Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience here. I got a tattoo of my kids names on my arm and was a bit nervous cause it had been about 15 years since my last and only tattoo. But Bethan was very friendly and professional, which totally put me at ease. I’m really happy with the tattoo and will definitely be back. I’ve already decided what I want to get next!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time at Lucid Shadow Tattoo Studio! Stu -one of the owners tattooed me for a full-day session, and he’s got a velvet touch with the needle. He can work in all styles, fine line and realism to bold colour and blackwork like on me, and the result was flawless. Proper impressed with it. The studio (run by Stu and Beth) is fully licensed, super clean, and really professional, with sterile equipment, single-use needles, and a relaxed, inclusive, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Pricing is fair and transparent, and they give clear aftercare advice so your tattoo heals perfectly. Booking is the easiest by far, speak to the artist, get a link - pick a day that suits you which has availability, slap down your deposit. Done. Would I recommend it? Ye mon!

The new design is amazing — you can’t even see the original tattoo underneath! He did such a great job, and his attention to detail is incredible. Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved the first tattoo Bethan did for me, so much so that I came back for two more fine line pieces just 11 weeks later! I’m completely in love with my new tattoos. Bethan is incredibly talented and amazing at what she does with a great eye for detail, care and hygiene. I always feel so comfortable in her chair - she has a way of putting you at ease right away. Plus, she’s great to chat with, which really helps the time fly by. My husband got tattooed by Stu at the same time and is so happy with his traditional piece! I couldn’t recommend her and Lucid Shadow Tattoo Studio more highly!

Fantastic experience: I can't rate these guys highly enough. Right from the get go Stu was super friendly and professional, the studio was beautiful, clean and welcoming and the whole experience was a delight. He checked in to see how I was doing multiple times and walked me through every step of the process. I was also lucky enough to get a surprise piece from the apprentice Meg who was brilliant and very professional. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Lucid Shadow Tattoo Studio. I contacted Stu and sent him a mish mash of my ideas, and met up with him to firm up a sensible idea. Stu gave me some great ideas, and the design he came up with exceeded my expectations. Stu was patient during my session when I needed to stretch my legs, and the whole team was welcoming. I will definitely be returning for more work.

Fantastic experience: I had 2 tattoos from Megan, 1st was a Halloween flash tattoo, which I chose the Dino! Second was a butterfly, both are amazing!! Megan was very professional, I don’t tend to engage in conversation but it was a very peaceful silence (at least from my side ) Would definitely recommend Megan and this tattoo studio. Very easily to find, lots of parking, tidy and clean and I was greeted with a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Meg was very friendly and professional, greeting me as I walked in the door and asked me to fill in a form prior to tattoo. Asked if I wanted any refreshments. Once form was done and checked over the stencils went on, and the placement was spot on. Meg done a beautiful job on both my tattoos and I am super happy with them thank you so much again Meg! They clean down to the highest standard after every single customer, even on a very busy Friday 13th when they’re managing a really long queue of walk-ins, and tattooing so many more people than usual. I’ve had several tattoos here now, all from Isabelle (Booboo tattoo) and I’m over the moon with all of them. The studio itself is really modern and welcoming. Unlike a lot of tattoo studios, I don’t think anyone would walk in here and feel intimidated in the slightest. They have a kitchen with a really nice coffee machine and a snack station, they even have a bathroom stocked with anything and everything you might need! Truly a customer focussed business

Fantastic experience: Got tattooed as part of their ‘Friday 13th’ day. Been desperate to visit since they opened and was not disappointed. The studio is fantastic and what they have built is amazing. The apprentices have obviously received brilliant training and the whole experience was faultless. Collectively ive spent days inside tattoo studios and Lucid is by far my favourite. Even down to small details like a coffee machine and snacks, Lucid has nailed it. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Negative experience: Unclean studio and unprofessional staff! I’ve had five previous tattoos but saw this shop was award winning so I was very exited to try it out, never have I had such a bad experience with my tattoos not only the artist but the shop in general, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy into there and I will never go again! So so so disgusted and disappointed with everything about my experience here. DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAKE MEDIA PROMOTIONS!!!
