Fantastic experience: With James having just completed my ninth tattoo with him, I feel it is time to write the review that Divine Ink, James, Becci and the team deserves. Firstly, lets get the quality out of the way, I have greyscale tattoos, with a mixture of heavy black work and fine line, also one freehand tattoo from my daughters design, they are superb (IMHO), James is able to bring my visions to life, and I am always impressed with the outcome. James is patient and ensures I am comfortable and happy. A session with James is something I believe everyone should have, I have found it to be entertaining, informative, relaxing (mostly), and therapeutic. Becci is a delight, I am lucky enough to have had Becci sitting in at points and chatting with me and whilst James works, they always seem genuinely pleased to see me, I have always felt like a friend as much as a client. The pair of them have helped me in so many ways, it has felt like free therapy with every tattoo. James deserves his own review, in his own words he isn't just a narcicist, he is the best narcist. I would say, genuinely, he is a superb tattoist, conversationalist, and all round great bloke. Don't ask me about marker pens, phallic symbols, masking tape, or nipples.

One was a copy of a picture a friend drew for me following a marathon, he other was of our dog who we recently lost leaving a gaping hole in our lives. I had sent James a few ideas of what I wanted but the end result brought tears to my eyes (in an extremely good way). The session was so relaxed and hilarious. Fantastic experience: Update 9 Mar 2024 - Due to be only able to have one active review per business at a time I am having to add my new tattoo to my sleeve post which started in Feb 23. My 10th session with James (2 half day and 8 day sessions). From the photos you will see my sleeve progress through the year and was finished in 2023 with a chest piece portrait of my new grandaughters feet. Today (9 March 2024) I had a cover up on my left upper arm. Again fantastic artwork. What more can I say, I truly recommend the Divine Ink Tattoo family studio. It is great to see your vision taking effect with your business adventure. A superb tattoo experience with Becci and James. So happy with the fantastic work on my arms sleeve journey that James has started for me today (24 Feb 2023). Cracking conversations throughout. James is a very talented artist who takes great pride in his work. Highly recommended. Session 10 complete (3 photos added 9 Mar 2024). My sleeve is now complete, i have a chest piece and another cover up on my left upper arm. Great to see it take shape over the year. But not my last tattoo..........

But after my initial consultation, I felt so relaxed and at ease about it. Becci and James are both so friendly and welcoming. They have made the studio feel so chilled and comfortable to be in. James is such a laid back bloke and a really talented artist. He was able to create exactly what I wanted. You could tell that he genuinely enjoys what he does- and it shows. What attracted me to Divine Ink is how welcoming, calm and fresh the place feels - I felt at ease as soon as I walked in! Fantastic experience: Picture taken 3 days after tattoo so it’s started to heal. A family run business, James is professional and diligent and his work is awesome. James asked for your concept, prepares and agrees the image on messenger before you go in so when you get there your straight under the needle, no messing about. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with Becci providing superb banter and coffee in equal measure. I’m back next month to start consecutive sleeves.

Fantastic experience: James is a fantastic tattoo artist. A thoroughly lovely guy, who is patient, friendly and very good at what he does. I presented him with a design that he has replicated in very fine detail and it looks amazing! My daughter and I had the same design. The premises are clean and well looked after, there's a real homely feel to the place (that I'm certain Becci has had a lot to do with!), So I could not recommend it more.
