Fantastic experience: Am nearing the end of my arm sleeve with Chris and he has been great. I got my first tattoo with Chris and every time I have gone to him he has been extremely welcoming and always produces great work which I am very proud to wear on my arm. The general atmosphere at the studio is great and the conversation is always welcome. Would highly recommend getting pieces from any artist there.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a panther tattoo I had paid a good price for the amazing work. At no point did I feel uncomfortable and Connor was very understanding and the banter in the shop was amazing, definitely coming back to add to the piece.

Fantastic experience: Was in Durham for a few days and emailed on an odd chance of getting a slot for a piece I had wanted for a while. Buzzin Guns managed to get me in dead quick and were amazing through the whole process. Jordan did a fantastic job with the tattoo which contained a lot different colours and he mixed them superbly. Whole studio was very chill and created a great and friendly atmosphere inside the shop. Will happily go back if/when I'm in the area again, couldn't do enough for you!

Fantastic experience: Connor tattooed me today. A cover up. An elephant on the top of my arm and it is absolutely brilliant. Honestly the detail is amazing. Already had loads of comments and being asked who's done it. I could not recommend him enough. Also a great lad and made me comfortable from the off. Top work. Appreciated!

Negative experience: The worst experience in my life. During the tattoo removal I was burned so badly that the result was hospital visits, swelling of the leg to the ankle, constant pain for 2 weeks. For 5 days I couldn't sit or walk for too long. Every movement caused enormous pain. When I informed Chris about my health condition and also sent all the documentation from the hospital in response I only got information that I should let him know how it heals. I was never asked how I felt and I was never apologized. I will add that I paid an advance for another procedure, of course no one will return it to me. I do not recommend

Fantastic experience: Liv applied two bat tattoos to me today one on each leg and they are excellent, top quality work and exactly what I wanted. I would not hesitate in recommending her and Buzzin Guns. Everyone was welcoming and the studio is very nice and spotlessly clean. I am all ready thinking about what I want next !

Fantastic experience: Me and my mam went here for our first fine line tattoos on Friday 28/03/25. They were brilliant from the beginning contacting them online, they explained everything. The place is very clean, tidy and very inviting. The guys who were there made us feel welcome and at ease , we had a right laugh. We got ours done from anth on the wrist and neck in memory of my grandad who passed 2 weeks prior and they were able to fit us in before his funeral. He told us our aftercare instructions and said if we needed touch ups to go back, don't think that will be needed as they are healing great. The price I think was fab. We love them, thank you so much. we both highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Amazing place. All the staff that work there are super friendly and offer an a great service. All the artists are incredible at what they do. One of the artists, Connor has been doing a star wars sleeve on me and has been doing a fantastic job. Highly recommend him if you want a star wars, marvel, or gaming idea brought to life in a tattoo. Each artists have good specialities of what idea you wanting bringing to life.

Negative experience: Booked in for an important tattoo with Connor and appointment got cancelled an hour beforehand as he had to go to hospital which I understood. Rearranged for around 2 weeks later and 30 mins before next was told I had to rearrange again because they just realised Connor wasn't in that day. Went in and they managed to make a slot that day with Anth. He was friendly and understood what I explained for my tattoo, drew it well and put the stencil on great. I thought the tattoo was great too but under 2 days later it started to blowout and everyday it continues getting more and more blown out. Explains why the tattoo was so painful and bled so much afterwards too. Receptionist just sat watching YouTube videos and looking on rightmove with a bag of skittles, not very professional. I gave her my original pawprint ink copy and asked her to be careful and she touched every single one with her fingers. Got the print back and it had a smudge down it from the ink (it was dry, done in April and tattoo done in June). Good money but not worth it for such an all-round bad experience.

Positive experience: Today I went to Buzzin Guns for my first tattoo and I had amazing with my first tattoo as the staff were professional and really freindly as I was having my tattoo done the staff are very takltive and really good company when having work any kind of work done I would reocmmend this tattoo studio and do plan on going back again as the tatto artist who did my tattoo was Alex and I also do plan on getting antother tattoo done by Alex.

He was chill and reassuring throughout asking me if I needed breaks and if the sizing was what I wanted as well as answering the questions I had. Negative experience: Had a tattoo done of a Japanese katana, got it done by liv but really not satisfied, the blade looks blunt and wonky, and the lines on the handle aren’t straight, she didn’t even shave my arm either like tattoo artists are meant to not going here again

Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. Lovely surroundings and I have had some of my best bits of work done at several sittings with Ammie and Antonia. Negative experience: Went to get my daughter's name on my arm .ended up with a infection caused by the needle trauma ( docs words ) tattoo oozed ink and when it healed its patchy . truly ruined what should ov been a easy tattoo and a special meaning .it will need re done

Negative experience: Cancelled our appointment without notice, only telling us when we showed up on the day. Rescheduled a few weeks ahead but when I informed them that we had come down with DnV they've just taken the deposit and ignored my email to reschedule. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. I get it. It was supposed to be mine and my wife's first tattoos together. We weren't exactly spending a huge amount of money on giant pieces of body art but we wanted to go to the best rated in the area. However, it feels like we're being dismissed as not worth their time.

Negative experience: Rang me 10 mins before appointment to say they had been trying to get in touch with me all week and they have to cancel due to covid. Looking back, 1 missed call 3 days ago and no voice mail. Poor customer service, waste of time, will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: As it’s coming up to my 60th birthday soon, I decided to mark the occasion by doing something way outside of my comfort zone, and decided to get my first tattoo. I searched online and found Buzzin Guns in Durham. Their feedback looked excellent so I eventually managed to get a session last week. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so friendly and their process was easy yet efficient, with safety being a serious consideration. The studio is beautifully set out and offered a really welcoming atmosphere. There was less pain that I thought, in fact just a little discomfort at times. Josh was great, knowing it was my first tat, and I was delighted with the finished product. I initially thought it would be the tattoo that would provide a memory, but it was the whole experience that I enjoyed. The banter downstairs was a great distraction, and added to the occasion. I would definitely recommend Buzzin Guns, an overall professional and very friendly experience, thanks to all of the crew there!
