Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous. This tattoo was done by Mike & I couldn't be happier. The design I picked was very, very detailed & had a lot of shading, so I was expecting a simplified version, but nope. He did an excellent job on it, so much detail and he really captured Eiichiro Odas art style well. Over the moon. Great bunch of guys too, very upbeat atmosphere, joking around, makes you feel comfortable right away. Very happy, would highly reccomended! 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Being Ex Forces I've travelled all over the world and have had tattoo's done by various artists the world over. I've had two full sleeve's done by Lee and it's by far the best quality, sharpest lined tattoo's I've had done. Get plenty of complements on them and I always tell them where I got them done. Can't recommend this place enough. A true Master at his work.

Fantastic experience: Had my first proper tattoo here (was a skull on the hand) was in absolute agony but Mike Jones, the guy that was doing the tattoo was trying to have a conversation with me, to get my mind of the pain. It was a really relaxed environment, they were also proper genuine guys no doubt I’ll be having another tattoo here.

Positive experience: Fantastic staff. Made to feel at home soon as I walked through the door. Even rival shops had nothing but good things to say about the place.. Anyways, I managed to fit in a walk in with out booking.. very lucky for me.. and not too painful either considering it's on the neck and back of head.. I'm really happy with the way they gave me the piece i wanted rather than trying to talk me into some thing else... Will be back for sure!!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU WANT SOMETHING REGULAR, THIN AND SYMMETRIC !!!! I'm French student who was in Swansea for few months during the last summer and I got a tattoo in this shop. I waited 6 months to comment on my tattoo because I needed to have the benefit of hindsight. I am not happy at all with my tattoo and I just corrected it by another tattooist. When I came there to be tattooed I was happy but the day after, the ink started to spread through my skin. I came back to the shop and they told me this is usual and the tattoo will be fine after scaring. However, that went worse and worse and now my tattoo isn't regular and thin, some lines are bigger than others and it doesn't look tidy and accurate. It looks rather like a rush job !!! In addition, the tattoo isn't symmetric !! When I showed it to them, they told me I didn't take care of my tattoo which is totally wrong ! I did everything that they recommended to me. Other tattoists told me that the needle was too big, he jabbed too strongly and he did it too many times on the same spot. To sum up, it was my first tatto and I'm really disappointed. Even if I corrected it, it doesn't look like I wanted and I have to live all my life with it. So, be careful.....

Negative experience: To my surprise I find myself almost forced to write a review to give future customers an insight on my experience. Firstly I was tattooed by a younger guy, probably the youngest artist there.. which is absolutely fine. however, I had a very specific drawing that I created and customised myself down to the finest detail, thinking about the design for many many months.. and I was clear to the artist when booking the tattoo this was EXACTLY what I want.. He said he would improvise ever so slightly where needed, as you can see in the photos below the black and white one is what I ended up with.. which to some people this may be better or preferred or whatever.. but seriously, its very different to me.. there is not much that can be done to my tattoo to make it better for me.. never the less I am pleased with my tattoo but definitely do not go to this place if you want an exact copy, because no matter what you say to them, they seem abit to big for their boots and let their imagination flow on YOUR SKIN which is not for me..

Negative experience: I did not have a pleasant experience here. I originally wanted a small, thin quote along my arm. However, the tattooist refused to do it at the size I wanted and printed it so big it wrapped around my whole arm. I decided on a new place to put it (my ribs - one of the most painful areas I believe) and off we went. The tattooist barely spoke to me during the session and didn't ask me if I was okay at all (and I was in A LOT of pain), he just told me that if I moved he'd stop. Although I am happy with my tattoo, it is not perfectly straight, not in the place that I had wanted it (which I'm 100% sure I could've gotten done elsewhere) and there was NO relationship between the tattooist and I - something I think is very important. I wont ever get another tattoo done here again and don't particularly recommend it to anyone else either.

Negative experience: Not happy with Lee Hadfield of Swansea Tattoo Company, travelled back to Swansea from abroad after specifying my tattoo design with him on a previous trip. The design which he drew on the day was not as discussed and he would not entertain changing. I was told to rebook, and Lee disappeared and would not see me to discuss the situation. The one star if for my deposit refund. Either he is so busy he wants to do standard tattoos and does not have the time or inclination to do bespoke designs.
