FAR too deep. It is a scar, and I can feel every detail of the tattoo scarred into my skin. Matt was lovely from what I remember, but definitely something to keep in mind regarding the long-term life of your tattoo.

Fantastic experience: Got my first tattoo here , was overall a great experience. I was unsure where to go as i was nervous about making sure i got what i wanted , after speaking to a few different companies i decided to go to Voodoo Ink. My tattoo turned out better than the pictures i showed to Matt and Lucy and the overall service there amazing , will definitely be going back in the future .

Fantastic experience: Matt & Lucy have been incredible from the start, they are both super friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make the experience safe and fun. I have a lot of trouble getting around due to disability, but they both made me feel so welcome and did everything they could to help me, including helping me get in and out of the studio. Extremely happy with the tattoo, I will definitely be back for more!

Fantastic experience: Had my tattoo done today and I love it! Wasn't sure what to expect as I have only ever had one small tattoo done previously and that was nearly 20 years ago. I was able to message them loads of questions before my appointment and got very prompt replies. Very professional and the studio is spotless clean. The tattoo artist is amazingly talented and friendly and I felt very much at ease. Will definitely be returning for more!

Negative experience: Was so disappointed I felt like he didn't really care about me or my tattoo. Felt rushed and no attention to detail in getting it like the design I'd asked for. It is nowhere near as good as the image I sent in and is not even central down my spine. I've had to pay a further £120 to get it fixed elsewhere and they also told me he had gone too deep and this is why the ink has bled in places. This was my first tattoo and I was recommended to him. A friend said he was friendly and made you feel at ease, but this really wasn't the case with me at all! A woman was sat at the till the whole time vaping....it was giving me a sore throat, they didn't chat to me at all and the atmosphere felt weird and tense, like they didn't really want me there. It was like he couldn't get me out of there fast enough!? Very strange after what my friend said. I wonder if they'd just had an argument or something!? Either way, the tattoo looked terrible on closer inspection. It's on my back so I couldn't really see that well in the shop. I didn't want to go back to get it made better by him because of how they made me feel and because I had zero trust in him now. I really wish I'd taken more time in finding someone right for me personally instead of going off a recommendation. Lesson learnt.

He is the most down to earth, hilarious person and makes you feel so at ease as soon as you walk through the door. His work is excellent & my patchwork style sleeve is coming along great. The dogs are a bonus too

Negative experience: got my nose pierced here today. the guy insisted 16G was the right gauge for a nose stud, messed up on putting the stud in and took around 5 minutes to sort it which was super painful, gave me the wrong colour gem as i asked for clear and he gave me green, there were dogs in the room which is super unsanitary, drew the dot in a hideous place way too far back on my nose so i had to ask him to change it, charged me £22.05 which is way overpriced for a nose piercing and gave no aftercare information whatsoever. he also didnt check my ID and just assumed i was over 16 (i am but not the point). just overall a bad time

Fantastic experience: This is where I got my first tattoo and I couldn't have gone to a better place, the service was perfect making sure that I was okay with the pain and checking if the tattoo is up to my standard. Was able to talk through the whole process without awkward conversation which is what I was worried about. The store itself is very small and only room for one person (only one guy works there anyway) but the store doesn't need to be big and the art work on the walls are amazing to look at as well. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get a tattoo and have done already. It's Tazmania who made me get more tattoos otherwise I think I would have just got the one.

Fantastic experience: I am writing this review to counteract those reviews that say this studio is not welcoming. I popped in to the studio today, and they were very welcoming and took the time to discuss ideas. On my first impression I have no reason not to recommend this studio. I guess it's how you treat others is how you will be treated. A further update to follow after my session. Here is my follow up having had the Tattoo for a couple of weeks or more and I have to say I am very impressed and will be returning to have another couple. I can highly recommend Tazmania and the fact I am returning speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: I found Tazmania tattoo studio to be very clean welcoming and a relaxed enviroment.The two artistes Gary and Matt are professional friendly and understood exactly what artwork i wanted carried out and the results are fantastic.I travel over from Leicester because of the quality of work and great value for money,on two occasions hiring a mini bus for friends and family who also enjoyed their experiences and want to return for more work.The shop is located on the high street with ample parking unlike some other studios closer to the town,i would strongly recommend a visit to this studio and am going back myself in the next few weeks. Fantastic experience: The attitude in Taz is very professional and the prices are unbelievable! They're so good. Many of my friends have had tattoos here, of varying styles and levels of detail, and they've all come out fantastically. The tattoo I got here is the most meaningful tattoo that I have to date and I needed it to be absolutely perfect, which is absolutely is. I'm absolutely delighted about it. Gaz and I discussed my tattoo before hand, and during the tattoo process, to make sure it's what I wanted, and to make sure I was totally happy with it, and I was invited to double check that it was exactly how I wanted it, when the transfer was put on. The guys in here know what they're doing and they have a lot of experience. The prices here are unbeatable, and so is the quality. I highly recommend both Matt and Gaz, having seen work from both of them, but especially Gaz, as he made my most important tattoo amazing, and I am so pleased with it. And it was a really big tattoo for only £80! Bargain! And during the cold winter (I got my tattoo during a blizzard!) they keep it nice and warm inside - added bonus! Can't stress enough how pleased I am with my tattoo :) I'll definitely be going back for my next lot! Also, I can vouch for the fact that, contrary to another review, there is NO sexist, naked art on the walls. That is a downright lie.

Negative experience: Never ever ever go to this place. The guy was so unprofessional, he asked my mate to take her trousers off in the middle of the store to see her other tattoo (on her thigh) when he could of easily asked for ID instead. He was moody, he threw a hissy fit when I asked for my tattoo to face the other way even though this is something that will be on me for life therefore I want it perfect. And to top it off, he went too deep into the skin on my tattoo and my friends tattoo, they both look like they're bruised and smudged and the black ink has already faded to a dark blue although we only had it done a few months ago. I have had two other highly professional tattoo artists (who did an excellent job on my other tattoos) telling me how awful the tattoo from taz is. DO NOT GO HERE.
