Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one was a must. Jake at The Sharp Practice did my spine tattoo and a cover-up on my hip and I’m honestly so grateful I found him. He really listened to what I wanted, made me feel completely comfortable, and the results are better than I could have hoped for. The cover-up is flawless — you genuinely wouldn’t know anything was there before. The whole experience was calm and professional, and all of the staff there were so friendly and welcoming, which made such a difference. Thank you Jake — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I went in to talk about possibly getting a really badly done tattoo lasered off or covered and was seen to pretty quickly and told by Jake he could definitely cover it with the right design and was given some ideas. I emailed some ideas over and again was quickly responded to so I came in to book and was given a appointment to come in and discuss ideas. I'm so happy with the cover up by Jake, he was kind and professional the entire way through and I genuinely enjoyed my experience with Jake and the rest of the staff who were friendly and funny. I 100% recommend Jake and would gladly go back for his work again. The crystal is before and the moth is the cover tattoo.

Negative experience: I had my dermal done here, she pierced it in a way that it healed slightly sticking out only for it to reject just 8 months later. I had my other dermal done just a week later in andover for it to heal perfectly which is how i know it wasnt my fault in it rejecting. I understand they are prone to rejection but i feel as though it wasnt for that reason as my other one is perfectly healed. This photo was taken on my snapchat today

Negative experience: have never had piercings reject before, but my dermal rejected the DAY AFTER getting it done, and is now hanging out of my skin. was not done properly at all and was told by many other piercers that it has been done badly. The negligence of this store is disappointing- considering the owner has told people she hates the job…do not go there

Negative experience: got my ears pierced here 3 years ago and they still havent healed (did everything they suggested and even paid for the liquid they made me buy) super overpriced for what it is but the guy who pierced my ears was nice - 1 star cos of him wouldve given none if i could.

Fantastic experience: What a nice clean shop nice atmosphere and wonderful staff with well trained and knowledgeable and pointed yoy in the right direction on what would be the best earrings for the piercing

Negative experience: I went there on my lunch break at college and she provided the jewlery and she did my 3rd lobes with a gun. The first problem was they got infected instantly, then the jewlery she used was so small it went through my ear and i had to pull it back out, i changed my earings to ones that wouldnt go straight through. I just now took both them out as she has shattered my cartilage and one of them is splitting. I do not recommend as there was no sign of healing or improvement.

Negative experience: Very disappointed at the attitude of the older woman possibly the owner on how her whole attitude was towards me regarding a cover up asking multiple times to speak with the tattooist that would do my tattoo all I got was ive been in this 35 years with a condescending attitude finally bloke with artist and was asked to leave with him upon leaving the older woman was like if you don't hear from us then we ain't doing it which I thought was disgusting went to another artist at a different studio and all i got was complete professionalism and booked with them from the experience I had at Sharp practice I wouldn't recommend them because of how they treat you

Fantastic experience: The staff are absolutely amazing! It's a friendly yet professional atmosphere, and they have a variety of tattoo designs, piercing options and even funny t-shirts! I've never had an infection, or issue with either tattoos or piercings. Definitely my favourite shop in Salisbury

Fantastic experience: A couple of weeks ago I walked into the studio on the off chance, not really knowing what I wanted or how it would work on the area that I wanted. Becky and Proccy were so helpful and helped me figure it out, and booked me in. I also asked for 3 piercings, Stew sorted me out straight away and was so lovely. Today, I went in for my booked tattoo and I am SO pleased with the results. Proccy was amazing, I had such a blast! The tattoo was painless, Proccy worked her freehand magic and the result is incredible. This tattoo is very personal to me, I have been putting it off for ages because I was worried about going in, but I couldn’t think of a better, non-judgemental studio to do the work. Proccy also kindly squeezed in a second tattoo for me at the last minute! Thanks Guys… I will be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Me and the wife came in for a couple of piercings that we wanted to get. No waiting, just walked straight in and got it done. Becky made us feel comfortable and explained amazing aftercare procedures. Never had any issues with the business and would recommend them to anyone! Nice clean and sterile environment and the staff are absolutely fantastic! They are all approachable with any questions or queries. Prices are great value too!

Fantastic experience: I dropped in on the off chance i could get a tattoo today. They were very accommodating and fitted me in. I have to say, I feel bad as i can't remember the chaps name, but I'm sooooo.... pleased with my tattoo! He spent time with me, helped me decide where to have my tattoo, was very chatty and reassuring. Also the young girl on reception was very nice. I've had a tattoo here before and I Highley recommend them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Went today for a walk in piercing with Naomi, such a lovely lady, explained everything and was so gentle I barely felt a thing, went back later on the off chance they could squeeze us in for a small tatto, Jake sorted us out, again he was lovely funny and very gentle, highly recommended

Negative experience: Met with judgemental and unkindly attitude when I stopped in today to ask if they stocked second skin. Fair enough you might not stock it but offering up alternative aftercare options you recommend is much better than looking at someone like they’re a piece of dirt on your shoe. Customer service goes a long way - but sadly doesn’t extend to the Sharp Practice. Not the first poor experience I’ve had here either so I question why I ever thought to return. Crooked belly button piercing and scarred for life with a poorly done tattoo. Avoid if you can!

Fantastic experience: We found the whole experience from booking, through design to final application from Sharps to be fantastic! Proccy took our initial ideas and turned them into something far better and extremely personal. She was brilliant and her work is outstanding! We've had compliments on the tattoos already. 5 stars and we'll definitely go back. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Been here twice now and both times I have been blown away by the professionalism and efficiency of the whole place. My teen daughter got her belly button piercing here and the woman (owner I think) who did the job was amazing! My kiddo was pretty nervous and the owner had the piercing on and placed before kiddo even noticed! It was hilarious! As for me, I got some less than ideal news and wanted a small tattoo, something just for me to help cope. Proccy did the work and she was great!! So kind and gentle and very competent. I felt bad as I’m sure my basic tat was a bit boring for her, her other work was way more exciting and skilled, but she assured me she was happy to do it, and she listened to exactly why I wanted the tattoo and gave me even better than I hoped. All in a very clean, very professional setting! Thanks y’all!

Fantastic experience: Went in on 27th March 2024 for a piercing, no booking required always a bonus, Becky was my piercer and was fabulous, I was a little nervous but she kept the conversation flowing helping me to relax. Negative experience: Would not reccomend. Got a belly button piercing here which was done crooked and the owner is defensive and ignoring any messages about it. Now I look back I also realise the piercing was done without gloves being worn and also the jewellery was picked up without gloves.

Fantastic experience: Always happy with Jake’s tattoo’s, I wouldn’t go with anyone else now. I always give a rough idea on a design and he always comes up with the best design for me and makes sure it’s looking it’s best before it’s completely finished.

Negative experience: Came in for a medusa jewellery change and the ball wasn’t attached properly so came off that evening. Had to go somewhere else to get a new one. very expensive too. not very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Did a walk in for nose piercing on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago,I was very nervous but the lady who did my piercing was amazing, knew I was nervous, very kind and caring, very supportive,.even the customers that came in we supportive! All was well,clean and tidy place,would definitely recommend and would 100% go back for more!!

Fantastic experience: Superb service. Ben, the tattooist, adapted an existing piece of art in a way that was appropriate and also captured the vibe of the original art perfectly. He really understood the brief. The atmosphere was very relaxed too. Flawless.

Fantastic experience: This is a family run business and has been in Salisbury for over 20 years, they are an amazing family and Matt has tattooed me on a number of occasions and is a rather special person. Matt Cook and Jake Cook are extremely talented artists if you are thinking of having a tattoo go and talk to them. Fantastic experience: I walked in off the street and was lucky to be able to get a tattoo, without needing to book. All done and dusted with no fuss. Great service and great care given. Cannot fault their hygiene, it’s second to none! Friendly staff and really simple paperwork to complete, as it should be done. Daughter had her nose pierced. She was a bit hesitant but the staff were brilliant and gave her a chance to carefully consider her decision and then come back to complete. Thanks for your patience and understanding guys… we’ll be back for more !

Negative experience: Two bad experiences 5 years apart. Went in for a tattoo and was shown to a shabby studio in the attic where the tattooist seemed totally uninterested in anything I said and just picked a stock image off of Google! Been in this afternoon with May daughter for a replacement piercing ball, and we were actually told that the staff member couldn’t be arsed to look for one. Shabby, unfriendly place.

Negative experience: Called them up to book in and the lady on the phone was very rushy and rude, I then asked about the reviews and why they were negative and she then refused to do my piercing. The man however was very nice but the Lady Becky with purple hair was extremely rude on the phone and didn’t care about customer service. I got it done elsewhere.

Negative experience: i had my belly button peirced they peirced it to high up cut me with the clamp poked me with the needle and it got infected and had to be removed within a week

Negative experience: i went there for my helix a few years ago, and although the staff were nice enough, they used the wrong jewellery so it didn’t heal for over a year and a half until i changed the jewellery myself. i later went back for my septum and the purple haired lady was so rude the entire time. she never wore gloves and the piercing was so painful i thought she had pierced the cartilage, and it hurts for days after.

Fantastic experience: Had a double helix done today, which was a bit of a last minute choice and the service was amazing, the guy who did my piercings was very talkative and funny and the woman behind the desk was helpful with choosing what piercings to do and with the paperwork. Would definitely recommend to those who have a good sense of humour! Will be coming back soon :)

Fantastic experience: Staff are always friendly. I've been here many times now for piercings and always had a good experience. Took my stepdaughter this time and we were well looked after and given great advice to help her out after she had wonky piercings done elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 daughters to get their ears pierced and they were excellent. My youngest who is 8 was a bit scared to get them done but the guy that did it (Stu) was brilliant with her, reassuring her and also letting her know that it was her choice and that at any time she could back out if she wanted. Negative experience: I was quoted £200 last Friday for a post surgery nipple areola tattoo! Got a quote elsewhere £40-£50. It’s half an hours work! Overpriced establishment.

Negative experience: purple haired women, pierced my cartilage instead of my thirds and has now shattered my cartilage, also she is extremely rude and we waited for about 45mins to get seen, has also ruined my friends ears aswell before and pierced my friends belly wonky so, i hope she gets fired

Fantastic experience: Sharps have done all my ear piercings so far by Stew, who is absolutely brilliant at his practice. This includes my rook, industrial, conch, Tragus and my 3 lobe piercings. Negative experience: was left waiting for about an hour for a piercing, the lady was told numerous times i was waiting and what i wanted, she continued upstairs for about half an hour and when she made it down she was told again, then chose to put stock away, drink her coffee and telling stories about a song. i have previously had a bad experience with this lady and my septum piercing and went back as i was happy to give it another go. wish i hadn’t, felt very embarrassed sitting waiting for so long. also given minimal aftercare sheet, no ID was checked and no aftercare sheet was offered. man behind the desk was lovely, amazing service from him.

Positive experience: not as friendly as I thought she was gonna be (purple hair lady) she did squash my eyelashes on one eye which makes me look like a dead fish, people at the counter are nice- nose pierced

Fantastic experience: Had my tattoos done here over 10 years ago. Had a piercing done yesterday, they were very efficient, made sure to be as gentle as possible, felt a nip with needle and a pinch when ring went in. Today, no swelling, I can move it when I clean it, only feels a little bit tender when I do. Really pleased with it. Highly recommended Also to add, Stu did my piercing and was lovely. I've just seen reviews slating "purple Becky" as people are calling her. I'm not convinced they're genuine reviews, Becky has always been blooming lovely. To be honest I wouldn't be happy being filmed for tik-tok while I'm doing my job!! Becky, we love you.

Fantastic experience: Got my nose pierced. Lovely staff who made me feel comfortable and at ease. Workers were very understanding and encouraging, and end result was perfect.

Fantastic experience: Stew did an excellent job of piercing my helix. His studio is extremely clean and smelt of bleach. He used excellent aseptic technique and was very reassuring. He checked my ear with a torch for any veins that might bleed before piercing my ear. Pain was minimal. All done within 10 minutes. Excellent service, I will definitely go there for my future piercing needs!

Positive experience: So far so good, visited 3 days ago to get daughters ears pierced. Marked down one star due to them failing to give us any after care advice, friendly staff though, good vibe

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! Went yesterday to get my nose pierced finally!! Stew was very bubbly and made me feel relaxed and comfortable! Barely hurt and even now its only slightly sore (which is expected with piercings). Would definitely go here for other piercings and tattoos when old enough! My mum has had all but one tattoo here. Only complaint would be no aftercare tips, though its easy enough to find online. We were jumped between workers a few times but still very well managed! They were all lovely!
