Fantastic experience: There are Tattooists and then there are Tattoo Artists. There is a difference and Joss designed my Tattoo based on a limited brief and his own talent. The atmosphere is relaxing and the studio is immaculately clean. Joss and his team are incredible. Am I biased? Yes of course. But when you spend nearly 20 hrs with one person who is creating an artwork on your body then you should be biased. Thank you Joss and all the team, you lot are AMAZING! I will be back!

I was explained by Josh exactly how it was going to be done and what the outcome would be like, I trusted Josh with his art and he made the best tattoo I could wish for, his vision was exceptional and he certainly deserves a 5 rating. Fantastic experience: Went in for a full day to get a large octopus piece in a really painful area (hip-torso), but the end result was so worth it. So incredibly detailed, and expertly disguised what was there before. Joss was taking the extra mile to accommodate me and bring me out of my shell. It was a mixture of wincing in pain and giggling like a school boy. Scarlett and Chris were also fantastic at keeping the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Got a bohemian style flower cuff as a birthday treat and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Meg’s design was so much better than what I initially had pictured in my mind. The finished tattoo is so pretty, the details in the petals and the leaves is incredible! The atmosphere was so friendly and the staff were extremely welcoming. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Chris did a beautiful tattoo for me today, it was a very sentimental tattoo and I suffer from extreme anxiety. Chris was so easy to talk to which really helped ease my nerves and was also really supportive of the reason why I wanted the tattoo. After an emotional and heartbreaking morning saying goodbye to someone so close to me Chris gave me a reason to smile. The shop has a really relaxing atmosphere and all the tattooists were really friendly and proffessional. Il definitely be going in for more work by Chris soon.

Fantastic experience: Got my knights templar tattoo today on my lower arm with the artist Megan. 1st things 1st, the salon is staffed with really friendly artists and is immaculate. My tattoo with Megan had a awful lot of fine detail and she 100% nailed it beyond my expectations. Everything was sterilised and wiped down and the very fine ink work is what has set this apart from my other tattoo. She didn't rush any part of the tattoo and even worked over her hours to get it completed. Thank you so much for your skills it's fair to say iam chuffed to bits and will be planning my other arm next

Fantastic experience: Was looking for places in Portsmouth for a geometric artist and by pure luck I stumbled onto this Tattoo studio. After researching a bit I went with artist Chris Machin to tattoo this Pulsar Map design. He reached out to my emails super quick and had concise and clear communication. On the day the stencilling he made was super fast and so were the adjustments to the tattoo. The whole process was super quick and smooth yet highly technical. All the artists were super friendly and chill, and Chris extremely talented. I'm genuinely happy with how it turned out at the end .

Fantastic experience: 1st time tattoo checked out a few places on line and chose Life Wont Wait Tattoo Studio. From the 1st meeting with Chris I was made to feel very welcome. Talked through my ideas with him and he gave me some expert advice. 9th August came the big day again made to feel so welcome. A lovely spacious studio with a very laid back atmosphere. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left I was made to feel at ease every step of the way. Every artist here have samples of their work you can view on Instagram before making your enquires. Everyone is friendly and they’re only to glad to do everything at your pace depending on what suits you. Nothing is too much trouble. They can incorporate ideas you may have and each artist has a specialty so generally anything you may have in mind can be discussed beforehand. This way you’ll get the right artist for you to complete the tattoo you want. They will explain the process and the aftercare to make sure you feel comfortable about looking after the tattoo while at home. If this is the 1st time you’re thinking of having a tattoo or you’re having another done check out their Instagram or Facebook pages or make an appointment to go and see the guys and place in person.

Reasonably priced for the work done, very clean and safe studio - I very much felt that we were able to work to my pace of comfort/needing breaks as and when I needed them. Meg showed real professionalism, talent and explained each part of the process to me to help me understand how to make the best use of time out of the studio. The many 5 star reviews that this studio have recieved is no conincidence, all of the team stick to a high bar and deserve the praise. I asked if the team could take a photo on my mobile straight after the tattoo, I'm so pleased with the results! There are lots of decent tattoo studios in Portsmouth, but this one rates the highest for a reason.

Fantastic experience: Have been to Joss at Life Won’t Wait a couple of times and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. The studio itself is a really good size, clean and had a really relaxed feel. Because sessions are pre booked you don’t have lots of people walking in off the street which is nice. Before I arrived Joss had worked out my design so he was able to start tattooing almost straight away. I suffer with back pain and was a bit worried about sitting for 3 hours but I needn’t have worried as the tattooing chairs are REALLY comfortable! Good aftercare advice with creams available to buy. Highly recommended tattoo studio! Looking forward to my next visit!

Not only did he do an amazing job on the new bit, he went over all the old work freshening it up and improving on it. The Studio itself has always been spotless inside, very spacious so you don’t feel cramped by other artists, and really well decorated with artwork too They also offer shop Merchandise too which is super comfy and fits well, and is made to last Absolutely 10/10 studio in my opinion no matter which artist you choose, you won’t be disappointed!
