I was captivated by Jamie's gorgeous fine line floral work from the moment I stumbled across her page, and I am beyond pleased with my new tattoo. I could not have asked for something better. Negative experience: Update to my first review to omit the design we received and didn't care for; just giving the "artist" the benefit of the doubt. The real complaint is around her policies for deposit and return of deposit and unfriendly nature. After reading her response you can see that she is unreasonable to do business with. When we cancelled we gave 48-hours notice (a usual time frame for most services) but we were told we would forfeit our deposit of $187 because she needs 72 hours notice. Our experience has been disappointing. Just be sure to read the so called contract before making a deposit. In all, I am glad I'm not wearing this person's ink.

Fantastic experience: Jamie was the sweetest human, and very easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable while we chatted, and her little studio was clean and well organized. She did such a wonderful job on my fine line sunflower tattoo. So talented!

Jamie is very responsive and helps you to create the design you are looking for. She gave a few ideas to work with which was a great jump off point for me. I got a rose, which means a lot to me because it represents my mom. The lines are clean and sharp. And the shading really enhances the overall image. Negative experience: Even though I never emailed Jamie after the initial tattoo, three years later I still feel like I was taken advantage of for such a personal and meaningful tattoo as a memory to my brother. After reading some similar experiences I felt compelled to add my review as I am constantly reminded every day of what I feel was a half ass attempt by Jaime. My tattoo took under 30 minutes and cost around $350. I didn’t feel like she even was interested in doing the tattoo but did it any way. I will never get it removed due to the meaning behind it but the lines aren’t even straight. I feel even if I said something initially she wouldn’t have cared. She seemed cold and not really approachable.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I wanted to forever memorialize our precious pup Momo in tattoo form and Jamie made our dream come true to perfection! From start to finish, Jamie was amazingly professional and made sure that we were happy with our design (using several photos as reference). During our visit, we loved the beautiful salon and cozy workspace for our tattoo appointment. Jamie set us at ease during the whole session so that we always felt comfortable and aware of each step! The end results were gorgeous and wonderfully captured our sweet pup's likeness on my husband's upper knee and my ankle region. I highly recommend Jamie if you want custom designs done by a talented and trustworthy artist. Also, we loved the tattoo balm provided by Jamie for tattoo aftercare (that she manufactures herself under her business InkFrost)!

I’m 66 years young and needed something to keep my late husband (and my late mother) close to me and I decided on a dragonfly for that reason. Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoos this month. Before meeting Jamie, I had previously contacted two local tattoo artists who were both reputable and Instagram famous. I was disappointed with their inconsistent correspondence, customer service, and inconsistent terms. I had to postpone getting my tattoos for a whole year. Despite her busy schedule, Jamie and her assistant were prompt, informative, and precise about the process. I was pretty nervous and had a bit of a trust issue about letting someone leave a permanent mark on my body. This October, Jamie did three tattoos for me, and I already have an appointment for one more in 2022. I love my tattoos! When I am outside, people stop me to compliment the artwork and the quality of rendering and needlework. Jamie K. is incredibly skilled, talented, and confident with her needle and ink. She is a kind and remarkable person! The tattoo sessions were memorable and therapeutic. I can't wait to be her canvas again!

Fantastic experience: I found Jamie through an article praising her as one of the go-to tattoo artists in Vancouver. I absolutely loved her work but doubted that I would get an appointment with her since I am from out of province and her books were only open for months in advance. However, within a day Jamie sent me an email saying she had a cancellation and would love to squeeze me in for an appointment before I travelled back to Saskatchewan. I sent her my design preferences and again within a day or two she had a beautiful design ready to go for me! As soon as I walked in to her studio I felt comfortable. Jamie has a very kind and calming presence, and the experience of getting tatted by her was surprisingly relaxing! It was honestly the best tattoo experience I’ve had after 3 previous tattoos done elsewhere, not to mention that the tattoo turned out incredible and exactly how I had hoped! Fantastic experience: Jamie is an amazing artist as I am a reoccurring client. She does a great job designing what I wanted from the inspiration photos I sent. She sent me an outline image a week before getting my tattoo and was easy to contact/communicate with for any questions prior. On the day of getting my tattoo, she was ready to start and we worked together on placement (I didn't have to adjust the size). The whole process went so smoothly and quick in my opinion. I am absolutely in love with the finished product, the outline and shading look so good and I cant wait to show it off!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo from Jamie and I love it! From beginning to end, I had a wonderful experience. Easy booking system and all of my questions were answered with quick responses. The design she created was exactly what I wanted. Jamie is a talented artist. She appreciated that I chose her to do my first tattoo. She made sure I was comfortable and she was super easy to talk to. The time flew by. The shop is clean and relaxing and Karla, the Coordinator, was pleasant to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with Jamie for multiple small floral pieces done in one session. Throughout the entire process Jamie and her staff were patient and polite and very clear on their policies for fees & scheduling - I rescheduled my original appointment to a later date - and there were no surprises! As for the tattoos themselves, Jamie's approach is very collaborative and she has a lot of patience for somewhat indecisive clients like myself. She did not rush at all during our appointment and let me take my time to choose placement. The work itself is beyond beautiful and I am so happy with it. I will definitely be a repeat client! Fantastic experience: Jamie has an amazing gift of talent for tattooing. Not only did she capture my vision for my design, she surpassed all my expectations! My tattoo is absolutely perfect, it is feminine, light, colourful and personal to me.. My appointment was well worth the wait (7 months), and I can’t wait for her books to open up again in the future! I think Jamies’ style is really unique, and you won’t be disappointed! Fantastic experience: Jamie's work is incredibly beautiful and I'm so glad I was able to get a piece of her art! I gave some parameters around flower type, size, and placement but she had full creative license to create what was inspiring to her. The booking system was great and she provided the stencil two weeks in advance for any amendments (which she reverted very quickly). The session itself was welcoming and we chatted the whole time but there was lots of opportunity to take a breather/drink water if you needed. I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo done by Jamie, and I couldn’t have had a better experience! She was so chill, so fun to talk to, and as nervous as I was, we were giggling over jokes and fun stories the whole time. She’s the type of person that you trust and feel super comfortable around. Fantastic experience: Jamie created a stunning custom design for my tattoo based on a few elements I wanted to have included. It was a larger piece - took about 4 hours and it was a great experience. The shop is great; it was a beautiful, clean, and relaxed environment. Jamie is a really interesting person to talk to as well and the four hours went by so quickly. And now I have the most beautiful artwork I could have imagined. I also really appreciate Jamie’s coordinator Karla who answered all my questions leading up to the actual appointment. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love my tattoo! The self photo is taken at an odd angle because of location. I love Jamie's work and she's so sweet and genuine. The studio is gorgeous and easy to get to. I knew she was the one I wanted to do this deeply meaningful piece for me and she delivered. I'm very pleased with the results - beautiful clean lines and it's better than the original picture I showed her. The 3.5 hours went by so quickly because of all the great conversation. Fantastic experience: I was scheduled for my tattoo appointment April 2020. Shutdown happened and a year and a half later I finally got my first tattoo! Initial set up and communication was supreme, quick, and easy. Jamie was swift and thorough with all her replies to my questions both in the beginning and throughout shutdown. We emailed back and forth a few times during the shutdown rescheduling process and I had no issues with getting a new appointment on the books. The shop is clean and well lit and easy to find. Jamie opened all her items in front of me and made sure I was comfortable during the tattoo appointment. She took great care in her art, placement of the stencil, and making sure I was happy with the process. I recommend her 110% for amazing art, skill, conversation, and business.

Fantastic experience: For a very long time, I was on the hunt for a artist to add a snake to my existing floral piece. Absolutely no regrets having Jamie tattoo me! Although the wait for my appointment was long, it was definitely well worth it! Jamie is easy to work with and presented me with a design I was very happy with. Fantastic experience: I got my first tattoo from Jamie today and I could not be happier! Jamie is so talented and amazing. My tattoo is beautiful and exactly what I asked for. Jamie suggested I go a little bigger after measuring my ribs and I'm so glad I did. Getting the tattoo was great overall and I had so much fun chatting with Jamie. Her little studio is super cozy and clean as well! I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone, especially for a fine line tattoo!
